  • Patent number: 9511858
Abstract: An aircraft defining an upright orientation and an inverted orientation, a ground station; and a control system for remotely controlling the flight of the aircraft. The ground station has an auto-land function that causes the aircraft to invert, stall, and controllably land in the inverted orientation to protect a payload and a rudder extending down from the aircraft. In the upright orientation, the ground station depicts the view from a first aircraft camera. When switching to the inverted orientation: (1) the ground station depicts the view from a second aircraft camera, (2) the aircraft switches the colors of red and green wing lights, extends the ailerons to act as inverted flaps, and (3) the control system adapts a ground station controller for the inverted orientation. The aircraft landing gear is an expanded polypropylene pad located above the wing when the aircraft is in the upright orientation.

  • Patent number: 9511859
Abstract: A rotorcraft including a fuselage, one or more motor-driven rotors for vertical flight, and a control system. The motors drive the one or more rotors in either of two directions of rotation to provide for flight in either an upright or an inverted orientation. An orientation sensor is used to control the primary direction of thrust, and operational instructions and gathered information are automatically adapted based on the orientation of the fuselage with respect to gravity. The rotors are configured with blades that invert to conform to the direction of rotation.

  • Patent number: 9511870
Abstract: An apparatus for providing preconditioned air to at least one aircraft parked on the ground wherein internal heat exchangers lower or raise the discharge air temperature. The apparatus uses a main housing unit having a vent for air intake, a primary refrigeration system using a primary intake coil to precool or preheat the air in a primary intake plenum serving two blower intakes and two separate and independent blowers. Each blower discharge is then directed to a separate secondary plenum. Each secondary plenum uses a secondary refrigeration system to remove heat resulting from the blower and may further use a tertiary refrigeration system located downstream of the secondary system to provide further cooling or heating to achieve the desired air temperature. Each secondary plenum has an outlet for connection to parked aircraft. The apparatus can provide independent temperature, air pressure and airflow to two or more aircraft or provide appropriate temperature, air pressure and airflow to one aircraft.

Abstract: A plurality of orbiting solar generators stay in constant touch. They can be congregated rapidly in space at any desired secret location. Once congregated selected members of the group focus their energy to a death star. This death star could be a newly launched ICBM with a giant capacitor and a means to connect this capacitor to the selected members of the group of orbiting solar generators. A laser generator uses this giant capacitor energy to project a non-nuclear laser death ray to a target. The target could be a city, a ship or a satellite. • Patent number: 9511905
Abstract: A synthetic resin container closure does not render required initial torque and required secondary torque for unsealing excessively high, and but can fully reliably prevent slipping-out, a phenomenon where a locking device ascends while elastically climbing over a locking jaw portion, without causing breakage of a circumferential breakable line, at the time of unsealing. Such a synthetic resin container closure and a combination of the synthetic resin container closure and a container are provided. An inverted truncated cone-shaped fitting surface extending upwards at a radially outward incline from the base edge of an upper surface of the locking device is disposed in the inner peripheral surface of a tamper evident bottom section demarcated below the circumferential breakable line formed in a skirt wall.

Abstract: A tamper-evident closure includes a tamper-evident strip connected with frangible connection points to a shoulder portion of a closure body before first time opening of the closure. In the closed position of a lid, a skirt portion of the lid is located behind the tamper-evident strip. The skirt portion includes locking lugs that protrude from the outer skirt surface towards the front and in the closed position of the lid engage an underside of the tamper-evident strip, such that upon a first-time opening the lid is only movable to the open position when the tamper-evident strip is permanently removed by breaking the frangible connecting points. The tamper-evident strip has bent end portions with frangible connection points that are bent towards the skirt portion, whereby a virtual straight line through these frangible connection points, seen from the front, lies behind a virtual straight line through the other frangible connection points.
