Abstract: Systems and methods for producing reference voltages are disclosed. An example bandgap reference circuit includes a core bandgap module that produces a bias control for biasing the gate of a transistor to produce a proportional to absolute temperature current. The core bandgap module may use an operational amplifier that uses auto-calibration to reduce its input offset voltage. A trimming module uses the bias control to produce a proportional to absolute temperature current that is combined with a trim current and supplied to a resistor and diode to produce a trimmed bandgap voltage. The trimmed bandgap voltage is buffered to produce a reference voltage output. The trim current may be set based on a room temperature measurement of the reference voltage output.

Abstract: A magnetic rotation restricting device includes a support unit, a rotary unit, a magnetic unit enabling the support unit and the rotary unit to be magnetically attracted to each other; and a restricting unit. With the arrangement of magnetic attraction, and the engagement of the toothed portions and the threaded portion, and the restricted space, the structure of the magnetic rotation restricting device is very stable, and therefore suitable for use in an assembly member which needs to be used under high speed environment (such as extreme sports). Besides, only the restricting unit needs to be released when adjusting the angle of the assembly member, and a restricting force (the magnetic force) will be produced during angle adjustment to prevent inertia-caused uncontrolled rotation of the assembly member, so as to enhance the precision of adjustment.

Abstract: The various aspects provide methods, systems, and devices for coordinating the operating states of multiple SOCs within a computing device. Such coordination may be implemented through communication of information by the SOCs that represent advance notice of impending interactions between each other. The communicated information may be used by a recipient SOC for setting its operating state in advance of the potential impending interaction with another SOC. Accordingly, this technical improvement enables individual SOCs to preemptively influence the operating states of the other SOCs. For example, in the context of power management, the various aspects may coordinate the power states of multiple SOCs, thereby effectively implementing a monolithic power management state machine that improves overall power consumption of the computing device.

Abstract: A control system includes a housing engaged to a mounting surface, a sensor contained within the housing, a microcontroller unit connected to the sensor, a server in communication with the sensor, and a terminal device in communication with the server. The system starts in an idle mode with the microcontroller having low power consumption. A gesture by a user associated with the mounting surface switches or toggles the operating mode of the control system into a ready mode. In the ready mode, the microcontroller has higher power consumption so as to connect the sensor to the server, and gestures by the user associated with the mounting surface can control the terminal device. The system alerts the switch in operating mode and filters background environment so only gestures are interpreted for switching operation mode or for issuing commands of the terminal device.

Abstract: In one aspect, an apparatus includes a processor, a sensor accessible to the processor, a display accessible to the processor, and memory accessible to the processor. The memory bears instructions executable by the processor to receive first input from the sensor, and based on the first input, identify a location on the display at which a user is looking. The instructions are also executable to receive second input from an input device in communication with the apparatus and, responsive to receipt of the second input and based on the location on the display, execute a function at the apparatus regardless of a location of the input device when the second input was received.

Abstract: The proposed method relates to the field of providing physical feedback to a user from a virtual application, particularly a computer game or other software applications. The method for interactive physiological and technological synchronization of a user with a virtual environment includes taking the user's biometric and/or kinematic parameters, transferring the user's biometric and/or kinematic parameters to an application program, generating feedback signals in the application program, transmitting the feedback signals to a computing device, processing the feedback signals and supplying feedback pulses which invoke physical sensations in the nervous system of the user through contact with the user's skin, wherein the feedback pulses are supplied using the principle of cascaded distribution of electrical pulses. Also claimed are variants of a wearable apparatus for implementation of the proposed method. The proposed method and apparatus allow for creating a deep-sense reality for the user.
