Abstract: An underwater device for water power conversion includes multiple cups, each cup constituted by a bottomless cup member and a bottom plate fitted pivotally in a freely rotatable manner, wherein the bottomless cup member blocks flowing water in a standing state and makes flowing water pass through in a lying down state, generating flowing water resistance difference between the two states. The cups are installed in a continuous member of a waterwheel submerged in flowing water so that the cup stands in a forward advance path and lies down in a reverse advance path. A water blocking plate is also provided in the reverse advance path so as to utilize centrifugal force to turn the bottomless cup member from the lying down state to the standing state, thereby making the cup turn or circulate continuously in flowing water.

Abstract: A generator device for generating an induced electrical power from the movement of a fluid stream. The generator device can include a circumferential casing that houses a stator, a power storage system and a power management system that receives the induced electrical power, and a propeller-rotor assembly located in the central opening of the casing and rotatably coupled to the casing. The propeller-rotor assembly has two or more propeller blades with distal ends opposite the axis of the propeller-rotor assembly to which magnets are attached. The device can also have a tether assembly for anchoring the generator device in a moving fluid stream and positioning the generator device so that the movement of fluid stream through the generator device causes the propeller-rotor assembly to rotate and, thereby, through interaction with the stator, to generate the induced electrical power. The generator device can be portable and easily deployed by a single user.

These techniques may be static or dynamically changing. Abstract: The present disclosure describes an air filtration device that operates a fan-speed sensor error elimination process. The air filtration device uses a PID control module to ensure its fan operates at a desired fan speed. The fan-speed sensor error elimination process ensures that the air filtration device's controller does not send a measured fan speed determined using data that represent the time it takes the fan blade to complete a fraction of a revolution to the PID control module. This ensures the PID control module accurately controls electrical current supplied to the fan motor.

Abstract: An impeller and rotor structure for a magnetically levitated pump define a smooth primary flow path and U-shaped secondary flow path, which extends around an annular magnetic rotor. The u-shaped secondary flow path is defined by a large outer side gap along an outer surface of the rotor, a large bottom gap along a bottom surface of the rotor and a large inner gap along an inner surface of the rotor. Shroudless impeller blades are purely radial and overhung from a thin peripheral ring attached to the annular magnetic rotor. A center post having a low aspect ratio extends through the annular rotor. The low aspect ratio is configured to prevent flow in the primary flow path from colliding directly with flow in the secondary flow path at the inner radial gap.
