Each plate comprises an inner layer, a trauma plate, and an outer layer, where the trauma plate is located between the inner layer and the outer layer. The inner layer and the outer layer may be foam, while the trauma plate may be a rigid material. The one or more plates may comprise a front plate shaped to conform to the user's forehead; a back plate shaped to conform to the back of the user's head; a right plate shaped to conform to the right side of the user's head, covering the user's right ear; a left plate shaped to conform to the left side of the user's head, covering the user's left ear; and/or a top plate shaped to conform to the top of the user's head.

The perimeter chamber extends adjacent to at least a portion of a lateral sidewall and a medial sidewall of the sole structure. The central chamber is positioned within a central area of the sole structure, the central area being located between the lateral sidewall and the medial sidewall. The outsole defines at least a portion of a lower surface of the sole structure, and has a perimeter section secured below the perimeter chamber and a central section secured below the central chamber. Various features may be incorporated into the sole structure. For example, the perimeter chamber may be spaced from the central chamber and the perimeter section may be spaced from the central section to define a gap extending upward and into the sole structure from the lower surface.

The inflated components form one or more auxetic bladders, and may have a triangular geometry. The inflated components are fluidly connected to adjoining components. Abstract: A method of manufacturing an article includes disposing polymeric material in a mold assembly that has a mold surface that has an etched area. In a more particular embodiment, the location determining device is a GPS receiver, and the communication device is a cellular modem.

Abstract: Lacing systems are disclosed for use with footwear or other articles. The lacing system can include flexible webbing lace guides. A lace guide can include a first lace guide element and a second lace guide element. The lace can pass through the first and second lace guides consecutively on the first side of the article before crossing to the opposing side of the article. The first and second lace guide elements can be angled towards each other to reduce the occurrence of sharp turns in the lace path through the lace guide elements. The lace guide can have a central portion that is less flexible than the end portions so as to reduce the occurrence of sharp turns in the lace path through the lace guide when tension is applied to the lace.

The foot insertion opening widely opens the side and/or rear area of the shoe to allow for easy insertion and removal of a foot. Such uppers can be particularly useful for hightop athletic footwear, boots, or other footwear that extends up to or at least partially over a wearer's ankles.

The cleat includes a central stud with screw threads spaced about the outside surface of the stud. The receptacle includes a threaded annulus on a base for receiving the central stud of the cleat. The cleat also includes a collar coaxially surrounding the central stud with splines projecting from the interior collar surface. The threaded receptacle annulus is surrounded by two sets of alternating teeth projecting from the outside surface of the annulus. One of the set of alternating teeth have an upper surface at an angle with the base. Thus, the user obtains positive feedback that the cleat and socket have mated correctly.

Abstract: The invention relates to an adjuster device (1) for adjusting the length and fastening of a web type strap (12), and in particular to an adjuster device (1) intended to be used together with a child restraint harness as part of a child vehicle seat. The adjuster device according to the invention allows, when the adjuster is in the open, release position, the strap to be easily pulled and freely move through the adjuster in both directions whereas the strap, when the adjuster is in the closed, fastening position, is securely fastened (without any risk for slippage) while still allowing the strap to be easily tightened by pulling the strap in one direction only. The present device does not cause wear and tear of the web, prevents slippage and is easy to use.

Abstract: This invention is directed toward a flat, washer-like key ring. In some embodiments, the key ring is substantially circular. It is distinct from prior art in that the key ring largely, or entirely, resides in a single plane, as opposed to being concentric circles overlapped one on top of the other. The key ring has a split line running through a portion of its body. The split line creates inner and outer segments along a portion of the plane of the body. The split line can be non-linear, in that it may not be a straight line. As such, the split line has protrusions and slots running along its length. These protrusions and slots interact mechanically to allow the key ring to remain securely closed, and endure greater radial forces, by coupling the inner and outer segments together. The inner and outer segments are also releasably attached so as to facilitate the addition or removal of a key.

Abstract: A device that can be configured as a walking aid, such as one or more canes, or as a chair for sitting. In the walking aid configuration, the device may include two canes. Each cane may have a main leg and a secondary leg that may be rotated parallel to the main leg to form a cane, or rotated away from the main leg to form one half of a chair support. One of the canes may include a seat crossbar that folds out and extends between the two chair supports formed from the two canes. Handles may be attached or integrated into the main legs. Because the chair configuration may be formed from only five linear members (two main legs, two secondary legs, and the seat crossbar), the canes may be compact and lightweight when folded up into the walking aid configuration.

Second or secondary locking fasteners are also provided to lock first or primary fasteners to or within the carrying bag, to provide security for compartments and pockets. A strap with one or more security cables, and various locking fasteners, may be attached to the carry bag. Methods for forming such security panel assemblies, expansion panels, and carrying straps are also disclosed.

The present also invention provides a method of manufacturing the luggage. The method includes the steps of assembling a family mold to form a mold cavity, injecting mold material into the mold cavity to make the one-piece shell for the luggage, and removing the family mold. The family mold includes an inner mold tool and an outer mold tool, and the step of removing the family mold includes the steps of removing the outer mold tool first, and then, removing the inner mold tool.

The first section further includes a picture frame, while the second section includes a mirror. In this way, the present invention provides a jewelry box with multiple features to reduce clutter and to increase versatility.

Since according to the invention a cover element, which adjustably constricts the free space between the teeth, is provided, the cover element can primarily be selected so that the free space is enlarged and easy insertion into the hair is possible. In the further proceedings, the cover element can be adjusted so that the free space is constricted and the scalp is completely covered down to the regions in which the individual hairs aligned in the free space between the tines pass through.

Abstract: A wrinkle reducing pad is used to reduce wrinkles by applying tension to skin on a portion of the user's body, such as the face. An adhesive layer on the back of the wrinkle reducing pad is adhered to the skin, extending from a first point on the user's cheek, to a second point of the user's neck. A tension strap that is attached to one end of the adhesive pad is pulled to exert tension that tightly stretches the user's skin toward the neck. The tension strap is then removeably secured to the outer surface of the adhesive pad while maintaining the tension for a desired period of time. Since the adhesive pad adheres to the skin on the neck between the two points, it prevents wrinkles from forming there as a result of the tension applied by the tension strap.

Abstract: This invention provides a backpack with a compartment containing a plurality of pockets for carrying personal electronic devices, including a specific pocket for storing a rechargeable battery pack within a range of sizes, shapes and cable socket number/placement on the pack's housing. The battery pocket defines crossing bands of elastic that accommodates/secures various battery form factors. Power cable access to sockets on the pack is eased by the flexibility of the straps and their interstices. The main compartment includes pockets for other electronic items, such as a tablet computer, smartphone and/or music player. Pockets are constructed from a mesh that includes an elastomer coating for frictional retention of items. A cable pocket, including pass through openings is also provided to route and store gathered/wound sections of power cables from the battery pack located therebelow. Cables extend from the cable pocket to various electronic devices in adjacent pockets, or externally.

Abstract: The reclining chair 100 according to the invention comprises an anchoring structure 200 having, mounted thereon, a support structure or frame 300A which forms a support of a seat 300B connected at the front to a leg rest 600, the frame 300A being connected laterally to two arm rests 500 and at the rear to a backrest 400. The backrest and frame are connected together by means of frame pins 316; the backrest and seat 300B are connected together by means of lever systems 410, 410a connected at one end to seats 407 provided on the framework 401 of the backrest 400 and at the other end to pins arranged in seats 323 on the seat side support structures 311 of the seat 300B; the frame 300A and seat 300B are connected together by means of frame pins 306 and 318 which slide inside corresponding recesses 320 and 321 formed in the seat side support structures 311 of the seat 300B.

Abstract: A folding chair enables a user to easily change directions in a sitting state. The user's posture can be supported to prevent sagging in response to the weight of the sitting user. The folding chair includes a lower block having a first stopper connected with an end of each of the legs of the chair. The first stopper parts limit the other ends of the legs from rotating in the lower central direction. An upper block has a second stopper that horizontally rotates based on an axial connection to the lower block and is connected to an end of each of a plurality of support parts. The second stoppers limit the other ends of the support parts from rotating in the lower central direction. A seat connects the other ends of the support parts. The legs and the support parts can be folded or unfolded in the same directions.
