The system may further include a transmitter configured to transmit a heartbeat signal. The system may further include a receiver configured to receive an acknowledgment signal from a remote system in response to the transmitted heartbeat signal.

Abstract: A hybrid hydraulic excavator includes an engine, a generator motor, a capacitor, a cooling system being configured to cool the capacitor, and a controller. The cooling system includes a circulation mechanism being configured to circulate a cooling water, and a cooler being configured to cool the cooling water with output from the engine. The controller prohibits auto-stop of the engine when it is determined that the capacitor is overheated.

Abstract: A transmission requirement setting unit sets a required traction force in a work vehicle based on an accelerator operation amount. A work implement requirement setting unit sets a required flow rate based on a work implement operation amount. An engine requirement setting unit determines the horsepower required based on the horsepower required by the transmission set based on the required traction force and the horsepower required by the work implement set based on the required flow rate. A required throttle setting unit determines a commanded throttle value based on the horsepower required. A pump displacement setting unit sets a target displacement for the hydraulic pump based on the required flow rate. The work implement requirement setting unit sets an upper limit for the required flow rate to a prescribed flow rate limit value when the discharge pressure of the hydraulic pump is at or above a prescribed pressure threshold.

Abstract: A system for monitoring a machine at a work site includes a prime mover, a ground-engaging drive mechanism to propel the machine, and a plurality of sensors. A controller generates propulsion commands to propel the machine about the work site in an autonomous or semi-autonomous manner and determines a plurality of performance characteristics of the machine. The controller further determines whether the plurality of performance characteristics meet a plurality of performance thresholds and generates an alert command if any of the plurality of performance characteristics do not meet the plurality of performance thresholds.

Abstract: A spacer shim for locating between adjacent ground engaging tools of a work implement for an earth working machine includes a shim body, a shim upper protrusion, and a shim retention surface. The shim body includes a shim first leg and a shim second leg spaced apart to form a shim slot for receiving a lip of the work implement. The shim upper protrusion extends from the shim body and is adjacent to the shim first leg. The shim retention surface extends between the forward end and the shim upper protrusion and is configured to contact a bottom surface of a portion of an adjacent ground engaging tool.

Abstract: A system for harvesting rainwater for use in a skirt building. The skirt building includes a main building and a podium supporting the main building. The system includes: a standpipe; a buffer channel; a filter channel; and a green roof. The green roof includes a vegetation region including a baffled diversion corridor, and a bottom filtering layer including a drainage pipe. The standpipe is arranged on the main building and is connected to the buffer channel where the energy of rainwater flowing out of the standpipe is dissipated. The buffer channel, the filter channel, and the green roof are arranged on the podium, and the buffer channel communicates with the filter channel. The filter channel is connected to the green roof. The filter channel is divided into a plurality of sections respectively filled with different matrix materials.

A water line runs from the toilet's water source to the receptacle (2) for rinsing it and the conjoined waste-tube (11). Embodiments vary between the waste-tube (11) leading to the toilet bowl (12) or sewer-line (39), the manual or semi-automatic upright return of the arm (3), methods for securing the leg (4), and methods for controlling water dispersion to and in the receptacle (2) for rinsing.

Abstract: A storm water catch basin hazardous liquid valve that is automatically responsive to the presence of hazardous liquids in storm water run-off, the valve utilizing a hydrophobic barrier member to separate hazardous liquids from water. Collection of a sufficient amount of hazardous liquids across the hydrophobic barrier member initiates a float release member to seal off the catch basin. In the neutral or non-activated status, the storm water run-off enters the catch basin, passes through the valve assembly and out through the storm water conduit system in normal manner. When a hazardous liquid, such as oil, gasoline, chemicals, etc., is present in the storm water run-off above a threshold amount, the valve activates to close off the catch basin such that the storm water run-off is precluded from entering the storm water conduit system.

The tongue on the first end edge is inserted into a corresponding groove in the second end edge of an adjacent roof shingle.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide roofing boards and roofing systems having improved fire resistance properties and methods related to the same. According to one aspect, a roofing system is provided. The roofing system includes roofing panels positioned atop structural support members to form a roof deck. Roofing boards are positioned atop the roof deck and coupled thereto and a roofing membrane is positioned atop the roofing boards and coupled therewith. The roofing boards include a coating of a mineral based material applied to one or more surfaces in an amount between the range of about 0.10 lbs/ft2 and about 0.70 lbs/ft2. The mineral based material coating enables the roofing boards to pass the UL 790 class A tests, such as the burning brand test.

The module retrofits in the field by removing and replacing an existing fixed cam.
