  • Patent number: 9721039
Abstract: A relationship visualization system displays contextual information for a relationship between two entities of a document management system, such as for a user and a document. The system can receive a request for a relationship visualization from a user, such that the request indicates the user and a document. Then, the system determines, from a multipartite graph, a set of relationship paths coupling entity nodes that correspond to the user and the document. A relationship path can include one or more entity nodes indicating contextual information for the relationship between the user and the document. Then, the system selects a first group of entity nodes from the set of relationship paths to represent the relationship between the user and the document. The system then provides a relationship visualization that displays contextual information from the first group of entity nodes to illustrate the relationship between the user and the document.

  • Patent number: 9721055
Abstract: An optimized measurement model is determined based a model of parameter variations across a semiconductor wafer. A global, cross-wafer model characterizes a structural parameter as a function of location on the wafer. A measurement model is optimized by constraining the measurement model with the cross-wafer model of process variations. In some examples, the cross-wafer model is itself a parameterized model. However, the cross-wafer model characterizes the values of a structural parameter at any location on the wafer with far fewer parameters than a measurement model that treats the structural parameter as unknown at every location. In some examples, the cross-wafer model gives rise to constraints among unknown structural parameter values based on location on the wafer. In one example, the cross-wafer model relates the values of structural parameters associated with groups of measurement sites based on their location on the wafer.

  • Patent number: 9721056
Abstract: A method for designing an integrated circuit (IC) includes, in part, dividing the wires disposed in the IC into a multitude of segments each having a length extending from a first end point to a second end point. Each segment is then widened without overlapping any adjacent object. As an example, an intermediate, or expanded, segment is formed that includes the first and the second end points and has a size to overlap with an adjacent object. The method includes identifying regions in the adjacent objects that overlap with the expanded segment. For each of the identified regions, an expanded region is formed, which has a shape and size to enclose the identified object with additional spacing around the perimeter. Next, the size of the expanded segment is reduced to form the wide segment such that the wide segment does not overlap any of the adjacent expanded objects.

  • Patent number: 9721057
Abstract: A system and method for netlist clock domain crossing verification leverages RTL clock domain crossing (CDC) verification data and results. The netlist clock domain crossing verification system (NCDC) migrates RTL-level constraints and waivers to the netlist design so that the user does not have to re-enter them. The NCDC checks the netlist and generates a report that compares RTL-level CDC checking results to the netlist-level CDC checking results to make it easy to see new issues. The NCDC receives and stores netlist corrections from user input or automatically corrects certain CDC violations, in the netlist.

  • Patent number: 9721058
Abstract: A system and method use reactive initialization to facilitate formal verification of an electronic logic design. The system verifies that a part of the logic design correctly transitions through a sequence of states by automatically assigning an initial state value. The system interacts with a correction-unit to provide meaningful feedback of verification failures, making it possible for the correction-unit to correct the failures or add new constraints that allow the verification to complete. Assigning an initial state simplifies the verification of the validity of the remaining states in the sequence, thus making it more likely to reach a conclusive result and consuming less computing resources.

Abstract: Disclosed are integrated circuit (IC) design methods, systems and computer program products. During IC design, an electrical netlist with built-in electrical resistance elements (i.e., electrical resistors) is extracted based on an IC design layout. A thermal netlist with built-in thermal resistance elements (i.e., thermal resistors) is automatically extracted based on the electrical netlist. This thermal netlist identifies thermal resistors, external thermal nodes and internal thermal node(s) and does so such that there is one-to-one mapping of the thermal resistors to electrical resistors in the electrical netlist, one-to-one mapping of the external thermal nodes to input, output and power supply nodes in the electrical netlist and one-to-one mapping of the internal thermal node(s) to element(s) (e.g., library and/or customized elements) in the electrical netlist.

The ACR system, using control circuitry, receives a portion of a media asset, determines a content signature for the portion of the media asset based on audio or visual information presented in the media asset, cross-references the content signature with a database listing a plurality of reference signatures that adhere to a criterion set by a content provider, determines whether the portion adheres to the criterion, and automatically notifies the content provider in response to determining that the portion does not adhere to the criterion. The ACR system includes storage circuitry to store the database.

Abstract: The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a method that includes receiving, by one or more servers associated with an application marketplace, a policy that includes data that identifies one or more users, and a restricted permission. A request is received, by the servers associated with the application marketplace, to access one or more applications that are distributed through the application marketplace, wherein the request includes data that identifies a particular one of the users. One or more of the applications that are associated with the restricted permission are identified by the servers associated with the application marketplace, and access by the particular user to the applications that are associated with the restricted permission is restricted by the servers associated with the application marketplace.

  • Patent number: 9721075
Abstract: Method for processing data, in which a Petri net is encoded, written into a memory and read and executed by at least one instance, wherein transitions of the Petri net read from at least one tape and/or write on at least one tape symbols or symbol strings, with the aid of at least one head. [Fig 1]. In an alternative, data-processing, co-operating nets are composed, the composition result is encoded, written into a memory and read and executed from the memory by at least one instance. In doing this, components can have cryptological functions. The data-processing nets can receive and process second data from a cryptological function which is executed in a protected manner. The invention enables processing of data which prevents semantic analysis of laid-open, possibly few processing steps and which can produce a linkage of the processing steps with a hardware which is difficult to isolate.

  • Patent number: 9721079
Abstract: Verifying the identity of a person claiming to be represented by a picture by way of providing a string of text (randomly generated or generated by another person seeking verification of same) to be recited by the claimant. The string of text is recited in a video which is received by an intermediary server at a network node, or by a person seeking such verification. Automated processes may be utilized to compare the audio and video received to the picture and string of text sent. Further, comparisons to previously received audio, video, and strings of text, as well as the same available from third parties, may be used to determine fraud attempts. Viewers of the person's profile may also vote on the authenticity of a profile, thereby raising or lowering a certification confidence level, with their votes weighted more heavily towards those who have high confidence levels.

  • Patent number: 9721080
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for providing a computer-based test to be taken at a computer. A determination is made as to whether a geolocation of the computer is within an approved geolocation range. A determination is made as to whether a time at which the computer-based test is to be provided to the computer is within an approved time range. A hardware profile of the testing center is compared to an expected hardware profile of the testing center. Biometric data of a test center administrator is compared to expected biometric data of the test center administrator, and a confidence score is modified based on results of the comparison. If the confidence score meets or exceeds a threshold, the computer-based test is provided to the computer over a network. If the confidence score is less than the threshold, the computer-based test is prevented from being provided to the computer.

  • Patent number: 9721081
Abstract: In physical token-less security screening using biometrics, a person provides biometric data to a security computing device as part of a security screening. The biometric data is used by the security computing device to look up an identifier (such as an airline account identifier or a security status identifier) for the person from a security back end. The identifier is used by the security computing device to obtain electronic pass information (such as an electronic boarding pass or a security screening status indicator) from a third party computing system (such as an airline computing system or a clearinghouse), which may be used to clear the person and/or otherwise facilitate the security screening. In some implementations, these techniques may also be used for physical token-less pass processing (such as boarding pass-less airline processing, confirmation of assigned traveling credentials, or determination of security protocols).
