Abstract: The present disclosure relates to aerosol delivery devices including a cartridge and a control body. The control body may include a coupler and the cartridge may include a base. The base may be configured to releasably engage the cartridge. Further the base and the coupler may include anti-rotation mechanisms configured to prevent rotation of the cartridge relative to the base when engaged with one another. The anti-rotation mechanisms may include alternating protrusions and recesses in some embodiments. Related methods are also provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and related methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for testing components of an aerosol delivery device. For example, a system for testing a control board for an aerosol delivery device may include a control board for an aerosol delivery device and a test apparatus. The test apparatus may provide a test initiation signal to the control board. The control board may execute an onboard diagnostic test to test operation of the control board in response to the test initiation signal. The control board may provide diagnostic information generated based on execution of the onboard diagnostic test to the test apparatus. The test apparatus may determine, based on the diagnostic information, whether the control board is faulty.

Abstract: An apparatus comprising a smokable material heater, configured to heat a first region of smokable material to a volatizing temperature sufficient to volatize a component of smokable material and to concurrently heat a second region of smokable material to a temperature lower than said volatizing temperature but which is sufficient to prevent condensation of volatized components of the smokable material. A method of heating smokable material is also described.

Abstract: An atomizer includes a housing assembly, an atomizing core, a lid, a liquid blocking cover, and an elastic element. The housing assembly defines a liquid chamber. The atomizing core is configured for atomizing the tobacco liquid. The lid is configured for sealing the liquid chamber, and is detachable from the housing assembly. The liquid blocking cover is movably arranged in the housing assembly. The elastic element elastically abuts against the liquid blocking cover. When the lid is connected with the liquid blocking cover, the lid is capable of driving the liquid blocking cover to move to a first position where the tobacco liquid in the liquid chamber can flow to the atomizing core. When the lid is detached from the housing assembly, the liquid blocking cover is driven by the elastic element to a second position where the atomizing core is isolated from the liquid chamber.

Abstract: A wrapping structure is provided by the present disclosure, including a wrapping material configured to wrap an active object. The wrapping material includes a detection layer configured to monitor a motion of the active object wrapped by the wrapping material and convert the motion of the active object into an electric signal. An amplitude value of the electric signal is in direct proportion to a range and a frequency of the motion of the active object. The detection layer determines that the active object feels uncomfortable and sends a detection processing instruction, in the case that the amplitude value of the electric signal is not corresponding to a predetermined threshold or a changing frequency of the electric signal is larger than a preset frequency.

Abstract: A jacket that is worn by a person walking a dog includes a main torso covering portion which can be closed to protect and provide warmth to the wearer's torso. A leash that can be utilized as a belt can be used to snuggly fit the jacket around the user's waist. The jacket also includes an exterior pocket that includes a roll of waste bags, typically in a roll. The exterior pocket includes an opening on the front surface of the pocket where a grommet is typically attached around the perimeter of the opening. The bag is pulled through the opening in the grommet to gain access to the bag. The lead bag is removed from the roll along the perforation separating the bags such that the walker can manually remove a bag from the pocket and tear the first bag away from the following bag while leaving the following bag in a position that is easily gripped for the next required cleaning.

The adaptable protective garment broadly includes an outer garment layer, an inner garment layer, and exposed indicia. The outer garment layer covers the sensitive portion when the garment is donned. At least one of the garment layers defines an interior pocket that is covered by the outer garment layer when the garment is donned so as to be hidden from view. The exposed indicia is secured to the exterior surface of the outer garment layer and is viewable when the garment is donned. The exposed indicia is located adjacent the interior pocket to visibly identify the location of the interior pocket along the exterior surface.

The baffle has two or more sides that are secured to the gown and two or more sides that are not secured to the gown. Warm air entering the gown through the warm-air receiving orifice can readily pass through the sides that are not secured to the gown while the warm air entering the gown is largely impeded from passing through the sides that are secured to the gown.

The device has a length gauge to allow proper length of the necktie to be achieved, while also having a removably secured section for threading, wrapping and tying the necktie to effect a perfect knot. Elements of the retractable gauge cooperate to also provide the means for releasably securing the device to the necktie. In a related method, the device is used in a one-handed method for tying a necktie.

Abstract: A composite shoe sole having an outsole which is made of rubber, plastic or thermoplastic rubber (TPR), and a plurality of small pieces of fabrics filled inside the outsole; the outsole and the plurality of small pieces of fabrics are injection-molded and integrally formed. A method of making the composite shoe sole is also disclosed. The composite shoe sole allows the shoe sole to have good flex resistance when flexed thanks to the small pieces of fabrics filled inside the outsole. The small pieces of fabrics also provide good puncture resistance to the shoe sole, thus increasing the usage life of the shoe sole. Also, the shoe sole is lighter and cost is reduced. When transparent material is used for making the outsole, the small pieces of fabrics inside the outsole can render the whole shoe sole a visual effect different from conventional shoe soles.
