Abstract: A bed frame which can be assembled without the use of additional tools and may be collapsed for shipping. The bed frame comprises a pair of side rails, three cross rail assemblies and mounting brackets. Each of the cross rail assemblies is adjustable in length and comprises multiple movable members. Each cross rail member has a projection which fits inside a cavity of a leg assembly secured to one of the side rails. To disassemble the bed frame, the cross rail assemblies may be removed from the side rails without any tools.

Abstract: A rail cover assembly includes first and second cover portions with surface regions made from an antimicrobial material. The first cover portion has opposing and longitudinally-extending L-shaped lips with at least one pair of first slots defined at opposing locations along the lips. The second cover portion has opposing longitudinal edges for nesting with the first cover portion's lips, and has at least one pair of second slots defined at opposing locations along the edges in alignment with a corresponding pair of the first slots. A joiner is partially engaged in each of the first slots and partially engaged in a correspondingly aligned one of the second slots. Each joiner includes a first spring-loaded portion engaging the first cover portion and a second spring-loaded portion engaging the second cover portion.

Abstract: A bed configured to contain a subject, such as a human infant is disclosed. The bed includes a womb-shaped bumper capable of constricting or squeezing the subject. The bumper is adjustable between a constricting configuration and a non-constricting configuration. An adjustment mechanism, and optionally, a fastener may be used to maintain the bumper in the constricting configuration.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to a baby carrier. The baby carrier allows the parent or caregiver to “wear” the baby on his/her back. In one embodiment, the baby carrier is provided as a backpack-like system without buckles, clamps, Velcro, a metal frame, rings or fasteners, or any other non-material components.

Multiple arrays of receptacles are provided with a central array having a quantity of receptacles that is different than the other arrays to create a non-rectangular overall profile.

Abstract: A blank for forming a printed sheet with foldable frame includes a blank body having front and rear surfaces, a central rectangular portion formed thereon with a print on the front surface. The blank further includes four wing portions extending from the four margins of the central rectangular portion and the four wing portions are foldable into four rectangular tubular frame sections. Twelve locking mechanisms are used to lock the four frame sections in a folded position. A method of forming the printed sheet with foldable frame is also disclosed.

Abstract: A bed pillow with a water-bag support base advantageously includes a compressible foam layer above the water-bag base. The foam layer includes an upper portion of a memory foam and a lower density polyurethane foam therebelow. The low density polyurethane foam includes a convoluted base and vertically extending air vent channels are provided throughout at least a central portion of the pillow. With this arrangement improved air flow is provided. The air vent channels also improve localized compressibility whereby the response characteristics of the water-bag base support are maintained and not greatly dissipated.

Abstract: Embodiments of an orthopedic pillow are provided for supporting the head of a sleeper in a supine position. In one embodiment, the orthopedic pillow includes a base having a centerline, a primary head support surface provided on the base, and laterally-opposed side rails extending upwardly from the base and flanking the primary head support surface. The laterally-opposed side rails include, in turn, interior portions and reinforcement portions. The interior portions are located adjacent the primary head support surface and each formed from a first material having a first stiffness, such as a molded foam having a first density. The reinforcement portions are located outboard of the interior portions, as taken along a lateral axis perpendicular to the centerline. The reinforcement portions formed from a second material having a second stiffness greater than the first stiffness, such as a molded foam having a second density greater than the density.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart pillow system and a manufacturing method therefor. The smart pillow system detects brain wave information of a sleeper who sleeps on a pillow, notifies a smart phone of the brain wave information, receives the most suitable music or acoustic sound for the sleeper's sound sleep from the smart phone on the basis of the sleeper's brain wave information, and provides the received music or acoustic sound to the sleeper through the pillow.

Abstract: Social awareness about health, to include eating habits is rising in understanding and importance. Despite awareness about portion size and emphasizing, deemphasizing, or balancing calories, fats, salt, sugars, and other food components; there is still interest in food choice. One approach to variety with health consideration is to sample favorite foods or foods of interest rather than limiting one's selection and feeling obligated to consume fuller portion sizes. Sampling of solid foods is more easily done with a typical or even divided disposable plate. However, sampling liquid based foods is more difficult. One can do so by using multiple bowls, cups, or even reverting to sharing but these options are hard to carry and sharing with others than a close loved one is not advised. The MultiBowl of this disclosure provides a solution by forming one or more partitions into a typical individual use food bowl to divide the single serving well into two or more serving wells.

Abstract: A device that is placed around the neck of a beverage bottle. The device hangs from the neck of the bottle towards the body of the bottle and thereby cools the contents that are held within the bottle. The device is comprised of three sections, a top section that is elastic in nature and that defines an aperture that surrounds the circumference of a bottle. A middle section that extends from the top section for a distance of at least 1 inch, the middle section may or may not be elastic. And lastly, a bottom section that is composed of two ball sacs that are connected at a mid-juncture so that they are flexible enough to hang from the neck of the bottle while draping over the outside of the bottle so that the contents within the bottle are chilled. The bottom section may be made of materials that absorb moisture and that have insulating qualities.

A wireless remote control is provided to enable a user to transmit wireless command signals to the illuminating sippy cup with audio playback, thereby causing it to selectively activate the lighting elements and/or play sound over the speakers.

Abstract: A modular beverage-glass kit consists of a glass cup, a stem support structure, and a base support structure. The glass cup may have a cup portion and a male threaded portion. The cup portion and the threaded portion are integrally formed in one piece so as to resist accumulation of residue during washing. The stem support structure and the base support structure have different sizes and shapes but have the same female threaded portion for receiving the male threaded portion of the glass cup. The female threaded portion may be constructed separately and assembled into the support structure for improved manufacturing efficiency and flexibility of use. The components of the kit may be located in a box, such as a display case, for marketing and storage.

Abstract: The embodiments shown provide a leak-proof spoutless toddler drinking apparatus comprised of a containing element and releasably attached led which enables the user to drink from a plurality of drinking cavities about the perimeter of the lid while preventing any leaks. The embodiments further provide an elastic collar affixed to the sidewalls of the lid and flexible pinch valve which is designed to “flex” when a sudden interior forces is placed onto it and captures any excess fluid from leaking through at least one of the plurality of drinking cavities. The ergonomic design further allows infants and toddler to grip the apparatus in one hand and drinking from any point about the perimeter of the lid while minimizing air and pressure accumulations with the apparatus.

Abstract: An accessory used to assist a disabled person to put on an upper garment, such as a coat, sweater or vest with two armholes. The accessory includes a rigid round member and a flexible arm each securely attached to the opposite ends of a rigid elongated base. The round member is configured to vertically support the upper garment when draped thereon and still allow disengagement of the upper garment from the round member when the upper garment is pulled downward. Attached to the distal end of the flexible arm is a clamping member configured to temporarily grip the upper, front edge or the lapel of the upper garment. The flexible arm may be bent and twisted in three axes enabling the upper garment to be stretched and held with its two armholes open and oriented at different locations to accommodate the restricted arm and shoulder movements of different users.

Abstract: This invention involves a balance scale with a base, a balance arm support, a balance arm, a pointer, and a label plate containing descriptions. The balance arm has a tray on each end, where one tray holds an article representing mankind with sin, and the other tray holds an article representing the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. The articles on each tray are of equal or similar weight. The scale rotates when the weight of the articles are added to or removed from the trays, and the scale rotation will determine which description the pointer will point to. This invention can be used as a Christian teaching aid showing the benefit of choosing to accept the death of Christ as payment in full for our sins, along with showing the consequence of our refusal to accept the death of Christ as payment for our sins.

A window rack is formed from a plurality of slide members, a plurality of multi-directional connectors, and at least one spring-loaded coupler, wherein the plurality of slide members is attached to each other by the plurality of multi-directional connectors. Each of the at least one spring-loaded couplers is attached in between a specific connector from the plurality of multi-directional connectors and a corresponding slide member from the plurality of slide members. By compressing the at least one spring the window rack can be slid into a window frame, wherein the spring force holds the window rack in place. A window treatment support can be attached to the window rack for creating three dimensional window treatment arrangements.

Each delivery system can deliver a same or different cooking medium than the other, at the same or different performance characteristics, and in a different type of flow pattern.

Abstract: Within a brewing unit for a coffee machine, a brewing chamber, which is arranged in a pivotable brewing cylinder, can be filled with ground coffee powder by using a filling device. For the purpose of introducing the coffee powder, the brewing chamber has a filling opening. With the aim of avoiding undesired deposits of grounds in the region of the upper side of the brewing unit, and also of improving levels of hygiene, a projection extends in the filling direction outside the brewing chamber, wherein the projection is such that the exit region of the filling device is introduced with the formation of an interspace between the projection and a side wall of the exit region such that the projection substantially fully surrounds the exit opening of the exit region. Coffee powder supplied in the filling device drops from the exit opening of the exit region, directly through a through-opening of the projection and the filling opening, into the brewing chamber without striking against the projection.

Thus depending on which side of the multiple height platform is placed under the liquid dispenser the shelf and the vessel placed on it can be at 2 different heights. In one design there is an opening in the outer wall to allow a handle for the vessel to extend beyond the wall. Another variation of the multiple height platform the outer wall include a portion which is extendable to allow the variation in the size of the opening in the outer wall.

The device consists of three water/soap concentrate chambers, an air manifold and a central air diffuser tube. Water/soap concentrate flow is increased through the device from the entry chamber (first) thru the acceleration (second) chambers. Upon entering the deceleration (third) chamber, the water/soap concentrate perimeter is laced with pressurized air from the air manifold wrapping the acceleration chamber. At the same time, pressurized air is also diffused and embedded in the center of the water/soap concentrate flow via the air diffuser tube. As the accelerated water/soap concentrate enters the deceleration chamber, the flow is dramatically decreased.
