Abstract: Disclosed is a crib that elevates a carriage from the lowered position to height that is user defined. The lifting motion is operated by holding buttons on controls on the unit or a wireless remote; releasing the button stops the motion. While in the elevated position, a sliding door assembly provides access to the inside of the carriage while leaving the underside of the carriage free of obstruction as to permit wheelchair using caretakers to freely pull underneath the elevated carriage. The carriage of the crib includes a mattress support, rear wall, right wall, left wall, and a front wall having a left and right sliding door. A telescoping lifting column is fastened to each of the right wall and left wall. The lifting columns have an electric linear actuator that perform the lifting and lowering operations of the carriage. The lifting columns extend downward and are fastened to feet.

Abstract: The design described here is a new display for hand-held consumer electronic devices. The display has a mounting member, or puck, that is lifted from rest on a display surface. The puck carries a rechargeable power storage device for the hand-held device. The power storage device charges when the puck is at rest but is disconnected and powers the hand-held when the puck is lifted. The puck also carries a wireless device that outputs a security alarm signal for the purpose of indicating a theft event.

Abstract: A shopping cart bagging station that couples to a shopping cart is described. The shopping cart bagging station includes a center piece, a first and a second handle arm assembly, and a shopping cart coupler assembly. The center piece includes a bag holder hook that holds at least one shopping bag. The first and the second handle arm assembly each include a handle holder arm that holds the arms of one or more shopping bag. The first and the second handle arm assemblies slidingly insert into a hollow body of the center piece and are adjustably coupled to the center piece. The shopping cart coupler assembly couples the bagging station to a shopping cart. The shopping cart bagging station can be mounted in various locations on a shopping cart, making it easy and convenient for a customer to carry and load a number of shopping bags as they shop.

The pressure sensors and the air bags are mounted in the body. Each air bag includes a bi-directional valve. The pressure sensors can detect values of pressure on the body and thus the body of a user, and transmit the detected pressure values to the processing unit. The processing unit can control the bi-directional valves of the air bags in accordance with the received pressure values to adjust air amounts of each of the air bags by indrawing or releasing air. The smart pillow guides and supports a user's neck.

Abstract: An apparatus to prevent curling of a rug corner. The apparatus includes a rigid and planar V-shaped body having a top surface and a bottom surface. An adhesive layer is applied to at least a portion of the top surface of the body while a removable protective cover is provided over the adhesive layer. Upon removal of the protective cover and exposure of the adhesive layer, the body is adhered to the rug corner by the adhesive. Upon doing so, the body maintains the rug corner in a flat condition thus preventing any curling of the rug.

Abstract: A parcel receiving system for receiving a package preferably delivered by a drone to an automated parcel box positioned adjacent an opening in the building. It has an extendable platform adapted to extend out of opening 8 and receive package. A controller communicates with an external device to receive an unlocking code from the delivery company. When a drone carrying the package gets close to the target location, it sends a code to the controller. If the codes match, it extends a platform to receive the package, retracts the platform moving package into a secure holding area, until a user provide the proper authentication to open the secure holding area to take the package. Holding area may be cooled or heated as required to properly hold the package. Parcel receiving system may also communicate with a smartphone to indicate that a package was been received, or provide pictures/video of the package.

In at least one embodiment, the sous-vide circulator can also distinguish between self-heating and user-induced temperature changes, and will sound alarms accordingly.

A push on a button (72) starts an electric circuit that causes the driving mechanism to move rocker (34) in the directions shown by the arrows so as to move package (46) back and forth in liquid (52), thus improving infusion. The movement continues until the electric circuit turns off the power. Other embodiments provide enhancements. After starting, the mover can be left unattended.

Abstract: An apparatus for assisting a person in assumption of a squat position for evacuations when using a toilet, the apparatus including a platform adapted to raise a user's feet from the ground surface, and at least one foot member, each having an opening therein to at least partially receive a portion of the toilet or bowl, and at least one height adjustment assembly to adjust the height of the platform above the at least one foot member, the height adjustment assembly including an upper leg mounted to the platform, a lower leg mounted to the at least one foot member for slidable movement relative thereto, a resilient separator to bias the platform and the at least one foot apart, and a locking mechanism to at least temporarily lock the upper leg relative to the lower leg to fix the height of the platform.
