Abstract: Disclosed embodiments, as well as features and aspects thereof, are directed towards a utility cart. Exemplary embodiments feature a three front-wheel arrangement on a common axle and a pair of swiveling rear wheels attached to a frame. Certain embodiments feature a sub-frame that is releasably locked to a main frame portion such that, when the locking mechanism is removed, the sub-frame may be lifted to pivot around the front axle and “tip” a tub aspect carrying a payload. Certain embodiments may also comprise a handle aspect that is slidably engaged with the frame of the cart such that it can be extended to various positions, including being fully disengaged, flipped and reengaged to translate from a “push state” for a manual user to a “pull state” for a hitch.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a storage unit for containment, shipping, and storage of articles. The storage unit includes a base and a frame. In various embodiments, the frame may be generally rectangular and defining a storage region therein. The base of the storage unit is designed to matingly engage with a removable wheeled dolly. In a typical embodiment, the dolly facilitates maneuverability and positioning of the storage unit, particularly in confined areas. In various embodiments, a single dolly may facilitate manipulation of multiple storage units, wherein the dolly may be attached to a storage unit while the storage unit is in use and removed when the storage unit is in long-term storage, thereby reducing the space required to store the storage unit.

Abstract: A child transporter comprises a wheel having an axle, a seat located directly above the wheel for supporting the child, at least one footrest for supporting the child's feet such that, in use, the child straddles the wheel, and a handle extending away from the wheel so as to be graspable by an adult. The seat and footrest are positioned so that the child's weight is substantially over the central axle. This makes the child transporter easy to control from the point of view of tipping sideways, pushing forwards and steering at walking pace. At higher speeds, such as jogging and walking paces, the child transporter becomes even easier to control. This allows an adult to participate in activities such as walking or jogging, at speed or over rough ground, without carrying the child but whilst maintaining proper supervision over the child.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a central underbody portion of a structural body of a motor vehicle to delimit a bottom of a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The method includes assembling a floor of the central underbody portion, attaching an integral central profile to the floor, arranged in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle and having a length dependent on a length of the central underbody portion in the longitudinal direction, and assembling at least one end piece forming an extension of the central profile. The end piece has an interface providing a connection and a function of absorbing and transmitting forces with a structural portion of the body that is separate from the central underbody portion and/or with the floor. The attaching includes adapting the length of the central profile as a function of the length of the central underbody portion in the longitudinal direction.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to remote control over a number of degrees of freedom of coupling between a first suspension member and a second suspension member. In an illustrative embodiment, when in an uncoupled state, the first suspension member may move substantially independently of any motion of the second suspension member. When in a coupled state, for example, the first suspension member may move in response to movement of the second suspension member. In some embodiments, the coupling between members may be altered by selectively permitting at least one degree of freedom of motion of the suspension system. For example, in some systems, a variable shock absorber may be selectively set to a fixed length in response to a control system signal. A remotely coupled suspension system may advantageously provide dynamically controllable suspension configurations for various riding conditions.
