The system may increase the ease with which a delivery driver can deliver parcels to the locker bank. As the driver approaches the locker bank to deliver a parcel, the system may automatically open a wireless communication channel between the driver's mobile computing device and the locker bank computer. The system may then transmit a scan of the parcel from the mobile computing device to the locker bank computer via the wireless communication channel. Next, the system may automatically open an available locker in the locker bank that is most proximate to the delivery driver, for example, to minimize a number of steps he or she must take to deliver the parcel to the locker.

Abstract: Automated package deliveries comprises a server at a package delivery system that receives a request for a package delivery, the request comprising an identification of a package and an identification of a first kiosk location. The server associates the package with an aerial delivery device and a user authentication to retrieve the package. The server transmits to the delivery device instructions to deliver the package to the first kiosk. Subsequently, the server receives a request from a user computing device to retrieve the package from the first kiosk and deliver the package to an alternate kiosk. The server transmits to the delivery device instructions to retrieve the package from the first kiosk and instructions to deliver the package to the alternate kiosk. The delivery device retrieves the package from the automated kiosk and delivers the package to the alternate kiosk.

Abstract: The present technology may relate to a substantially real-time container monitoring system for monitoring the content of containers such as beverage bottles. The monitoring system may be automated to record the content of the containers according to a metric such as the container's weight. The monitoring system may capture variances in the container's content for reconciliation with data such as sales data to expose irregularities in the consumption of the container's contents and may provide inferences as to the cause of those irregularities. Various embodiments of the monitoring system may comprise a scale assembly for producing scale data, a processor module communicatively linked to the scale assembly, and a front end server application for processing the scale data and presenting it to a user.

The assigning of boxes may be combined with identifying desired products to be ordered, and ordering products based on available spaces in the storage bays.

A driver is selected for the CTU from the plurality of drivers based on the CTU status notification and the availability information. A delivery request is sent to the selected driver.
