  • Patent number: 9533808
Abstract: A cable tie with means to form a loop in order to mount cables against a panel or a marking badge. The cable tie has an integrated panel anchor having an elongated body in an area where the cable tie has an elongated cross-section and changes direction at least one time. The cable tie is intended to be mounted in a panel that has an opening with a shape that is a combination of a circular hole and a elongated opening. The mounting starts with a bending around the panel anchor which is then mounted into the openings elongated part. Then the cable tie is rotated typically 90° around the axis of the circular part of the opening. Then by releasing the bending, the band on each side of the panel anchor is fixed in the elongated part of the opening and the panel anchor is fixed towards the back-side of the panel.

  • Patent number: 9533809
Abstract: A slit web material has a curvilinear structure that is substantially longer than it is wide, with specially shaped slits, “tilde-slits”, which permit relatively easy expansion upon deployment. The cuts are arranged in continuous rows of tilde-slits. In any given row, the tilde-slits follow one-after-the-other in a curvilinear direction. Adjacent rows of slits are parallel to each other, but are offset from one another such that a line drawn between adjacent tilde-slits in adjacent rows is not perpendicular to the direction of the rows. The invention contemplates that the material dispenses from a continuous roll. If the slits are arranged in the longitudinal direction, then the web material expands in the width direction only upon deployment. However, if the slits are arranged such that the row direction is at some angle to the longitudinal direction, then the web material expands in both directions upon deployment.

  • Patent number: 9533810
Abstract: A lightweight packaging container for the preservation of fruits and vegetables is made from flexible polymeric materials that permit controlled ventilation, enabling the packaged produce to remain hydrated for a longer time, keeping them fresh without the need for refrigeration. The body of the packaging is made of layered polymeric materials. An embodiment includes an outer layer of polymeric material having a structural function, a second layer of porous polymeric material having a moisture-absorbing function, and a third layer of polymeric material containing micro-perforations that have a moisture-retaining function. The materials are pre-arranged in the center of the wider outer strip. The multilayer material is folded and the edges are heat-sealed to form a packaging bag with a flat base. A unique heat-sealing method allows only the edges of the polymeric layers to be joined, leaving the center portion thereof layered but not laminated.

  • Patent number: 9533813
Abstract: A re-closable, stand-up package with a tamper-evident opening system. Production of the package originates from only two feed rolls. One roll is a flexible film web and the other is an adhesive tape. A reclosing layer is constructed from a strip of web material taken from a side of the feed roll and a length of the tape. The strip portion of the closure layer is perforated along tear lines which define a package opening. The tape and the strip are then adhesively joined so that they partially overlap vertically. The closure layer is then applied to the web over a slit in the front panel forming a re-closable primary opening. A gusset fold at the bottom of the package permits the package to be free-standing vertically upright. Contents of the package can be dispensed only after rupture of the closure layer strip.

  • Patent number: 9533831
Abstract: The conveyor belt monitor includes sensors and motion detectors for monitoring the condition of the conveyor belt of a conveyor belt system. The monitor includes upper and lower sensors respectively positioned above and below the lower belt of the conveyor to transmit warning of belt damage or other problem(s) while allowing the conveyor to continue operation. An additional switch above the upper sensor detects extreme belt damage, and shuts down the conveyor if such damage or condition(s) is/are detected. A motion sensor may also be provided to detect rotation of the upper roller and to transmit a warning of material carried on the lower or return belt surface that causes the roller to rotate. The monitor thus automatically warns of an anomalous condition while allowing the conveyor to continue to operate, or shuts down the conveyor in the event of an extreme condition(s).
