The snowboard accessory includes a support pad including a top support pad surface and a bottom support pad surface. At least a portion of the support pad is magnetically active. The top support pad surface is configured for both magnetic and supporting engagement with at least a portion of a snowboard. An elongated anchoring strap extends laterally from the support pad and includes at least one strap end laterally spaced from the support pad. The elongate anchoring strap is removably attached to the bottom support pad surface. The at least one strap end is configured for securement to the snowboard boot.

Abstract: A waterproof boot comprises a bootie, such as a hiking boot, and a boot upper comprising a varying diameter tube of waterproof material. The boot upper may have a bottom opening that is sealed between an outer gasket and an inner gasket affixed to the bottom of the bootie. The boot upper may also have a top opening that allows a wearer to insert a leg through the top opening of the boot upper and into the bootie. The boot upper may extend more than three inches over the top of the bootie to provide an extended waterproof shield that prevents water from entering into the top of the bootie. The boot upper may include a gusset and a zipper and/or a horizontal Velcro strip and Velcro receiving area to enlarge (or contract) the top opening of the boot upper to allow the wearer to pull the boot upper over a calf of the wearer and improve the fit and comfort of the boot upper.

Abstract: An antistatic shoe includes an outsole having a conducting portion that is made of a conducting material and an insole that has a conducting portion mad of a conducting material. An antistatic unit is sewn to the conducting portion of the insole from below so as to be located between the outsole and the insole. An upper is mounted on the outsole and the insole. Electric connection between the components allows static electricity from a human body to be transmitted to a resistor in the antistatic unit, so that static electricity that would otherwise accumulate in the human body can be stably removed by the resistor and sent to the ground. This eliminates the risk of a transient electrostatic discharge that may disadvantageously damage adjacent electronic devices or generate sparks.

The resulting textile components may be lightweight and breathable (e.g., due to use of lightweight upper fabric), having a comfortable fit (e.g., due to the abutting edge joint), while still providing a strong, stable, and durable construction (e.g., due to the presence of the seam support member(s)).

Abstract: We present an improved hammock suspension system which is both laterally stable and flat, suspended between two spaced trees by longitudinally elongated web straps coupled to an independent anchor strap, one at each end. These longitudinally elongated web straps are affixed to each longitudinal side edge and extend a distance beyond the opposing hammock body ends, creating four web extensions. These web extensions will extend a distance to accommodate spreader member receptacles which will secure horizontal, rigid spreader members, thus transferring the load forces along the opposing longitudinal edges. This creates a flatter sleeping platform.
