Abstract: A telescoping handle assembly, a mobile device, and a method of assembling a telescoping handle assembly for a mobile device. The handle assembly may include a first handle section, and a second handle section telescopingly arranged relative to the first handle section. The handle assembly may further include a latch assembly fixed to one of the first handle section and the second handle section and selectively engageable with the other of the first handle section and the second handle section. The latch assembly may include a latch body positioned between the first handle section and the second handle section and a shock-absorbing mount positioned between the latch body and the one of the first handle section and the second handle section.

Abstract: Provided is a method for treating keratinous fibers comprising: applying steam to the keratinous fibers at a rate of less than 5 g/min; and shaping the keratinous fibers at a temperature of greater than 50° C., wherein the application of the steam and the shaping of the keratinous fibers do not occur simultaneously. The method disclosed herein may make it possible for example to obtain rapid shaping of the keratinous fibers while improving their cosmetic properties and the comfort of the user.

Abstract: Hair devices and methods which elongate curly hair by use of gravitational force, as the mass of the device weighs more than the hair section in order to transform curly hair into a wavy or straight coiffure. The device can be used as either a styling tool or an ornamental hair accessory that remains in the hair. The invented device is particularly advantageous for tightly coiled hair patterns of hair. The device can include a first and second curved metal form, each having a plurality of ventilation cut-outs and tab ends which allow each of the forms to attach to one another in an oval configuration, which can be wrapped about a hair bundle, or in which a hair bundle can be inserted therein. Concave curved recesses in the plates can allow for another pair of curved plates that forms a second oval shape to be attached to each other by pin type members.

Abstract: A device for dispensing a viscous fluent material from a pressurized container may include an inner cylindrical wall having a length and a radius and defining a central conduit. The inner cylindrical wall defines first and second circular openings at first and second ends of the central conduit respectively. The first opening may be adapted in size and shape to engage a hollow cylindrical valve stem from a pressurized dispenser of viscous fluent material. The second opening may be adapted to dispense said viscous fluent material. At least one extension may be affixed to the inner cylindrical wall and extend radially with respect to the cylindrical inner wall. The extension may be adapted to transmit finger and hand pressure to the inner cylindrical wall.

Abstract: In one embodiment there is provided a color palette, which is made of one body that comprises a plate, a plurality of first grooves and a peripheral wall. The plurality of first grooves is disposed on the plate, and the peripheral wall is connected to the plate. In the plurality of the first grooves, different colors of nail polish can be placed and mixed. This will resolve the issue presented by current nail polish palettes where different colors of adjacently placed polish are mixed easily.

This invention is a new type of container/applicator that allows a different application method than current industry standards, namely having a large enough application area to allow the product to be applied all at once to the desired area as opposed to having to spread the product onto the desired application area. In particular, an anti-wrinkle pad may include an anti-wrinkle portion and may have at least one characteristic to reduce an appearance of fine lines and/or wrinkles on a person's skin in an area around the person's chest, torso, neck, face, hands, backside, knees, etc. The anti-wrinkle pad may further include an adhesive substrate affixed to the lower surface of the anti-wrinkle portion and adapted to adhere the anti-wrinkle portion to the person's skin. Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are directed to a fixture and method for a fixture (referred to as a dump bin) displaying and holding objects for sale at a retail store. The dump bin is configured to have and adjustable grating that forms a support surface within the bin for holding items. Providing an adjustable grating allows the bin to be disposed over another fixture in the store to hide or obscure the a cash box storing components of a point-of-sale (POS) station while keeping the electronic components live and updated. The dump bin can be configured with a door to allow the bin to surround the pole and the cash box without having to remove the pole or lift the bin over the cash box. When the door is closed, a perimeter of the bin can surround the cash box and pole. When the dump bin is used independent of the cash box, the grating can be positioned within the bin so that the bin has a greater receiving volume to hold more merchandise.

Abstract: A system with devices for hanging picture frames, mirrors or the like comprising a wall member cooperating with a corresponding frame member being adjustable and securable. The devices are installed in pairs, one device on each side of the frame or like. The devices have two mating halves, the upper halves affixed to the frame and the lower halves attached to a wall or other vertical surface. The devices are placed on a wall be use of adhesive and then permanently attached by screws or like fasteners. The devices permit adjustment to height and alignment by set screws and flutes. The devices prevent accidental misalignment and mis-location after installation and impede unauthorized removal.
