Abstract: A cage-type animal trap with two opposed animal access openings that can operate in a one-door-opening configuration or a two-door-opening configuration. The trap has a set mechanism for holding one or both doors open to allow access through the corresponding trap access openings. The set mechanism includes a set lever that is movable from a set position to a tripped position and that is coupled to the doors of the trap by an actuating member. Upon actuation, the set lever moves from the set to the tripped position to allow movement of the actuating member which enables one of the doors to move from an opened position to a closed position when the trap is operating in a one-door-opening configuration, and both of the doors to move from the opened position to the closed position when the trap is operating in the two-door-opening configuration.

Abstract: The invention concerns a method for prophylaxis of infections by fungi, particularly by oomycetes, and of bacterial infections in crop and ornamental plants. Areas of application are vine, fruit, vegetable and ornamental plant growing. The problem underlying the invention is that of developing a method for prophylaxis of infections by fungi, particularly by oomycetes, and of bacterial infections, particularly by downy mildew (Peronosporales) and Pseudomonas syringae, in vine and vegetable cultivation. Surprisingly it has been found that selected proteases, alone and in combination with complementary enzymes, effectively prevent the infection of plants by certain phytopathogenic organisms. The protected plant is not infected. Hence propagation of the pathogen within the plant stock is prevented.

Abstract: The method for a pesticide having an insecticide, acaricide and nematicide action is obtained from plant extracts that have important synergic interactions in pesticide activity. The characteristics of the pesticide are efficient control of insects, mites and nematodes, low toxicity for mammals and low persistence in the environment. This pesticide is a composition based on plant extracts containing isoquinoline alkaloids and their derivatives (0.1-20%) and flavonoids and their glycosylated derivatives (0.001-10%). Therefore, the field of the invention is generally organic pesticides and in particular to obtaining an organic pesticide which contains, as an active ingredient, a mixture of isoquinoline alkaloids and flavonoids to be used to control agricultural pests.

Abstract: Food preparation apparatus and associated methods. In one method, dough is proofed in an oven compartment and then baked in the same oven compartment. Temperature and/or humidity can be controlled during proofing and/or baking cycles. A blower may be used, for example, to exhaust gas to ambient to reduce heat and/or moisture in the compartment. For example, the blower may be used between proofing and baking cycles to prepare an environment in the oven compartment for the baking cycle.

Abstract: A household mixer appliance having a mixing container with an inner surface and an open top, a drive arrangement and a hook. The hook has a sole attachment portion which, when attached to the drive arrangement, abuts a first inner surface portion of the mixing container inner surface. The sole attachment portion is attachable to the drive arrangement via a through hole in the first inner surface portion such that the hook is rotatable around a substantially horizontal axis of rotation within the mixing container when the hook is attached to the drive arrangement.

Abstract: A rotary cylindrical mould member and a method for its production, is adapted to be used in a system for moulding three-dimensional products from a mass of one or more food starting materials which are suitable for consumption. The method includes preparing at least one mould body forming part of the cylindrical outer surface of the mould member, wherein one or more recessed mould cavities are formed. Subsequently preparing a support member defining one or more fluid channels, recessed in the support surface Heat emitting parts or particles are provided close to the inner surface of the mould body and/or the supporting surface of the support member. Energy is provided to the heat emitting parts or particles, thereby causing the parts or particles to emit heat and thereby locally melt the adjacent porous first plastic and the second plastic to obtain a weld and thereby secure the support member and the mould body to each other.
