Abstract: Mattresses are packaged by successively rolling two compressed mattresses into a roll in which a rolling wrapper forms a spiral when viewed from an end of the roll. The bottom surface of a first mattress is placed on the wrapper such that the wrapper wraps around a first end of the mattress. The first end is then inserted between the bars of a mechanical roller. The first end is bent over onto the top surface of the mattress, and the mattress is rolled. The bottom surface of a second mattress is placed on the wrapper, and the first mattress is further rolled until successive portions of the bottom surface of the first mattress become adjacent to successive portions of the top surface of the second mattress. The wrapper is cut, and a first location near the cut edge is taped to a second location one revolution earlier on the wrapper.

Abstract: A pouring device for pouring material from an inner bag placed within a container and method of using same are disclosed. The pouring device is movable between open and closed configurations. An embodiment provides a pouring device that includes a main body and at least one mounting part. The main body includes at least two walls and at least one attachment part, which is attached to the inner bag. The walls extend angularly away from each other to form a conduit allowing material to flow from the inner bag through an opening of the container to an exterior of the container, when the pouring device is in the open configuration. Embodiments foster a pouring solution with the mounting part conveniently mounted to the container and which remains mounted when the container is stowed. This allows the pouring device to be ready for future use.

Abstract: Cases and containers for cooling produce may be cooperatively designed to provide cooling efficiencies in both passive ventilation and forced air cooling environments. Each container may include an element for helping form an opening or ventilation funnel within the center area of the cases, with a corresponding opening in the same area of the case for allowing cooling fluid to pass therethrough. Further, each container may include an element for parsing or dividing incoming forced cooling fluid into both the lid and the base. In some versions of the containers, the air may be divided based at least in part on the design of the container, including the proportions of the containers lid to base structure. In this way the forced cooling fluid may be proportionately passed into the overall container to more efficiently cool the produce therein.

Abstract: A dispenser (10) for dispensing a flowable material M has a container (12) having an outer wall (20) and membrane (14) collectively defining a first chamber (22) configured to contain the flowable material M. The membrane (14) has a thickness and a weld seam (40) wherein the weld seam (40) has a thickness less than the thickness of the membrane (14). A fracturing mechanism (16) is operably connected to the container (12). The fracturing mechanism (16) has an extending member (64) projecting from the outer wall (20) of the container (12). The extending member (64) has a projection (66) positioned proximate the membrane (14), wherein in response to deflection of the extending member (64), the projection (66) deflects the outer wall (20) proximate the membrane (14) wherein the weld seam (40) fractures creating an opening (41) through the membrane (14) configured to allow the flowable material M to pass therethrough and from the dispenser (10).
