Abstract: A building control system includes a hybrid controller which receives measurements from sensors and provides control signals to building equipment. The hybrid controller includes a state transition controller, a state history tracker, and an adaptive user interface generator. The state transition controller transitions between multiple discrete operating states by executing state transitions. The state history tracker records a state history including a sequence of state transitions executed by the state transition controller and/or a sequence of operating states resulting from the state transitions. The adaptive user interface generator generates an adaptive user interface including a representation of the multiple discrete operating states and the state transitions therebetween. The adaptive user interface includes state history controls operable to navigate the state history and select an operating state defined by the state history.

Abstract: A point-and-shoot automatic landing system (P-A-S ALS) realizes safety and mission effectiveness benefits in vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft, allowing a pilot, using an inceptor device, to select an aim point with an aiming device providing visual indication of the aim point. Once a flight path is computed the pilot may allow the P-A-S ALS to automatically control the flight to touchdown. A suite of ranging devices determines the relative position of the aircraft to the selected aim point and an approach profile guidance algorithm computes the flight path. One or more devices provide confirmation that automatically controlled flight to the selected aim point is achievable. The P-A-S ALS is configured to allow termination of the controlled flight path at any time and selection of a new aim point through the inceptor device.

Abstract: A voltage regulator circuit that regulates voltage on an output node that provides power to a load circuit having varying current draw. A feedback voltage from the output node is compared to reference voltages. In response to the comparisons, pull-up/down circuits are applied to a gate-control node connected to the gate of a pass transistor. The voltage of the gate-control node is adjusted by integrating current from the pull-up/down circuits. In response to the feedback voltage being between the first and second reference voltages, the voltage on the gate-control node is maintained by disabling the pull-up/down circuits at the gate-control node.
