Abstract: A process and an apparatus continuously treat seeds with ultrasonic transmission. The process includes mixing seeds with a flowable medium to create a flowable slurry of seeds; continuously moving the flowable slurry of seeds for a length of a flow pipe through a helical path within the flow pipe; and as the flowable slurry flows through the helical path within the for the length of the flow pipe, subjecting the seeds to ultrasonic transmission created by ultrasonic transducers arranged along the length of the flow pipe. The seeds in the flowable slurry are subjected to the ultrasonic transmission having such waveforms and being transmitted in a manner so as not to damage the seeds and to produce ultrasonically-treated seeds that have regulated germination characteristics, such that plants resulting from the ultrasonically-treated seeds when the seeds are planted have affected growth characteristics. The apparatus effects this process.

Abstract: The present invention provides a pneumatic distribution system for use with agricultural equipment, such as air drills and air carts, in which hoses may be held at a manifold connection having articulated control. The manifold connection may hold multiple couplers for hoses, and each of the couplers may be configured to allow substantial rotation in a first plane perpendicular to the ground. In addition, the manifold connection may be configured to allow substantial rotation in a second plane parallel to the ground. As a result, the manifold connection may be held proximal to a mechanical hitching point between agricultural equipment. This, in turn, may allow elimination of excess hose lengths and greater ease of handling when the agricultural equipment is separated and the hoses are disconnected.

Abstract: A seed meter comprising a seed handler comprising a cylinder comprising a plurality of seed chambers. The seed handler rotates the cylinder to sequentially position each seed chamber in a ‘loading’ position wherein each seed chamber receives a sets of seeds, a ‘planting’ position wherein seeds from each seed set are parsed, and an ‘evacuation’ position wherein any seeds remaining in each chamber are evacuated from each chamber. The seed meter additionally comprises a seed separator comprising a seed disc. The seed disc rotates, parses seed from each seed chamber, and transports the seeds to the exit chute. Importantly, the seed meter is structured and operable to substantially simultaneously, receive the sets of seed in the respective chamber positioned in the ‘loading’ position, parse the seeds from the respective chamber positioned in the ‘planting’ position, and evacuate the remaining seed from the respective chamber positioned in the ‘evacuation’ position.

Abstract: A conduit having a flexible tubular body having a first end connectable to a manifold or claw 14 and a free end connectable to a teatcup. Disposed partway along its length are disposed two integrally formed ribs capable of moving about an elbow joint. Each rib consists of two arms connected by an elbow joint about which the arms may move relative to one another. The arms of each rib are substantially planar and meet at a pivot point or elbow to form a substantially inverted V-shape when viewed along its the horizontal axis. The ribs encourage downward movement 5 in the vertical plane about its lateral axis at and away from the apex of each of the inverted V-shaped ribs whilst also resisting lateral movement or even upward movement.

Abstract: The utility model belongs to the technical field of pet appliances, particularly relates to and discloses a cat climbing frame. This frame is comprised of a climbing column and resting perch that is suspended from above structures by rope, wire, or chain indoors or outdoors. The hanging height is changeable by adjusting the length of hanging material over the frame. The frame is covered in a variant of cat claw penetrable materials such as carpet, rope or fabric materials. The device satisfies cats need to climb, play, scratch, and perch in elevated places. A key feature is the way cats make the frame move under its hanging location. Cats find this climber very interesting and love to attack it making it swing and twist as well as sleep and play on the upper perch. This movable climbing frame entices cats for active healthy exercise and provides endless entertainment for cats owners.

Abstract: The pet toy comprises a body resembling an animal such as a bird with a laser light source mounted in the body. The body is attached to an elongate flexible wand or spring. The opposite end of the elongate wand connects to a base. The base has a plurality of prongs that extend substantially perpendicular to the base. Each prong has a stem and an arm extending substantially perpendicular to the stem. The pet toy is mounted to a corrugated surface having gaps between layers of material, such as cardboard. The prongs are oriented to engage the surface so sufficient frictional engagement is achieved to keep the pet toy mounted when an animal makes contact with the pet toy. In another embodiment the pet toy is a brush with a base and plurality of prongs in the same configuration such that the brush can be mounted flush to the corrugated surface.
