The device has a left half and right half that are attachable along a centerline with one or two rows of buttons or other fasteners. The left and right halves are partially separable by unbuttoning one or more of the buttons. Typically, the left and right halves are sewed together over a small region at the bottom to keep the parts from totally separating. This prevents a mix-up as to which is left or right or top or bottom. The width and length of the blanket or cover can be sized to fit a double bed, queen-size bed or a king-size bed, couch or any other system. Optionally, the left and right halves each can have a unique monogram or sports logo.

The container has a top section, a lateral section, and a bottom section. The top section, the lateral section, and the bottom section each have an inner surface and an outer surface. An insertion hole and a vent hole traverse through the top section. The straw is inserted into the insertion hole and attached to the inner surface of the lateral section. A piercing tool attached to the straw is used to puncture a pierceable cover of the vent hole. As a result, venting occurs through the vent hole so that the stored content within the container can be easily drawn out through the straw.

The beverage container is versatile in that it may be adapted for use with a beverage container containing a cold beverage, a hot beverage, or a foamy or creamy beverage. The beverage container lid preferably includes a spout, straw perforations, an elevated portion, a reservoir bottom, a well portion, and a pair of retaining walls preventing direct flow of beverage from a pair of openings in the interior cover to the spout. Methods of use and methods of making a beverage container lid are also described.

Abstract: A stackable liquor glass has a bowl and a stem with set of equidistantly spaced holes to reduce vacuum pressure. In addition the stackable liquor glass includes a drainage passage, vented by the equidistantly placed holes for passage of fluid and air through a drainage pathway. The drain passage drains fluid through an asymmetric pathway for drainage outside of the glass through an opening in the glass. In addition a flat surface inside the bowl of the glass provides for a structure for the stacked glass to rest upon.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a set of tableware for use by persons with neuro-cognitive impairment, compromised or under developed motor skills, or any persons with difficulties eating foods and imbibing drinks. As described herein, the tableware set includes at least one container and at least one spoon. The container has a smooth sidewall portion, a vertically slanted basin portion to define an asymmetrical cavity enclosed by the container. A flat base is provided on the underside of the container. A spoon is provided to match the curvature of the container along or more axes. To assist disabled persons with using the spoon, the side edges of the spoon matches the vertical curvature of the sidewall container, and the tip of the spoon matches the horizontal curvature. The handle of the spoon is designed along an arc to match the alignment of a closed hand when holding a spoon.

The invention has a pair of U-shaped notches elevated above the top surface of the base, as well as an open-back/closed toe foot box, built into the boot tray. The user may thus step into the boot tray, use the pair of U-shaped notches as a boot jack to grip and secure the heels of both boots at once, and remove them, one at a time. During removal of the second boot, the user's unbooted foot is placed into the protected foot box, keeping it dry and out of contact with the ground, the outside of the boots, or any part of the boot jack and boot tray touched or soiled by the boots during their removal.

The apparatus can be securely connected to a pre-existing doorknob of the front door or pre-existing door handle on or near the front door for a mail carrier to deliver a package, lock up the parcel bag, so that only the resident or authorized recipient can access the parcel upon their return. The locking mechanism in the parcel bag is one-way, thereby, once locked; even the package delivery person will not be able to access the package. The secure storage system neither damages nor requires any permanent alterations to the property structures at or near the front-door. It is portable and can be carried along during one's travel.

Abstract: A coffee filter insert device for holding a coffee filter in an open configuration during the brewing process. The coffee filter insert is configured as a substantially circular loop or ring composed of a single wire. The wire has a serpentine shaped structure such that it has a plurality of sinusoidal waves. Abstract: The inventive food holding apparatus comprises a holding area that accommodates food and warms the food with heat radiated by a bottom surface and with warm convection air. Part of the convection air forms an air curtain having a Bernoulli effect that removes excess moisture from the external surface of the food and maintains the food in a warm, crisp condition. The apparatus conditions food to attain a biologically safe noncooking temperature and to retain its freshly cooked texture and internal moisture for more than two hours. This lets restaurants serve the food longer to its customers, allowing efficient batch cooking and significantly decreasing food waste.
