Abstract: A suite of cordless hairstyling devices with interchangeable, rechargeable batteries is provided. The suite includes a cordless blow dryer, a cordless curling iron, a cordless flat iron, a plurality of rechargeable, interchangeable battery packs and a recharging station. The suite of hairstyling devices each have a handle with an indentation which is configured to receive one of the rechargeable, interchangeable battery packs.

Abstract: Disclosed are hair styling compositions comprising at least two latex acrylate polymers, wherein at least one latex acrylate polymer is a film-forming polymer, and at least one component chosen from coalescing agents and plasticizers. Methods of styling the hair are also disclosed.

Abstract: A hair barrette for securing hair is disclosed. The hair barrette includes a first, second, and third segment. The first and second segments each have a first side having teeth and a catch, and an opposing second side having an ornamental design. The third segment is positioned between the first and second segments and may have a first end, a second end, a first opening adjacent to the first end, and a second opening adjacent to the second end. The catch of the first segment is insertable into the second opening of the third segment and the catch of the second, segment is insertable into the first opening of the third segment. Further the ornamental designs are visible when said the catches are inserted into the openings.

Abstract: A hairpiece article drying apparatus is provided. The apparatus may be a chamber configured for placement on a support surface. The chamber may be configured to hold a hairpiece article for drying. The chamber may include an airflow duct between interior and exterior panels. A suspension element may be coupled to an interior surface of the chamber interior to hold the hairpiece article suspended above the support surface in the chamber interior within the airflow.

Abstract: This invention enables a physically impaired individual to trim his or her fingernails or toenails with a commercial nail clipper without holding and squeezing the clipper. The device includes a base which holds a small and/or large commercial nail clipper in a removable, reversible sleeve, a hand/foot rest to aid in placing and holding nails between the clipper cutting blades and a lever to be pressed to apply force to the clipper actuating arm and accomplish nail trimming. The primary purpose of the device is to assist individuals in trimming their own fingernails or toenails, especially those who have lost the dexterity in one or both hands or experience pain when squeezing a nail clipper. The invention may also be hand-held by an individual who needs assistance holding and operating a nail clipper.

The press button is movable between a raised position, where the positioning unit is spaced apart from a selected one of the contacting surface portions, and a pressed position, where the positioning unit abuts against the selected one of the contacting surface portions and the press button is pressed downwardly against the elastic cap.

Abstract: A rod-shaped cosmetic material feeding container in which a leading tube and a container main body are relatively rotated in one direction, an action of a screw part moves a rod-shaped cosmetic material supporting body to reach a movement limit, and then the leading tube and the container main body are further relatively rotated in the one direction. With movement of the rod-shaped cosmetic material supporting body stopped, while a spring portion in a rotation stopper tube shrinks, the screw part screws forward to release screwing of the screw part. Additionally, the movement of the rod-shaped cosmetic material supporting body is stopped and therefore the rod-shaped cosmetic material supporting body does not move back and forth in an axial direction. Accordingly, a rod-shaped cosmetic material does not move back and forth in the axial direction as well, thereby ensuring minimizing an impact to the rod-shaped cosmetic material.

The pack may be configured to be readily engaged with the frame. The pack may comprise one or more pocket sections that may be quickly detached for easy access to its contents by a user while still wearing the main part of the pack which may remain engaged with the frame.

Abstract: A hammock enclosure designed for preferably one or two hammocks can be used in a variety of settings and locales due to a number of features of the enclosure. The hammock enclosure has sides made of a high quality netting to prevent insects from entering the enclosure. Additionally, an adjustable, water proof rain fly is positioned above the enclosure and the bottom of the enclosure also comprises a water proof material. The hammock enclosure is affixed, preferably to two trees, and the hammocks then hung inside. The lines for the hammocks pass through openings which may be cinched close to again prevent water, insects, and the like from entering the enclosure. Alternatively, the hammock enclosure may be secured to the ground via loops, an upper loop(s), and a securement mechanism. This enables the hammock enclosure to be utilized as a traditional ground shelter.

In an embodiment, a force is applied to deform a deformable band along a length dimension of the deformable band. The force acts to move an energy harvesting mechanism of the deformable band such that the energy harvesting mechanism transforms deformation of the deformable band into stored energy. The stored energy may be used, e.g., to collect information using a sensor of said deformable band. Other aspects are described and claimed.

The bristle body (5) and the head (2) are connected to each other by one or more connecting portions. This toothbrush enables the bristle body implanted with bristles to freely and flexibly move upwards, downwards, leftwards or rightwards in the through hole of the head, so that the bristle body flexibly moves so as to adapt to various shapes of the teeth when brushing the teeth, thereby maximizing the contact area between the teeth and the bristles as well as the brushing effect.

The kitchen workspace is consolidated into a small footprint area with automated vertical storage shelves for storing and housing kitchen items and kitchen appliances. Kitchen appliances may be rotated around the automated storage shelves while the appliances are being used. A user of the kitchen workspace is able to stand in a fixed position and access all kitchen items and appliances without moving from the fixed standing position.

By using clear material, items on upper shelves can be seen through the drawer bottoms, and by using the drawers in pairs, items on upper drawers at the rear of the drawer can be easily accessed by extending one drawer at a time and reaching over the sides.

The tether extends through the slot and terminates in a ball end. The ball end nests in the enlarged end of the slot to couple the tether to the coupling plate.

Abstract: The invention relates to a framed art hanging system for hanging pictures and other similar items such as art, photos, diplomas, posters, paintings and framed sports memorabilia on walls. The system allows the installer of a framed picture to easily hang the picture utilizing the combination of a magnetic connection and a mechanical connection. The magnetic connection is achieved by utilizing a magnet, preferably adhered to a plate which is attached to either the back of the picture frame or to the wall and a metal plate which is magnetically attracted to the magnet, the metal plate being placed on the other location (either the back of the picture frame or to the wall). Three example ways to achieve a mechanical connection are described. The first way is to place an abrasive coating on either the frame plate or the magnet plate and a deformable substance coating on the other. The second way is to combine fins and grooves, one being placed on the frame plate and the other being placed on the magnet plate.

Abstract: A two piece suspension device for a shower curtain and a shower liner. One piece fits over a shower curtain rod and includes a spherical end for loops on a shower curtain. There is a pair of connectors for a shower liner. A shower liner is placed between a first liner connector and a second liner connector and is held in place when the connectors are snapped together. A plurality of the shower curtain hook devices, depending on the number of loops in a shower curtain, is used to suspend the shower curtain and shower liner.
