In one or more embodiments, the breathing tube retainer can include a mask attachment portion configured to connect the retainer to a face mask of a respirator, and a tube attachment portion including an arm that connects the tube attachment portion to the mask attachment portion.

Abstract: A closing device is provided for a container of a respirator with two container shells (2, 2?) joining each other at front surfaces, with at least one tightening strap (4), which encloses a part of a container shell outer surface located at right angles to the front surfaces. Two holding elements (5, 5?) are each provided with a recess (6, 6?) and are formed at the free ends of the tightening strap (4). A closing element (7) is formed in a U-shaped pattern with two legs (8) and meshes with each recess (6, 6?) of the holding elements (5, 5?). The legs (8) of the closing element (7) can be pulled out of the recess (6, 6?) of the holding elements (5, 5?) to take off the tightening strap (4).

Abstract: An apparatus and methods for air filtration are disclosed. The apparatus includes a body and first and second replaceable filters. The body of the apparatus further contains an air-exchange assembly and a filter receiver attached to the air exchange assembly. The air-exchange assembly contains an exhaust tube with an open end and a closed end, two wings on opposite sides of the exhaust tube, and an intake check valve and an exhaust check valve inside the exhaust tube. The first replaceable filter surrounds the filter receiver; and the second replaceable filter is inside the filter receiver. Several apertures and the check valves are strategically disposed in the exhaust tube to achieve optimal air filtration and avoid contamination of a user's exhaust.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a filtering face-piece respirator and a method of making such respirator are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, the filtering face-piece respirator includes a mask body and a harness attached to the mask body. The mask body includes a corrugated filtering structure including peaks separated by valleys, and bridging filaments that are in discontinuous contact with at least one of an interior surface and an exterior surface of the corrugated filtering structure. The bridging filaments are attached to at least some of the peaks.

Abstract: A line retraction device includes a rotatable drum having a line associated therewith, with the line including a first end directly or indirectly attached to the drum and a second end opposite the first end, and at least one retraction member biasing the drum in a first rotational direction of the drum opposite a second rotational direction of the drum, where the drum is configured to: (i) retract the line when the drum moves in the first rotational direction; and (ii) payout the line when the drum moves in the second rotational direction. The device further including a damper assembly configured to provide rotational resistance to the drum in: (i) the first rotational direction of the drum as the line is being retracted; and (ii) the second rotational direction as the line is being paid out.

Abstract: An open framework warehouse storage rack system for supporting articles on multi-tiered shelves within the wetting zone of an overhead fire sprinkler system. The storage rack system comprises one or more a longitudinally extending rack arrays. A falling water collection system is combined with some or all of the rack arrays. The falling water collection system includes any one of several water handling features that enhance the wetting of storage articles during a fire. One such feature is a scoop-like longitudinal water catcher that protrudes outwardly beyond the front and/or rear faces of the rack array. Another is a transverse intra-stanchion water diverter. Another is a transverse mid-span water diverter. Another is a gutter formed integrally in an uppermost beam. And another is a vertical flue catcher. The falling water collection system maximizes the amount of water that is applied directly to a fire inside the rack array.

Abstract: The invention relates to a test unit for simulating fires, formed on the basis of an enclosure (1) in the form of a closed compartment with a floor, walls and ceiling made from reinforced concrete parts, which has an access area (2) located at one end of the enclosure (1), a central area (3) with side doors (4) and provided with an outflow passage (5) and one or more deflectors (6) for controlling the air and smoke, and a furnace area (7) covered in refractive material with a cleaning door (8) located at the opposite end of the enclosure (1). Said enclosure (1) incorporates temperature and smoke level probes (13), and all the electrical elements and probes (13) of the enclosure (1) are connected to a control panel (26) connected to a computer (28) that collects all the data supplied by such elements.

The resistance band assembly includes a housing having a first end, a second end, and a longitudinal axis extending therebetween. A bore is defined in the housing and a connector is provided in the bore. The connector includes first and second surfaces and a hole is defined in the connector and extends between the surfaces. A disc is also provided in the bore and also has a first and second surface. An aperture is defined in the disc and extends between the first and second surfaces thereof. A first and second resilient member is provided and these resilient members are selectively engageable with the resistance band assembly to provide a first resistive force during the performance of an exercise.

Abstract: A garment for increasing resistance to a wearer's body, the garment having a first portion with a fabric of a first resistance characteristic operable to stretch to conform with movement of the wearer's body and at least one second portion of a fabric having a second resistance characteristic, where the second portion conforms to an associated specific body area of the wearer's body such as a muscle or muscle group. Abstract: An exercise support machine configured to support at least a portion of a user's weight is provided. The exercise support machine can include a frame portion having a plurality of frame members defining an interior region of the machine. The machine can further include two vertical support members extending upward from the frame portion and a lever arm pivotally connected to the upper ends of the vertical support members. The lever arm can include a seat connected to a first end of the lever arm and positioned within the interior region of the machine. The machine can further include a lifting mechanism connected to the frame portion and the second end of the lever arm. The lifting mechanism can control the vertical movement of the seat to provide weight bearing support for the user of the machine.

Abstract: A stepper exercise machine is provided. When a pedal is pedaled by a user, a drive gear is rotated forward or rearward. One end of a link is rotated about a drive rod, and a turning lever connected to the other end of the link is confined by a second accommodation trough of the pedal, so that the link brings the pedal to move in the up-down direction and the front-rear direction. In cooperation with a shaft which is fixed, a sleeve is rotatable relative to the shaft. When the pedal is driven, a first accommodation space provides a space for the pedal to move in the front-rear direction. By means of the action of two flywheels to provide an acceleration effect, the rotation of the drive gear is to speed up, so that the user can reduce the force exerted to the pedal.

The exercise device has a pair of linkages, each including an upper link pivotally mounted to a frame and a lower link pivotally coupled to an upper link. Separate torque elements are operably coupled to the frame and each lower link via a transfer member for independently resisting movement of the associated lower link.

A stretch exercise tool provided with a stretching part the upper face of which projects into a crest type along the longitudinal direction and on which a user's body is placed with facing upward and extended, wherein the stretching part is configured of multiple body-supporting ribs in the width direction, said ribs being disposed along the longitudinal direction. According to this configuration, when the user's body is placed on the stretching part, a force in the longitudinal direction, said force acting to topically extend the body, is applied to the body at each interval among the ribs. Thus, the body can be uniformly extended compared with the conventional configurations.

Abstract: An aiming system that provides feedback on how closely the aim of an object is aligned with a direction to a target. An inertial sensor on the object provides data on the object's position and orientation; this data is combined with target direction information to determine how to correct the aim. An illustrative application is a golf club aiming system that measures whether the clubface normal is aligned horizontally with the direction to the hole. The system sends feedback signals to the user to help the user adjust the aim. These signals may include for example audible tones or haptic vibrations that vary in frequency and amplitude to instruct the user to adjust the aim. For example, haptic signals may be sent to a smart watch worn by the user; the user may therefore obtain aiming feedback without having to look at a screen.

Abstract: Described herein include various implementations of a ball funneling net that can capture sport balls, such as baseballs, directed into the ball funneling net. The ball funneling net can include a ball directing feature, such as a funnel, and a releasable restraining element that controls the sport balls from being released from the ball capturing net, such as from a distal dispensing end. In some implementations, a user can pick up a part of the ball directing feature and release the releasable restraining element thereby allowing any sport balls captured in the ball capturing net to exit the distal dispensing end. For example, the ball funneling net described herein can improve training efficiency in sports, such as baseball and softball, as well as reduce damage to equipment and improve user experience.

More specifically, the present invention discloses a golf club head where at least a portion of the frontal striking surface of the face is detachable and replaceable to improve performance. The replaceable striking face may be connected to the body of the golf club head using at least one screw engaging at least one screw well and said at least one screw receptacle. A golf club in accordance with the present invention may generally have a thinned striking face with a thickness of less than about 3.0 mm yielding a golf club head with a larger sweet spot that's greater than 6% of the frontal striking surface.

The elongated channel is recessed from the sole surface and toe surfaces and is spaced from the leading and toe edges of the face. Abstract: Methods for fabricating a 3D woven material and exemplary 3D woven material for sporting implements are disclosed. The exemplary weaves can be incorporated into any sporting implements, such as, baseball bats, lacrosse sticks, hockey sticks, rackets, helmets, and other protective equipment. The example sporting implement can be constructed, partially or entirely, with a woven or braided three dimensional structure. The 3D woven material can be a multi-directional layup having tows oriented in three directions (X, Y and Z) and also at any angle created by the combination of two or three directions. A single woven preform can be formed that can have a near net shape of the formed product, with the fibers oriented in a way that will be optimal for the particular application.

Abstract: Disclosed is system and method for measuring the tension of a tennis net, and, alternatively or in addition, for determining if a service let occurs via the measuring of the net tension. The disclosed embodiments measure a force exerted on the center-strap or the singles stick by the net. In these embodiments, the measured force provides an accurate reflection of the tension of the net.

The first and the second ends of a strap are threaded through the front hole set thus forming a loop and then threaded through the back hole set. The strap ends are threaded through the holes on the tab. A hook is positioned on the loop. The tab includes a hole for the hook and two pair of tab holes for the strap. Abstract: The present invention discloses a pitcher training device having an outer tube and a telescopically displaceable inner tube. A ball is secured to a projecting end of the inner tube. The user grips the outer tube with a non-throwing hand and concurrently grips the ball with a throwing hand. A forward throwing and release motion is then exerted upon the ball, concurrent with rotation of the outer tube, causing the ball and inner tube to outwardly displace relative to the outer tube.

Abstract: An ice skating training system including an ice skating training system to allow a user to train and practice ice skating skills. The ice skating training assembly includes a treadmill assembly and a harness assembly.
