A retraction limiter slides over the electrode lead through the posterior tympanotomy with projection arms aligned along the long diameter of the posterior tympanotomy, then is rotated to align the projection arms along the short diameter of the posterior tympanotomy, and secured to the electrode lead so that the projection arms prevent post-surgical retraction of the electrode lead back through the posterior tympanotomy.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a cleansing wipe that comprises the hydrophobic cloth and a cleansing or moisturizing composition, the composition including a cleanser and a silicone emulsion. The cleansing or moisturizing composition is aqueous but has sufficient affinity to the cleansing cloth to allow forcibility in transport and handling of the cloth. When applied to the skin of a patient, the silicone is released from the cloth in an amount effective to inhibit trans-epidermal water loss. The emulsion may comprise, for instance, a C14-22 alcohol or a C12-20 alkyl glucoside. The cleansing or moisturizing composition may include components such as cleansers and humectants, and may include other ingredients such as skin nourishers.

    Abstract: A filtering face-piece respirator 10 that includes a harness 14 and a mask body 12 that has a multi-layer filtering structure 16. Present at the perimeter 24 on the interior surface of the mask body 12 is a region having an increased coefficient of friction 44, in relation to the filtering structure 16. This region 44 can be formed by a discontinuous coating of a polymeric material. The region 44 improves the fit of the respirator 10 on the wearer's face, providing a non-slip seal, yet allows moisture laden air to exit from the interior gas space of the mask body 12.

A foot assembly is rotatably coupled to the support assembly and configured such that the foot assembly is displaced above a ground surface.
