Abstract: Disclosed herein are capsule cosmetics and a manufacturing method thereof. This invention uses a one-piece type capsule container. After a liquid cosmetic material and a porous impregnation member are put into the container to manufacture cosmetics, the container is sealed by a sealing member, so that the porous impregnation member is naturally impregnated with the liquid cosmetic material. This allows the loading or impregnation of the liquid cosmetic material to be rapidly, easily, and simply realized, thus reducing manufacturing cost of the capsule cosmetics. As a result, this invention can afford inexpensive and high-quality products to consumers.

The area between the pad casing section and the substantially flat section comprises a hollow, tapering transition area. The unitary strap member comprises at least one sealable opening at an end of the unitary strap member. The inserted pad is inserted through the sealable opening and retained in the pad casing section, and the pad is comprised of at least one outer layer of resilient, low-friction material and a cushioning layer.

Abstract: A method for producing a toothbrush comprises providing a head, a neck portion, and a handle; providing a coupling element; and combining the neck portion to the handle by the coupling element so that an irreversible connection is formed. The individual parts of the toothbrush to be formed can be produced in parallel or successively, wherein some of the parts can be produced by injection molding. A toothbrush formed by the method comprises a head, a neck portion, and a handle; these elements can be produced as building blocks separately and may be connected to one another via a coupling element to form an inseparable connection.

Abstract: In one example, we describe a method and system for facial brush or body brush, for cleaning the skin. In one example, it utilizes distinct parts: a powered facial brush handle with the ability of offering both an oscillating and rotary setting, removable brush heads of varying materials and compositions, and a charging base station with a protective germicidal UVC sanitizing and drying chamber. User convenience is also central to our solution. All the functional actions of the protective germicidal UVC sanitizing and heating chamber are activated once the brush handle and brush head is placed within it, in one example. Mode control allows the user to choose the right setting for them, offering a mild setting for sensitive skin and normal for balanced skin types. A set duration of brush activation allows the user to orchestrate a complete cleaning. Various examples and variations are presented.

Abstract: The invention discloses a pedestal apparatus for an article of furniture. The pedestal apparatus has an elongate post formation defining a first end and a second end and having a longitudinal axis. The post formation immovably supports a fixed foot arrangement and also movably supports a variable foot arrangement. The variable foot arrangement is selectively movable along and around the longitudinal axis for varying a longitudinal and angular proximity between the variable foot arrangement and the fixed foot arrangement. Biasing means are provided for controlling movement of the variable foot arrangement whereby, in use, the biasing means causes both the fixed foot arrangement and the variable foot arrangement to abut an underlying surface and thereby provide a substantial stabilization of the pedestal apparatus.

A support structure is provided for supporting a work surface, the support structure comprising a frame defining an interior space, a frame brace receivable into the interior space of the frame, a support for supporting the work surface, and at least one fastening mechanism for extending between the frame brace and the support to clamp the frame therebetween, thereby securing the support about the frame. A gas-releasing pin is disposed at the end of the extensible rod, and the pneumatic rod received in the vertically-movable inner-pipe. The top of the pneumatic rod is pivotally fixed to the top of the vertically-movable inner-pipe, allowing another end of the pneumatic rod to connect with a connector pivotally fixed to the bottom-base. A slide control-key is disposed at the keyboard-supporting plate and connected to a control-cable which is pulled and released to press on and release the gas-releasing pin.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include an apparatus for positioning an electronic display. The apparatus can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases the apparatus includes amounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including for example, a sitting position and a standing position. Methods for positioning an electronic display and a keyboard are also included.

Abstract: A shelving system includes a plurality of shelf members and a plurality of supports configured to support the shelf members. The shelving system further includes a plurality of end caps. Each of the end caps has at least one sleeve with a slot formed therein for receiving an end of one of the shelf members and a plurality of retaining features. Each retaining feature has an inner surface defining a cavity for receiving an end of one of the supports.

Abstract: A sleeve for a shelving unit has two halves joined together to form two support tabs extending outward from opposing sides of the sleeve as the sleeve clamps around a post having grooves into which a rib on the sleeve fits to hold the parts relative to the post. The support tabs have a retaining flange offset from the sleeve. A first collar part fastened to a shelf fits over half the sleeve and fits into that offset so that a slot in the first collar part fits over one of the support tabs to clamp them to the post and support the first collar part and shelf. The retaining flange keeps the collar part from moving off the support tab. A second collar part with a second slot may fit over the other support tabs to support a second shelf or to further clamp the sleeve to the post.

Abstract: A seating system with an elastically moveable backrest capable of being arranged in different configurations in a settee area of a bowling center is disclosed. The seating system includes a configurable seating arrangement including at least one bench seat configured to accommodate one or more users and a respective number of elastically moveable backrests for each of the one or more users. The configurable seating arrangement further includes a bracket assembly which attaches the respective number of elastically moveable backrests to the at least one bench seat.

Abstract: A drive device for a moveable furniture part including an ejection element, an ejection force accumulator, and a locking device for the ejection element. The locking device includes a locking journal which is subjected to force of the ejection force accumulator and can be locked in a locked position in a latch region of a guide track. The guide track is shaped like a curved heart and has a tightening section in which the locking journal can be moved when the ejection force accumulator is tightened, and a latching movement section of the locking journal prior to reaching the locked position in the latch region. The locking journal impinged upon by the tightened ejection force accumulator can be slowed down and/or dampened in the latching movement section and can be placed in the latch region.

Abstract: The present invention provides a drawer stop mechanism for a sliding drawer, and the drawer stop mechanism is assembled on a drawer panel of the sliding drawer. The drawer stop mechanism includes an upper decoration strip, a lower decoration strip, at least one spring and at least one lock hook. The upper decoration strip is fixed on the drawer panel. The lower decoration strip is movably connected with the upper decoration strip by a pivot. The at least one spring is mounted between the upper decoration strip and the lower decoration strip. The at least one lock hook is fixed at the lower decoration strip. The drawer stop mechanism provided by the present invention has a simple structure, is easy to use and can lock the drawer perfectly.

The back shelf section is adjustable in length to substantially match the width of the space in which the shelving system is to be installed. The adjustable shelving system includes support risers for self-supporting the shelving system above a surface. The adjustable shelf can be easily installed into a variety of cabinets, and allows access to small containers, such as those for herbs and spices.

When the user applies a force to the seating by shifting his or her center of gravity, the backrest and/or seat/bed portions of the seating/furniture move in response to the force to recline or adjust the seating/furniture or accessories. The user can return the seating to an upright position by again shifting his or her center of gravity. The angle of the backrest and/or seat/bed portions can vary relative to the ground as the user moves. Continuously varying the angle of both the backrest and seat/bed portions of the seating/furniture or accessories relative to the ground may improve a user's seating comfort, for example, by decreasing or negating the user's need to shift position on the seat when reclined or continuously responding the user's shift in position.

Abstract: A chair, according to the present invention has an inverted pyramidal shape primarily determined by triangular side and back frames of the chair. The frames include two side frames and a back frame and preferably a smaller front frame. Each side frame is secured to a central portion of a pedestal type base and extends upwardly and outwardly from the base. Each frame adjacent an upper edge is mechanically secured to an adjacent frame with the frames cooperating to form a ‘U’ shape generally at the height corresponding to side arms of the chair. A support seat is provided in the frames and the side frames define arms of the chair. A back support is secured to the back frame at a position intermediate the height of the back support with a lower edge of said back support joining with a rear edge of the support seat. The side frames and back frame between said seat and an upper edge of the frames are of a triangular or truncated triangular shape.

The actuators are capable of altering contour and/or firmness, of a support surface, they may be vibrational or heating/cooling in nature, and they may also alter the overall relative position of a support surface to another support surface, and/or to the ground plane.

Abstract: An automated reflective device for monitoring a baby in a bassinet enables viewing the interior of a bassinet, such as a baby, from an outside vantage point. A clamp detachably attaches the device to a mounting surface on the bassinet. The device includes a reflector that is oriented in a horizontal, vertical, swiveling, and telescoping direction to provide an optimal line of site into the bassinet. The reflector has a housing and a reflective panel made of a non-glass substrate overlaid with a reflective coating. The reflective panel is oriented in relation to the bassinet, so as to reflect the interior contents of the bassinet from an external vantage point. A motor powers an actuator in the housing. The actuator adjustably moves the reflector. An LED illuminates a cool-white light inside the bassinet and on the reflective surface for enhanced viewing. A remote control operates the actuator and LED.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for a pre-term infant mattress having a plurality of upstanding air chambers connected together pneumatically which air chambers generally surround the infant except for an open area above the head of the infant. Taller outer air chambers constrain the infant laterally wherein shorter inner air chambers provide a womb-like area on the sides of the infant. The air chambers are disposed on a pad having an inner central area with no air chamber to accommodate x-rays of the infant. An air tube is provided for supplying air to the individual air chambers having an air valve for adjusting the air pressure within the air mattress.

Abstract: A system for dispensing, receiving, and tracking towels or other items includes a cabinet structure having first and second interior spaces. An access door provides access to the first interior space, and a return door permits items to be returned to the second interior space. An RFID system conducts read operations to determine how many items having RFID tags are disposed in the first and second interior spaces. The system determines what items have been removed from the first interior space, and associates removed items with specific users. The RFID system conducts read operations as items are returned to the second interior space and credits the user.

Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment, I presently contemplate a cruciform support base (20), semi-circular dial (10), and concentric semi-circular brace (16) that work together to support the corner of a record and/or planar article. The dial (10) and brace (16) are fastened to the support base (20) and machined in such a way that they form a simple, economical, and adaptable mechanical unit (24). Once paired with a minimum number of units, and mounted to a wall, they cooperate to display any number of records, planar articles, and/or combination thereof in an attractive, tight, grid-like configuration. Furthermore, the design of this system also allows for any one record and/or planar article to be easily retrieved or stored with the swipe of a finger.

Abstract: A combined belt and necktie rack described herein hangs belts via pegs through holes in their leather straps rather than by the buckles. If the pegs are made from small-diameter, rigid materials the belts can effortlessly be slid onto the pegs through a hole in the strap. The pegs easily support the belts' weight, and if the pegs are long enough, they will accommodate neckties being draped over the pegs as well. The end of each peg may be bent horizontally at a right angle to the rest of the peg, for the belt to be hung. In this fashion, belts and neckties are parallel to each other and lay flat against each other, rather than a space-consuming perpendicular arrangement. The pegs may be coupled to a frame piece which may thereafter use mounting blocks to either statically or dynamically couple the frame piece and corresponding pegs to a structure.

An outside wall of the stage is nested in the top of the side wall of the lower steam rack. A rack bottom for holding food is put on the inner side of the stage. The bottom of the recess arranges a water storage pool. A through slot and a jack are disposed on the base. The through slot communicates the water storage pool and the jack. The jack connects a water tank. The outlet of the water tank orientates downwards to communicate with the jack.
