Abstract: An apparatus according to the present invention provides a bundle tie including a head dampener. The tie generally comprises a strap and a tie head coupled to the strap. The tie head is adapted to engage a free end of the strap, thereby forming a loop, which may be formed or placed about one or a bundle of elongate articles such as conduit, wires, cables, ropes, and pipes, for example. The tie head is provided with a head dampener which serves to cushion what otherwise may be damaging force placed upon the one or more elongate articles by the tie head. The dampener may also serve to limit movement of the one or more elongate articles through the loop formed by the tie.

  • Patent number: 9927059
Abstract: A system and method for pipe insertion in live gas mains includes isolating a section of the gas main and taking measurements of service line connection points. This data is then used to prepare a pipe to be inserted into the gas main by drilling holes and applying fittings at the appropriate locations. The prepared pipe is then inserted into the gas main and the service lines are connected to it without the need to excavate the street over each service connection. The inserted pipe is then fluidly connected to the cut ends of the gas main and gas flow is routed through the newly inserted pipe and the attached service lines, while gas continues to flow through the original portions of the gas main that still remain in service.

  • Patent number: 9927075
Abstract: The present invention relates to technology to implement a technique of managing light intensity by each wavelength band for a light apparatus at a low price, whereby the light intensity is suitable for plant growth. In the present invention, cheaper LED blue-chips are incorporated instead of more expensive LED red-chips which are conventionally incorporated in plant factories, which let the production cost of lighting apparatus for plant factories reduced. By applying red-series, green-series and yellow-series phosphors onto the LED blue-chips, light intensity by wavelength band of lighting apparatuses may meet target conditions which are favorable to plant growth. Further, work environment may be improved by reducing eyestrain due to red light-source, and growth efficiency of plants may be enhanced by improving wavelength characteristics of lighting apparatuses.
