The device includes a at least one compressible material that is used. The compressible material is compressed to seal the gap and prevent movement of the zipper slide. Abstract: A cradle with a resonant, high efficiency mechanism for swinging (oscillating) the cradle with multiple swinging styles is described. Vertical and horizontal swinging are enabled with a single actuation mechanism. In an embodiment, the actuation mechanism consists of a motor with an eccentric load and a motor control system that can control the angular velocity and/or angular position of the motor. Use of the eccentric load enables actuation in the vertical and horizontal directions with the single actuation mechanism. For motion feedback, the control system uses a motion sensor. A spring system is used as the potential energy storage element for vertical resonant oscillations. For horizontal oscillations, the system acts like a pendulum and the potential energy due to gravity is used for energy storage. The spring system is designed to ensure that with change in mass of the baby, minimal change in oscillation frequency occurs.

The cooling fan is selectively operable and positioned to blow or draw air across at least a portion of the motor. The blender jar has one or more selectively rotatable blades. The motor is selectively operable to rotate the blender jar blades. The selective operation of the motor is independent of the selective operation of the fan, such that (1) the fan is operable when the motor is not operating, (2) the motor is operable when the fan is not operating, and (3) the fan and the motor are operable at different respective speeds at a same time.

Abstract: A portable shower includes an enclosure that converts between a two-dimensional collapsed configuration and a three-dimensional upright configuration defining a space therein for a person. The enclosure is self-extending and free-standing in the upright configuration, and desirably has a height of at least 4 feet. The enclosure includes a liner, preferably tubular in shape when extended, and an integrally attached collapsible skeleton such as an elastic coil, preferably helical. The elastic coil has a sufficient relaxed size and spring constant to self-expand the liner when constraints are released. A water reservoir connects to a shower sprayer through a hose, and may be integrated in the wall of the enclosure. For instance, a helical sleeve around the liner may constrain both the elastic coil and the hose. A foot pump may be provided along the hose and within the enclosure for easy propulsion of water from the reservoir to the sprayer.
