Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for interactive assistant modules to safely access and provide restricted content in group contexts. In various implementations, a dialog between a first individual and an interactive assistant module may be determined to be sensorially perceivable by at least a second individual. Restricted content that is to be automatically incorporated into the dialog by the interactive assistant module may be identified. In various implementations, access to the restricted content may be controlled by the first individual. In various implementations, the restricted content may be conditionally incorporated into the dialog in response to a determination that the second individual is authorized to perceive the restricted content.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods for using abstractions of people, including dynamic and static groups of people, to enhance the efficiency of the specification and automation of policies for sharing information between users with a “need-to-know.” An instance of the present invention can also provide these users information based on a “time-to-know.” By providing access to information based on group affiliation and properties of the content of the information, the present invention maintains optimal information privacy while minimizing encumbrances to sharing data with appropriate users and even at appropriate times. The present invention can be integrated with other communication technologies to facilitate access to information in a time appropriate manner. Other instances of the present invention employ automated and semi-automated, mixed-initiative techniques, to make information-sharing decisions.

Abstract: Embodiments allow, within database security policies, the grant of data change operation-specific privileges to particular users to be applied within particular data realms in a given table. Furthermore, according to one or more embodiments, User Privilege column-level privileges are explicitly associated with one or more data access operations such that the grant of such a column-level privilege allows the user to perform only those data access operations that are explicitly associated with the column-level privilege. Enforcement of the data security policies includes prevention of data leakage via WHERE and RETURNING INTO clauses. According to one or more embodiments, a two-phase rewrite is used to optimize enforcement of column-level privileges. During the two-phase rewrite of a given query, the privileges checked during enforcement of the User Privilege data security policies are pruned to avoid unnecessary privilege checks given the columns that are accessed in the query.

Abstract: A method of generating animal identification codes is described. A first and second number are selected, then each number is compared respectively against previously used first and previously used second numbers in a pool. Such comparing uses a computed distance based on how the numbers will be encoded and marked on an animal, such as a Hamming distance of printed symbologies. If the distance computed for either the first or second number is below a distance threshold, that number is discarded and another number is selected. When both numbers pass the distance test, they are added as a pair into the pool. Pairs from the pool may be encoded and marked on an animal. The encoding of the first number may generate a human-readable mark while a different encoding of the second number generates a machine-readable mark.

Abstract: One aspect of the subject matter described may be implemented in a system for use in obtaining a deconvolved image of an object. In some implementations, the system may include an ultrasonic sensing system configured to perform an ultrasonic image scanning operation including one or more image scans of an object to obtain at least one measured image of the object. The system may include a processing unit configured to determine an initial estimate of a point spread function (PSF) associated with the ultrasonic image scanning operation based on the measured image. The processing unit may be configured to determine an initial estimate of a deconvolved image of the object based on the initial estimate of the PSF. The processing unit may be further configured to determine a refined estimate of the deconvolved image using an iterative deconvolution operation based on the initial estimates of the PSF and the deconvolved image.

Abstract: A method for controlling unlocking is provided. The method includes the following operations. Determine whether a finger of a user is in a steady state when a touch operation of the finger on a fingerprint recognition sensor of a terminal is detected. A first fingerprint image according to capacity auto control (CAC) parameters corresponding to a wet finger is received when the finger of the user is in the steady state. N second fingerprint images corresponding to N sets of CAC parameters are received during the receiving of the first fingerprint image. A target fingerprint image is determined and a fingerprint comparison is performed on the target fingerprint image. Unlock the terminal when detecting that the result of the fingerprint comparison is a match.

Abstract: A finger biometric sensing device may include drive circuitry for generating a drive signal and an array of finger biometric sensing pixel electrodes cooperating with the drive circuitry and generating a detected signal based upon placement of a finger adjacent the array. The detected signal may include a drive signal component and a sense signal component superimposed thereon. A gain stage may be coupled to the array and drive signal nulling circuitry may be coupled to the gain stage for reducing the drive signal component from the detected signal. The drive signal nulling circuitry may include a first digital-to-analog converter (DAC) generating an inverted scaled replica of the drive signal for the gain stage. Error compensation circuitry includes a memory storing error compensation data and a second DAC coupled in series with the first DAC compensating an error in the inverted scaled replica based upon the error compensation data.
