Abstract: A phased split-pitch barrel loader for a packaging machine has a leading loader aim assembly and a trailing loader arm assembly. Each loader arm assembly has a loader arm that carries a loader face on one end and the loader aim is extendable and retractable on guide rails. One loader arm is driven in a downstream direction by a first set of endless chains and the other is driven by a second set of endless chains. One of the endless chains can be advanced or retarded in phase relative to the other to move the loader arms further apart or closer together as they move in the downstream direction. This moves the loader faces further apart or closer together and the loader faces have fingers that interleave when the loader faces are brought together. Thus, a composite loader face having a predetermined area can be formed by moving the loader assemblies closer together or farther apart.

Abstract: A foldable container features a base and four lateral walls, with the lateral walls featuring trailing edges with latching elements and one or more ridges that extend from the trailing edge on the internal surface and/or close to the external surface and on lateral edges of the side wall. During stacking, the ridges mesh either between the latching elements and/or between two additional ridges so that stacked containers cannot shift in longitudinal direction. The trailing edges are designed in a step like shape and feature a protruding edge, by means of which a shifting in diagonal direction is also prevented. According to the invention, the containers are deformed less during transport and are easier to fold together. The invention facilitates stacking and folding by robots.

The retaining ring is positioned with the sealing membrane engagement surface in overlying engagement with the sealing membrane. Extension of the tab into the recessed circumferential channel of the body releasably maintains the overlying engagement and biases the retaining ring against the membrane. The inner wall structure of the retaining ring extends radially inward beyond the membrane engaging flange of the sealing membrane, to, in turn, protect the membrane.

Abstract: The hygienic spout for bottles is a single part including a body which is rigidly connected to a base having a sunken area in the centre thereof. The sunken area and the inner surface of the body define a ring for support on the mouth of the bottle. The mouth of the bottle can be cleaned or disinfected, while maintaining the properties of contents to be consumed and being able to be used as a glass. The spout has a preferably frustoconical embodiment which allows the use thereof on bottles with different mouth diameters and the stacking of various spouts in a removable manner, facilitates condensation and reduces the effervescence of fizzy, frothy or carbonated drinks. An antiseptic strip can be arranged over the inner surface of the spout or it can be covered with an antiseptic solution for cleaning or disinfecting the mouth of the bottle.

Abstract: A removeable circular lid with a sealant coating on said inner surface, with vacuum release apparatus, has a lid, and a lid cap. The lid has one or more through holes. The lid cap has one or more protrusions, equal to the number of through holes, wherein the protrusions align with the through holes, and protrude through the holes. The lid cap is rotatable relative to the lid, and the through holes are larger than the protrusions, such that when the cap is rotated relative to the lid, rotation is allowed for the play of the protrusions in the through holes. The sealant coating is applied to the lid with the lid cap in a position such that the protrusions are seated at the furthest clockwise position of the through hole when looking from the top allowing for clearance for the sealant to cover the cut edges of the hole.
