Abstract: This disclosure addresses a problem in relation to the environmental destruction that excessive apparel production can produce. In various embodiments, existing textile products are deconstructed into pieces of fabric and then reassembled into apparel in a manner that creates minimal or zero waste. In some embodiments, the fabric pieces will be positioned inside of one or more pattern pieces so as to completely cover each one without overlapping its border. The positioned pieces will be treated with an adhesive and then have a paper layer adhered to it to hold the positioned fabric pieces in place while they are stitched together. Then, the resulting sandwich will be soaked to remove the paper and dissolve the adhesive. The resulting unified fabric component will then be available to be stitched together with other similarly formed fabric components to form a garment.

Abstract: A head and neck support and restraint system including protective headwear worn by a user; an article worn about the shoulders, chest and back of the user; and a dynamic connector that is disposed between and attached to the protective headwear and the worn article that dampens and distributes forces to which the head and neck are subjected during use. Such forces can include forces experienced as a result of acceleration, deceleration, or impact during a collision between the user and another person or object. The dynamic connector also supports and limits the rate and range of motion permitted between the head and neck relative to the shoulders, chest and back of a user when the head or body of the user is subjected to such forces.

The second body includes a second base defining a second through hole at a center of the second base and a second protrusion protruded from a boundary of the second through hole. The first protrusion defines an insert groove at a surface which is opposite to the second protrusion. The second protrusion is configured to be inserted into the insert groove to be combined with the first protrusion.

Abstract: A connector ring includes a body with first and second ring portions. Each ring portion is configured to extend through the item opening of a corresponding item. The first ring portion includes a wire coil that is defined by wire sections and includes an overlapped coil segment. The body is configured such that the wire sections are yieldably shiftable away from each other along the overlapped coil segment to define a space through which the corresponding item can move along a coil axis. One of the wire sections turns off axis relative to the other wire section at a location to form an offset end portion that extends away from the overlapped coil segment. The wire sections are configured for prying engagement by the corresponding item generally at the location to facilitate shifting of the wire sections away from one another along the overlapped coil segment.

Abstract: The slap watchband includes first and second band parts. Each part has an end adapted to attach to a conventional watch casing using a spring-loaded pin. Each part includes a flexible metal strip encased in plastic and a channel in the plastic located proximate the end adapted to receive a spring-loaded pin. The parts are formed in a multi cavity mold by introducing plastic into the mold cavities to form a plastic layer. A flexible metal strip is placed in each mold cavity over the plastic layer. A rod is inserted into the mold such that it extends across the each mold cavity at a location spaced from the metal strip. Additional plastic is introduced into the mold cavities over the flexible metal strip and rod to form another plastic layer. The mold is closed. Heat and pressure are applied to cure the plastic layers and the rod is removed.
