Abstract: The present invention is a shirt having an ultraviolet (“UV”) protection collar. The UV protection collar of the shirt covers the majority of the back of the neck to protect it from harmful UV radiation and cool the back of the neck. The UV protection collar includes a collar is attached to a collar band, which is attached to the shirt. The collar is tallest at the center to cover the majority of the back of the neck and tapers towards the edges. The shirt and the UV protection collar is constructed of fabric having at least UPF 50+ rating, four-way stretch capabilities, and moisture wicking properties. The UV protection collar is made up of multiple layers of the fabric to enhance its UV protection and cooling properties.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for cutting and placing individual nose wires in a facemask production line. A continuous wire is supplied from a source to a cutting station in the production line. At the cutting station, the wire is engaged with a set of driven feed rollers that advance the wire at a first speed to a cutting roller, wherein the wire is cut into individual nose wires. The individual nose wires from the cutting roller are then engaged by a set of delivery rollers to deposit the individual nose wires onto a running carrier web. The delivery rollers are independently driven relative to the feed rollers and cutting roller such that the nose wires from the cutting roller are initially accelerated and transported away from the cutting roller at a second speed that is greater than the first speed and then decelerated and moved onto the carrier web at a third speed that is less than the first speed.

The outerwear may include insulative panels that are positioned, oriented, sized, and shaped according to a body mapping. The body mapping may indicate areas where insulative material should be reduced to improve the mobility of a wearer of the outerwear.

Abstract: A method for inhibiting the spread of nosocomial infections in institutional health care settings comprises treating outer garments, worn indoors by employed staff of the institution, to impart antimicrobial properties to those garments by immersing the garments in a solution of glyxol, eugenol and water, squeezing the solution out of the garments, curing the wetted garments under heat, and drying the cured garments; and thereafter requiring employed staff to wear the treated garments while working at the institution; laundering the garments after being worn by the staff, for further wear by the staff, and requiring employed staff to wear the treated garments after the garments have been laundered for so long as the garments retain their antimicrobial properties.

Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of generating a shape description from digital image acquisition for a patient body part or body area of interest and use of such shape description. Such shape description includes geometric information from which measurement information can optionally be derived. Included herein are methods for diagnosing and monitoring edema and other conditions in patients using shape descriptions acquired from a patient in need of such diagnosis and monitoring. The invention also includes use of the generated shape descriptions to make compression garments specifically configured for a patient's body part or body area. Compression garments generated from the shape descriptions are also included herein.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a hat having a foldable brim formed thereon, and, more specifically, relates to a hat having a foldable brim formed thereon, wherein the hat is formed such that the brim can be folded upwards, a comfortable feel during wear is maintained as there is little feeling of compression tightening around the head of the wearer even when the brim is folded upwards, and hat productivity is improved by ensuring that sewing is convenient.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a process in which a helmet system including a machine is provided, that when worn by a user, positions the machine in a proximate relationship to a head portion, a neck portion, or both of the user. The helmet system provides a redistributing of a force responsive to a collision received along a first direction, wherein the force results from kinetic energy of an impact encountered at an external surface of the helmet system. The force induces an actuation of the machine, wherein the redistributing of the received collision force is based on the actuation of the machine. Energy transferred to the head portion, the neck portion, or both, resulting from the kinetic energy of the impact, is reduced, e.g., absorbed, based on the actuation of the machine. Abstract: A hard hat having an integral misting system for directing a liquid from a stored reservoir onto a user's face and head as a cooling mist. The misting hard hat includes a hat base having a rigid shell and suspension system, a fluid reservoir attached to the interior of the rigid shell, a misting component for dispersing liquid as a mist, and a distribution system for delivering liquid from the from the reservoir to the misting component under pressure. In one embodiment, the misting component is formed from a clip on housing that includes a plurality of misting nozzles which each direct mist from a slightly different position and/or at a slightly different trajectory, thereby provided a large coverage area for mist.

Thus, the display unit displays operational parameters of the vehicle.

Abstract: Waterproof, breathable socks, booties, shoe inserts, and footwear assemblies containing the shoe inserts are provided. The booties and shoe inserts include a laminate of a seamless ePTFE membrane and at least one textile. The bootie is conformable over a range of sizes and shoe shapes, and may be shaped to fit numerous sizes and shapes of asymmetrical shoe lasts. The bootie may shrink to fit, or, alternatively, be stretched to fit, an asymmetrical last having a desired size to form a shoe insert. Such a conformable bootie eliminates the need to have multiple sizes of shoe inserts correlating to particular shoe sizes. In embodiments where the ePTFE is seamless and continuous, the shoe insert eliminates the need for a waterproof seam tape, which is conventionally used to make shoe inserts waterproof. Methods of forming the socks, booties, and shoe inserts are also provided.

In the depicted embodiment, the metatarsal guard is internal in that it is located under the outer layer of the footwear. The footwear is constructed such that the metatarsal guard does not impinge into the foot volume of the footwear, and the metatarsal protection also is arranged and configured to maintain a high degree of flexibility in the footwear.

This protective product would consist of a cylindrical sleeve, produced from a durable rubber, which would rest atop the heel. Positioned upon the bottom of the “Show Stopper Shoe Topper” would be a circular base. I envision this product would be in the shape of a wine glass stem. I would be possible to produce the “Show Stopper Shoe Topper” in sizes to accommodate various styles and sizes of women's footwear. The “Show Stopper Shoe Topper” could be produced in heights from 2 to 10 inches with the width measuring 1/16 to ¾ inch.

The pressing and then releasing operation of the pressing button by a user operate the spuit bulb so that the spuit tube sucks the cosmetic material stored in the container body.
