Abstract: A feet position guidance aid for formulating individually formed thermoplastic insoles, shoes or shoe sole structures. The feet position guidance aid is made of flexible material and its upper surface includes guiding places for feet for guiding the position of the feet. The feet position guidance aid includes a lifter, wherein the lifter is a rising structure arranged to lift up and support the toes of the feet so that feet are guided to a position suitable for formulating the individually formed thermoplastic insole. An insole customizing arrangement for formulating individually formed thermoplastic insoles is also described.

Abstract: Aspects hereof relate to an apparatus and method for coupling a cemented upper to a sole of an article of footwear. Pairs of clamps secure a sole at a forefoot region and a heel region to prevent movement of a location of the sole upon application of a perimeter deforming force. Perimeter deforming implements apply such force to a bottom surface of the secured sole causing the perimeter of the top surface of the sole to splay open outwardly from the longitudinal axis of the sole. While the top surface of the perimeter is splayed, a cemented upper is caused to contact the top surface of the sole in a longitudinal direction from the heel end to the toe end. Once in place, the force on the bottom surface of the secured sole and the clamps is released leaving the top surface of the sole properly adhered to the upper.

Abstract: The invention described herein is a self-cleaning footwear system comprising a sole, where a plurality of check valves are located within said sole. The plurality of check valves are preferably configured between an upper sole and a lower sole to allow debris to flow downwards but not upwards. The plurality of check valves preferably further comprise flap assemblies, where a length of flexible material preferably further comprises a semi-circular flap on one end. The flexible material is preferably a rubber-type material. The sole could be attached to normal footwear, as shown in a sandal. Alternately, the sole could be attached to any type of footwear.

At least in a partial area of each of a forefoot portion and a rear foot portion on a medial side of a foot, the plurality of ridges and the longitudinal groove extend in a longitudinal direction or a diagonal longitudinal direction and are set so that an angle of the ridges and that of the longitudinal groove with respect to a long axis of the outsole are in a range of 0° to 35°. A ratio of a length of the tread surface of the ridges with respect to a width of the tread surface is set to be 1.8 to 200. The width of the tread surface of the ridges is set to be greater than a width of the longitudinal groove by a factor of 2 to 100.

In a closed position of the standing leg, a magnetic force between the standing leg and the soft protective cover is stronger than a tensile force of the spring to maintain the standing leg's closed position, and in the open position of the standing leg, the tensile force is stronger than the magnetic force to maintain the standing leg's open position. In the alternative embodiment, the case includes a kickstand which is secured between the soft protective cover and the hard protective frame.

Abstract: Described is a laser rangefinder holder that is used to couple a laser rangefinder to a solid surface so the laser rangefinder can be easily used during sporting activities. The laser rangefinder holder includes a rangefinder wrap and a buckle ring removeably coupled to the rangefinder wrap. The rangefinder wrap wraps around the laser rangefinder, using the buckle to couple the laser rangefinder holder to the laser rangefinder. One or more magnets coupled to the rangefinder wrap are used to removeably couple the laser rangefinder holder and the laser rangefinder held in the laser rangefinder holder to a metal surface.

Abstract: A hair retaining device comprising a rod with two elongate helical coils surrounding a portion of the rod. The coils are attached only at one end of the rod and are offset from one another by 180 degrees. In use, the end of the rod is slid through a desired hair style using a weaving motion to pick up small portions of the hair. Once the rod is in place, it is screwed into a user's hair and the hair strands are retained. To remove the device, the rod is unscrewed to loosen from the hair strands and the rod is then pulled out of user's hair.

Abstract: An adjustable harness is implemented by interweaving a cord throughout a woven portion of the harness to form a loop portion, an intermediate portion and an end portion. A length of the loop portion is selected by adjusting a length of the end portion. Once an appropriate length of the loop portion is selected, a locking mechanism attached to the intermediate portion ensures that the length of the loop portion remains fixed. A breakaway buckle may be attached to the adjustable harness and a carabiner may be attached to the breakaway buckle. In operation, a loop portion of the adjustable harness may be cinched down onto an accessory, such as a water bottle, and locked into place. A carabiner may then be attached to a user and the breakaway buckle may be used by the user to conveniently remove the accessory for use and then returned for storage.

Movement of the platform causes one or more bending portions of the cushion to bend. The chaise further comprises one or more cords, each extending through the cushion with a first end coupled to the cover material and a second end coupled to the platform. The cords are configured to pull on the cover material such that movement of the platform from the first position to the second position does not result in bunching of the cover material near the bending portions of the cushion.
