Abstract: The invention provides an ESD detection method for array substrate. By connecting the first metal layer on array substrate through the first wire to the first test point, connecting the second metal layer on array substrate through the second wire to the second test point, when ESD occurs on array substrate, the resistance detection device is used to measure the resistance between the first and second test points. If the resistance is positive infinity, ESD did not occur between the first and second metal layers; if the resistance is within a measurable range, ESD occurs between the first and second metal layers. The resistance is used to locate the location of ESD occurrence on array substrate. Compared to known method using microscope to search ESD location, the invention can locate ESD location on array substrate more accurately and rapidly to save time and labor as well as detection cost.

Latches within an integrated circuit device that fail to operate properly are found using observed data from a test. Thereafter, a directed graph of the layout of the integrated circuit is used to find clock controllers that feed into the latches. Abstract: A system and method for acquiring magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images with an MRI system is provided. The system and method directs the MRI system first to produce an inversion recovery radio frequency (RF) pulse, wait for a time period, produce a T2-preparation RF pulse, wait for another time period, and then acquire data of a part of a subject. The first produced RF pulse rotates net magnetization 180 degrees about an axis. The pulse sequence used to acquire data can be any two-dimensional or three-dimensional sequence used to acquire a volume in the subject. The two waiting time periods are chosen such that the signals of two or more tissues of the subject are nulled.

Abstract: MRI techniques provide robust imaging in the presence of inhomogeneity in the B1 (RF) and/or B0 magnetic fields. The techniques include using a magnetization prep sequence that includes an adiabatic half passage (AHP) followed by a spin-lock pulse, followed by a reverse AHP, after which a data acquisition sequence can be applied. The AHP and reverse AHP can have amplitude and frequency modulated to sweep through a region of frequency space. The RF amplitude of the AHP and reverse AHP can be designed to be equal to the spin-lock amplitude. Quantification of a magnetization relaxation parameter (e.g., T1rho) can use a modified relaxation model that accounts for relaxation effects during the reverse AHP. A dual-acquisition technique in which the reverse AHP of the second magnetization prep sequence has opposite frequency modulation to the reverse AHP of the first magnetization prep sequence can also be used.

Abstract: Described here are systems and methods for producing an image that depicts blood flow stasis using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Doppler echocardiography, or other medical instruments for measuring flow velocities in a human body. A time series of three-dimensional (3D) image volumes is provided, where this time series of 3D image volumes contains flow velocity information at voxel locations in a 3D volume in a subject. One or more regions-of-interest are then segmented from the 3D image volumes. For each voxel in the regions-of-interest, velocity magnitudes are calculated. Using the velocity magnitudes, a flow stasis volume is produced by computing a relative stasis value for each voxel location in the corresponding region-of-interest. This flow stasis volume can be provided as a 3D flow stasis image, or a flow stasis map can be produced by projecting the flow stasis volume onto a two-dimensional (2D) plane.

Abstract: A magnetic resonance tomography scanner is provided for the determination a diffusion tensor of an examination object, and a method is provided for operating the magnetic resonance tomography scanner. The magnetic resonance tomography scanner acquires a volume image of the examination object by imaging magnetic resonance tomography without diffusion encoding. The control system segments the image according to diffusion-relevant symmetry properties and also determines volume elements of a symmetry group. A first and a second component of a diffusion tensor are acquired by the magnetic resonance tomography scanner at different angles and the control unit uses the symmetry property with the acquired components and the volume image to determine a diffusion tensor for the volume elements.

A breathing curve is recorded at least after the output of the instruction to the patient. A next-breath time is determined based on the recorded breathing curve. At least one final MR measurement data set is created based on the acquired MR measurement data, depending on the detected next-breath time. Abstract: Systems and methods for magnetic resonance fingerprinting (“MRF”) using highly differentiated trajectories that optimize differentiation between magnetic resonance signal patterns as a function of relaxation time(s) and static magnetic field homogeneity are described. Using the optimized acquisition parameters, MRF can be performed in the presence of inhomogeneous magnetic fields. Flip angle homogeneity can also be incorporated into the dictionary matching process to simultaneously estimate quantitative parameters of the subject and radio frequency coil transmission homogeneity profiles.

Abstract: Calibration methods for microwave imaging (MI) systems are disclosed. According to an aspect, an MI system has a plurality of Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) ports operatively connected to a plurality of antennas. A multiple state calibration network having predetermined parameters is operatively connected between a first VNA port of the plurality of VNA ports and a first antenna of the plurality of antennas. A method of calibrating the MI system includes determining first, second, and third pluralities of reflection coefficients associated with the plurality of VNA ports using first, second, and third calibration scenarios; removing a measurement effect of the multiple calibration network from the first, second and third pluralities of reflection coefficients; and determining error parameters for each VNA port using the first, second, and third pluralities of reflection coefficients.
