Abstract: An electronic cigarette, and a battery rod and an atomizer thereof are provided in the present application. The battery rod includes a battery rod body, and an air passage of the battery rod body is provided with a waterproof breathable component which cooperates with the air passage and is configured to prevent water from entering into the battery rod body via the air passage, and the atomizer includes an atomizer body, a smoke passage of the atomizer body is provided with a waterproof breathable component which cooperates with the smoke passage and is configured to prevent water from entering into the atomizer body via the smoke passage. Besides of ensuring the breathability of both the air passage and the smoke passage, the waterproof breathable component may also prevent external liquid from entering into the battery rod and the atomizer, thus the waterproof performance of the electronic cigarette is improved.

The heating wires are disposed inside the atomization assembly. The cigarette holder assembly is connected to the fixing seat assembly in the manner of plugging. The glass housing is connected to a middle support via a fixing jaw. The atomization assembly is assembled with the gas flow control assembly using screw threads to form an integrated structure, and the integrated structure of the atomization assembly and the gas flow control assembly is then assembled with the fixing seat assembly.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to various embodiments of an adjustable bra, or sports bra. The bra includes a front portion, side portions and a rear portion. Two straps extend between the front portion and the rear portion. The bra further includes a chest band which extends about its lower perimeter. The bra additionally includes a corset mechanism. The various embodiments of the bra disclosed herein are adjustable in at least four ways to suit any size and any activity. First, the wearer may adjust the diameter of the chest band. Second, the wearer may adjust the length of the straps. Third, the wearer may adjust the position of the straps (i.e., whether crossed). Finally, the user may adjust the corset mechanism to vary compressive forces on the breasts. In various embodiments, each of these adjustments is made from the front of bra and without requiring removal.

Cup panels are provided on the front portion and extend to the straps. Each cup panel includes a perimeter cup region and a central cup region located on the front portion and a strap region located on one of the straps. The perimeter cup region and the strap region having a greater elastic modulus than the central cup region. In at least one embodiment, each cup panel includes a first layer and a second layer. The second layer is provided by a polymer sheet including a plurality of openings formed in the polymer sheet. The arrangement of the openings on the polymer sheet contributes to the elastic modulus in the central cup region, the perimeter cup region, and the strap region of the cup panel.

The alarm assembly comprises alarm circuitry, a wound dressing configured to releasably attach to the patient that includes at least one actuator, and a sensor holder. The sensor holder is configured to be releasably coupled to the tube and includes at least one sensor. The at least one sensor is configured to transmit a signal to the alarm circuitry when the at least one actuator actuates the at least one sensor, and the alarm circuitry is configured to produce an alert in response to receiving the signal. The invention also includes a method of detecting a tube dislodging from a patient, as well as a kit comprising a tube, alarm circuitry, a wound dressing, and a sensor holder.

Abstract: A flexible, fibrous energy managing composite panel includes multiple flocked energy absorbing material (FEAM) layers separated by dividers. The FEAM layers can be single side or double side and can be fabricated from monofilament fibers having different properties (e.g., length and denier) flocked onto various substrates. The dividers can include sheets, fabrics, films, foam, spacer fabrics to separate the flock fibers in adjacent layers. The composite panels can be processed for breathability and flexibility. Other embodiments include piezoelectric FEAM layers and dividers for electronic sensing applications, and application of composite panels to body armor and the outer shells of helmets.

An inwardly directed actuation force that lacks a rotational component is applied to the elongated pin to move from the use position to the released position.

Abstract: Methods and devices for adjusting the position of a mandible guard relative to a helmet are disclosed. Adjustment of the mandible guard may be performed by a user while the user is wearing the helmet and/or without the use of tools. A mandible guard adjustment system may be combined with an attachment system for attaching and removing the mandible guard to a helmet.

When each set of sizing inserts are disposed within the article of footwear, the size of the foot the article of footwear is capable of receiving is different. By providing a size-adjustable system, the article of footwear is capable of receiving multiple foot sizes, such as that of a growing child.

Abstract: Disclosed is an improved pull rib structure of a wind-resistant umbrella. The pull rib includes a rigid pull bar section and a flexible pull wire connected to each other. The pull wire has a free end that is coupled through a tighten-up device to the outer rib. The tighten-up device includes a position-restoration member arranged therein to connect to the free end of the pull wire and apply a position-restoration driving force to the pull wire. The tighten-up device keeps the pull wire in a stretched and tight condition during collapsing of umbrella so as to prevent entangling and ensure a smooth opening operation and service life of the umbrella.

Abstract: This invention relates to a hair styling device having a body defining a chamber adapted to accommodate a length of hair, the length of hair being styled while it is located within the chamber. The chamber has a primary opening through which the length of hair may pass into the chamber. An elongate member is located within the chamber. A rotatable element is provided which is adapted to engage the length of hair adjacent to the primary opening and to apply a force to the length of hair to wind the length of hair around the elongate member. The rotation of the rotatable element is controlled by a control system which includes means to detect the force applied to the length of hair. In the event of hair entanglement the force applied to the length of hair increases and if the force detected by the control system exceeds a predetermined threshold the rotation of the rotatable element is stopped and can be reversed so as to relieve the tension and allow the length of hair to be removed from the device.
