Abstract: A ceramic valve includes a casing, a drive seat, a coupling seat, a rotary block and a fixed block sequentially mounted into the casing, wherein a braking shaft is pivotally connected to the drive seat and extends through a top of the casing. A pedestal is sealingly secured on a bottom of the casing for positioning the drive seat, the coupling seat, the rotary block and the fixed block. The rotary block is moved relative to the fixed block to guide cold water into the ceramic valve when the ceramic valve is in a middle section and the braking rod is operated to an inclined status.

Abstract: A sanitary insertion unit has a sealing ring with a sleeve-shaped extension, the free end region of which extension has a head which protrudes circumferentially and, when the extension is inserted into an associated line section, can be deformed at least in regions such that the head of the extension is placed onto the inner circumferential wall of the line section. A sanitary insertion unit also has/is a flow regulator, the outer circumference of the housing of which bears a clamping edge region for sealing and clamping the flow regulator between two interconnected line sections, the flow regulator bears a sleeve-shaped extension, the circumferentially protruding head of which, produced from elastic material, can be deformed, when the extension is inserted into a line section, such that the head is placed onto the inner circumferential wall of the line section.

Abstract: The invention relates to a jet regulator (1) with a sleeve-shaped jet regulator housing (2), which (2) can be mounted on the water outlet of a plumbing outlet armature, and with a sealing ring (5) made of elastic material, which (5) seals in an axial direction against an adjoining annular flange at the water outlet of the outlet fixture. On the front inner peripheral area (6) of the jet regulator housing (2) on the inflow side, there is provided at least one housing undercut (7), which secures, on the jet regulator housing (2), the sealing ring (5), inserted into the housing interior (8) of the jet controller housing (2). In the jet controller (1) according to the invention, the sealing ring (5) is effectively secured against unintended loss, for example, during transport or storage.

Abstract: An apparatus for detecting leaks and for shutting off the water flow has a flushing cistern having a water inlet that is controlled by main valve, a filling column connected to the flushing cistern, a fluid compartment having a float therein and an actuating mechanism. The main valve has an operating lever that is operable to close the main valve. The float is cooperative at the operating lever so as to pivot the operating lever when the flushing cistern is full of water. When the float lowers in the float compartment as the float compartment is emptied, the actuating mechanism causes the operating lever to open the water inlet so as to allow the flushing cistern to fill.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a lock assembly to lock a flush valve system, the handle lock assembly configured for placement on a flushing valve handle of a urinal or toilet comprising a top component and a bottom component comprising first and second arm sections and a center support section situated there between, each arm section pivotally connected to the first end of the top component. The arm sections also comprise a locking element for releasably locking with a mating locking element on the top component. A major advantage of the methods, systems and apparatuses disclosed herein is the savings in water that can be achieved without having to replace the current water-based urinal with a no-water urinal or expensive urinal with automatic flushing devices that control flushing.

Abstract: A flush valve system is provided having an inlet and an outlet, and a main valve element adapted for transition between a closed position and an open position is disclosed. The flush valve further includes a control chamber in communication with the inlet, and a vent outlet in communication with the outlet. The system includes a solenoid for establishing communication between the control chamber and the vent outlet to establish a pressure differential across a portion of the main valve element. The system also includes a power supply for energizing the solenoid, a deployable actuator in communication with the power supply, and a microprocessor in electrical communication with the main valve element. The microprocessor is adapted to determine a valve opening time, calculate fluid pressure based on the valve opening time, and deliver a predetermined quantity of fluid through the valve based on fluid pressure.

Abstract: An emergency flush apparatus for a toilet includes a flush driver module, a battery, and a processing unit operatively connected to the battery and the flush driver module. The emergency flush apparatus further includes a flush switch operatively connected to the battery and the processing unit, and a primary power supply operatively connected to the flush driver module. When the flush switch is activated, the processing unit detects a state of the flush driver module. Power is then supplied to the flush driver module from one of either the primary power supply or the battery in response to the detected state.

Abstract: A toilet tool cleansing system employs a mixing eductor that disperses a disinfectant solution into a water stream that is sprayed onto the tool and thereafter collected and discharged into a toilet via a drain eductor. The cleansing system includes plumbing and a valve adapted to be in fluid communication with an existing water supply source. A housing receives the toilet tool. The housing has at least one spray nozzle in fluid communication with the mixing eductor for dispensing the water and disinfectant on the tool. The drain eductor propels waste liquids from the system into a toilet bowl.

Abstract: A portable personal hygiene device is detachably secured to a toilet bowl rim via an integral mounting bracket. The hygiene device controllably directs liquid, water, or other solution to the posterior portions of a user's body through a nozzle assembly. The hygiene device includes a housing which encloses a power source, a motor and a pump. An adjustable brace is included to facilitate enhanced secured attachment of the hygiene device to the toilet rim. A replaceable, reusable reservoir provides the water supply for the pump. The nozzle assembly is movable between retracted and extended positions.

Abstract: A one-piece faceplate for supporting a wall mounted toilet above a floor surface having a faceplate body that defines a receiving hole extending therethrough configured to receive a waste discharge conduit is provided. Further, a support member extends from at least one surface of the faceplate body that is configured to contact the floor surface, thereby providing support to a wall mounted toilet. The support member is non-adjustable relative to the faceplate body. The faceplate body has a collar extending outwardly therefrom around the periphery of the receiving hole. The receiving hole is adapted to receive contents from the waste discharge conduit upon threadable engagement with the collar. Additionally, a method for providing a faceplate for supporting a wall mounted toilet is also provided.

A panel zone is located adjacent to the first end of the beam, and the top end of the column is attached to the panel zone. The panel zone includes a yielding member and reinforcing structure at least partially bounding the yielding member, the reinforcing structure being configured to concentrate stresses to within the yielding member. The panel zone is configured to resolve external lateral forces on the beam and column into shear force in the yielding member so that the yielding member will fail prior to failure of the beam and column.

Abstract: Disclosed is an economical and effective way of producing a double sided decorative wall using facing panels having a decorative face surface, in particular dry cast concrete panels having a regular surface structure, more preferably an embossed surface, most preferably a patterned surface. Further disclosed are wall components and a wall kit for a double sided decorative wall. The facing panels in the wall are stacked in a back-to-back arrangement into a pair of first and second back-to-back walls, which walls are interconnected by connectors which link at least one facing panel in the first wall to at least one facing panel in the second wall for forming the double sided decorative wall. The connecting members can be in individual connectors, or a combination of connectors for linking multiple facing panels or linking facing panels at corners or curves in the wall. The connectors can be of different length to enable the construction of decorative walls of different thickness.

The plug may include a plug body. The plug body may include a front body portion, a rear body portion, a left body portion, a right body portion, a top surface disposed between the left body portion, the right body portion, the front body portion, and the rear body portion. A rabbet is disposed across the front body portion. A spacer flange extends from the front body portion. A plurality of chamfers are disposed between the top surface and the left body portion, the right body portion, and the rear body portions. The plug is sized to occupy a gap formed in the junction between the horizontal member and the vertical mullion of the curtain wall. The rabbet and the plurality of chamfers form a plurality of large crevices between the plug, the horizontal member, and the vertical mullion. The large crevices allow penetration of a sealant therein.

Lead-out parts of the embedded members are oriented towards the inner and outer wall bodies and are fixed to inner and outer wall bodies. The composite material curtain wall units (1) in vertical adjacency are arrayed in a staggered manner. An elastic structural adhesive (3) is coated on surfaces of the composite material curtain wall units (1). Thin-type metal sheets (4) are covered on the elastic structural adhesive (3).

Abstract: The precast I-beam concrete panels include an elongate I-beam embedded in an elongate concrete beam that has a platform or panel parallel to the upper flange of the I-beam. The I-beam is longer than the concrete beam so that opposite end portions of the I-beam project past the corresponding ends of the concrete beam. During installation, the projecting end portions of the I-beam may be seated into corresponding notches or recesses in spaced support beams. The sides of the concrete beam may be flat for abutting engagement with adjacent panels, or may be provided with opposing, stepped lip flanges for forming lap joints along longitudinal edges of adjacent panels. The sides of the precast I-beam concrete panels may be semi-parabolic, so that adjacent panels define an arch below interlocking panels. A plurality of the panels laid side-by-side and supported by the notched beams define a concrete floor or concrete foundation.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of installing a spacer fitting repair device on a utility support structure. The method includes removing an insulator strand from an insulator aperture of a spacer fitting, abrading a first outer surface and a second outer surface of the spacer fitting connected to the utility support structure to create roughen the first and second outer surfaces, positioning a front plate against a portion of the first outer surface, positioning a back plate against a portion of the second outer surface, and clamping the front plate and the back plate to the spacer fitting. The method may be used to repair spacer fittings for supporting utility transmission wires or cables.

The base plate, the flanges and the lips define a first recess and a second recess. The at least one anchor includes an anchor plate and a pair of projections extending from the anchor plate. A first projection has a first securing lip and a second projection has a second securing lip, the first securing lip having a portion sized to fit in the first recess and the second securing lip having a portion sized to fit in the second recess.

The cap has an edge slot so that the connecting tab can be separated from the cap, by merely sliding the cap, so that the connecting tab passes through the slot. A flexible spring-like portion of the cap provides increased force on the tile, even if undesired elongation of the connecting tab occurs.

Abstract: This invention is an electric ladder. It is like no other ladder you have ever seen. Abstract: A mechanism for moving vehicles within a vehicle parking structure comprises a lift platform which can be moved vertically and laterally to positions in register with one or more transfer rooms through which vehicles enter and leave the structure and a selected parking space of the structure. A vehicle transfer mechanism is carried on the platform and includes four self-powered tractors carrying lift arms that can be driven off the platform to engage the tires of a vehicle and to transfer that vehicle onto the platform for transportation between a transfer room and a parking space. The tractors, when deployed, pass outside the vehicle tires with the lift arms folded and can then be operated to extend the arms in a way that engages the tires and lifts the vehicle.

Abstract: A concrete holding tank and related systems and methods, including a monolithic concrete sewage holding tank created with two separate pours of concrete where an encased-in-place seal (water stop) is positioned at a pour joint between a tub of the tank and a cover of the tank, and where in some aspects the second pour also forms a structural column contacting a bottom of the tank and supporting the cover. The structural column and resulting larger cover presents a tank having a low profile while still providing desired capacity.

Abstract: A dual locking padlock having a code locking mechanism and an overriding mechanism is disclosed. The housing has a spacer as its top portion, a stack of clutches forming a middle portion and a bottom portion having holes to receive screws from the spacer for securing the housing. Dials are rotatably mounted on the clutches for changing the combination code. The housing has a spindle having a channel to store the heel of a shackle. The spindle's upward movement allows the shackle to be pulled upward to unlock the padlock. The spindle is allowed to move upward either when a correct combination code is used or when a key activates the overriding mechanism. With the overriding mechanism, the user can open the padlock with a backup key if the user forgets the combination code, and then reset the dials to a new combination code.

Abstract: The present invention, and inventive system, describes a locking system that reinforces an existing recessed cover or tubular. In many embodiments of the present invention, the present invention reinforces an existing recessed cover by preventing the recessed covers from being easily removed by unauthorized persons and prevents any unauthorized personnel from accessing a locked down tubular. In one embodiment of the present invention, the inventive system is designed to maximize the overall strength of the locking unit for recessed covers or tubulars by using applied force on both the recessed cover and the circumference, curves, or straight, edge of the recessed unit or tubular interior.

A slide is located in the slide slot and movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. A housing is mounted to the body and has a first hole defined in the inside thereof. Two second holes are defined in the top of the housing. The slide is located in the first hole when the slide is located at the locked position. The slide can be moved and separated from the housing to replace the shackle and the cylinder when the padlock is unlocked.

Abstract: A door latch device for a vehicle includes: a body having a striker advancing groove formed on one surface thereof through which a striker arranged on a vehicle body advances corresponding to a closing movement of the door; a latch configured to engage with the advanced striker to be rotatable; a pole configured to rotate interlocking with the rotation of the latch and engaged with the latch so as to restrain the door at a closed position; a lever configured to rotate based on an opening operation of a handle arranged on the door to rotate the interlocking pole; and a spring configured to urge the lever. The lever has a shaft hole. The body includes a spring accommodating part that accommodates the spring, and a pivot that is inserted to the shaft hole of the lever to rotatably support the lever.
