Abstract: The invention concerns a method for the machining of toothed workpieces, in particular for the plastic reshaping of the tooth edges at the ends of the teeth through a meshing tooth engagement with a tool that is rotatable with free-running mobility about its axis of rotation, in particular a chamfering tool, wherein between the machining of one workpiece and the next, the tool is subjected to a traverse movement, whereby the tool is caused to perform a rotary movement so that, if a tool region (6a, 6b) that is designed for the initial engagement with the work pieces is not suitably positioned, it is brought into a position that is suitable for the machining of the next work piece, wherein the rotary movement is effected by coupling the rotary movement at least in sections to the traverse movement.

Abstract: A screen printing machine for forming a print of paste supplied to a mask plate having pattern holes, includes: a flexible filling squeegee which performs a squeegeeing operation in which the filling squeegee is moved relative to the mask plate in a printing direction; and a scraping squeegee which is held to maintain a given interval from the filling squeegee in the printing direction and to be movable together with the filling squeegee in the printing direction, and which scraps off the paste remaining on the mask plate after passage of the filling squeegee. In the squeegeeing operation, the filling squeegee is pushed up and bent by the paste to provide a clearance between a bottom end of the filling squeegee and the mask plate with the paste interposed therebetween so that the pattern holes are filled with paste with a prescribed filling pressure.

Abstract: A melt cutter includes a case, an electricity-connecting portion, a heating device, a working portion, a control portion, and a heat-dissipating device. The case has a heat-dissipating zone. The electricity-connecting portion is disposed in the case for connecting with an electricity source. The working portion is disposed in the case and has a gap with changeable size for clamping an object. The control portion alternatively triggers the heating device to heat and to transmit heat to the working portion, and it also reduces the size of the gap for melting and cutting the object. The heat-dissipating device is disposed at the heat-dissipating zone and is electrically connected with the electricity-connecting portion. Thereby, the heat-dissipating device helps air communication between interior and exterior of the case.

Abstract: Wafer alignment with restricted visual access has been disclosed. In an example, a method of processing a substrate for fabricating a solar cell involves supporting the substrate over a stage. The method involves forming a substantially opaque layer over the substrate. The substantially opaque layer at least partially covers edges of the substrate. The method involves performing fit-up of the substantially opaque layer to the substrate. The method involves illuminating the covered edges of the substrate with light transmitted through the stage, and capturing a first image of the covered edges of the substrate based on the light transmitted through the stage. The method further includes determining a first position of the substrate relative to the stage based on the first image of the covered edges. The substrate may be further processed based on the determined first position of the substrate under the substantially opaque layer.
