Abstract: Electrical bus isolation is detected for an electrified vehicle having a DC power source connected to positive and negative buses. The positive bus is connected to chassis ground, and a resulting first current is sensed that flows through a negative bus leakage resistance and a balanced leakage resistance. The negative bus is connected to chassis ground, and a resulting second current is sensed that flows through a negative bus leakage resistance and a balanced leakage resistance. The positive and negative bus leakage resistances are estimated in response to respective ratios of the first and second currents. An isolation value is compared to a threshold, wherein the isolation value is responsive to a voltage of the DC power source and a smaller one of the positive and negative bus leakage resistances. An atypical isolation is signaled when the isolation value is less than the threshold.

Abstract: A charging facility collects DC power supplied from a plurality of power supply devices in a DC bus, and then uses the DC power to charge an on-board rechargeable battery for an electric vehicle. In an energy management method for a charging facility, each power supply device operates under independent automatic control according to a change in voltage in the DC bus. An upper-level control unit which collectively controls a plurality of power supply sources is not required, and a plurality of power supply devices can be combined with a simple configuration achieved by merely connecting respective output terminals to the DC bus. In addition, the entire charging facility can be operated flexibly. Thus, it is possible to achieve a simple configuration and to allow flexible operation while a plurality of power converters are combined with a system power supply.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention include a vehicle interior component. The vehicle interior component has a cover forming a design surface, and a tag attached to the cover. The tag has a first piece, a second piece and an attachment portion for attaching the first piece to the cover. The second piece has a first end integrated with the first piece, and a second end attached to the cover directly or indirectly. The second piece is laminated on the first piece while covering the attachment portion. Thus, the second piece is capable of using the attachment portion to suppress impairment of the design property of the vehicle interior component. The tag is attached to the cover in a manner helping to achieve a satisfactory outward appearance.

Abstract: This invention is an Automotive Center Console Armrest Storage Box Lid Protector that is an alternative for replacing the factory installed center console/storage box armrest lid when damaged or to be used to for driving comfort as creates a barrier between the factory installed lid and the under forearm of the driver or passengers forearm. It is designed to be installed over the factory installed lid and is held in place with an elastic band or drawstring sewed on the underside of the fitted fabric piece to keep the fabric protector from slipping. It can be made with or without an added sleeve pocket sewed to the top side as in the sketches. Drivers and passengers that rest their forearm on the center console while driving can have added comfort with this protective cover and also can be used as an alternative to replacing the factory installed hard cover after being damaged from use stains and UV rays. It is installed by opening the lid inserting the protective cover by hand over the factory installed lid.

Abstract: The stick removal mechanism for nut harvesting includes a frame having opposing side members and sprockets mounted on the side members. A roller chain is mounted on the sprockets on each side of the frame. A plurality of cross members having fingers extending therefrom is attached to and extends between the roller chains for travel therewith. A plurality of cross members and their chains define an endless conveyor belt. An adjustable agitator mechanism is installed upon each of the side members, which adjusts corresponding agitator sprockets to lift and agitate the respective roller chains. The stick removal mechanism is installed over the open top of a collector receptacle, e.g., a cart, so that debris is carried atop the conveyor and dropped behind the cart while nuts fall through the passages between the fingers and into the receptacle.
