Abstract: A code book is generated for mapping source to target code words which allows encoding source data at reduced probability of incorrect decoding, e.g. for DNA storage. The target code words are grouped (102) into subsets and comprise identifying and remaining portions. The identifying portions of target code words corresponding to a same subset are identical. A first code symbol set of source code words is selected (103) for addressing the subsets. For the subsets, neighboring subsets are determined (104). In an embodiment, the graph of nodes is generated based on the determined relatedness of the entities. A node in the graph of nodes represents an entity, and nodes representing entities with known results are assigned those results as their respective node values. The assigned node values are then propagated between the neighboring nodes throughout the graph of nodes in the amount determined by the relatedness of the nodes. Based on the propagation, node values for entities with unknown results are determined and represent the predicted results for those entities. Abstract: Events may be identified by storing information in response to activating an event stamp function. As a result of activating the event function, the information collected may immediately be compared to event information in a database. Alternatively, the information collected may later be compared to event information in a database. One or more candidates for the event of interest may be automatically or manually retrieved, and the user may decide whether a candidate event of the one or more candidates correspond to the event of interest. Alternatively, a purchase of an item related to the event may be automatically made in response to activating the event stamp.

Abstract: A method and apparatus receive an input indicating system service requirements. A repository is searched based upon the system service requirements to identify a solution model, the solution model comprising a framework of functional elements for the system service requirements. Criteria regarding the identified functional elements are received, and archetype and archetype products are identified based on the functional elements and the criteria. A system blueprint is generated comprising the archetype. products. The primary system blueprint comprises an application model and an infrastructure model, wherein the application model comprises a listing of archetype products and configuration settings for each archetype product and wherein the infrastructure model comprises specifications for an infrastructure connecting the archetype products.

An electronic scanning device scans products stored at the retail sales facility and communicates with an electronic inventory management device. The electronic inventory management device is configured to determine, based on at least electronic data obtained during a scan of the products stored at the retail sales facility via the electronic scanning device, a physical size of each of the scanned products and a sequential order of the scanning of the products. The electronic inventory management device can then estimate, based on at least a correlation of the physical size of each of the scanned products and the sequential order of the scanning of the products, a physical location of the scanned products relative to one another.
