Abstract: The packages described by this invention all have reduced “head space,” that is, the distance from lid to lens. Packages contain dimples to achieve this reduced head space. Specifically, packages are designed with dimple sag equal to or less than 1.90-mm, or volume displaced equal to or less than 360 ?l. Combined with the existing primary packaging, it has been found that such conditions provide for reduction in folded lens rate during shipping and handling. As well, lenses stored or having an extended time in low head space packages in a “foil down” orientation now have characteristics closer lenses stored in a “foil up orientation.” The packages finally include a foil 3D pattern at a smaller scale than the dimple, by embossing or other methods allowing reduce lens sticking to the foil as well as an added anti-counterfeiting measure.

Abstract: A binoculars cover can include a fabric shell, a strap coupled to the flexible fabric shell that can secure the flexible fabric shell to the binoculars. An area of the interior surface of the flexible fabric shell can minimize or eliminate scratching of the objected lenses of the binoculars. Method of securing a cover to binoculars and a method of minimizing abrasion to a scratch-sensitive surface of binoculars are also described.

The tow handle may include at least one tube structure each including first and second tubes, a rotational mechanism, and a hand grip coupled to one of the first and second tubes for gripping the tow handle by a user. The first tube may be slidably received within the second tube and selectively rotatable thereto. The rotational mechanism may be operable to rotate the first tube relative to the second tube. Rotation of the first tube relative to the second tube may cause at least a portion of the first tube to couple with a portion of the second tube to selectively frictionally lock axial movement of the first tube relative to the second tube.

Abstract: A system and method for applying color pigment from one or more different sticks of hair chalk. A chalk cartridge is disposed within an arm of a housing. The cartridge within the arm may hold one or more sticks of hair chalk for application to a set of hair strands. A user may use the housing to define the set of hair strands and use the device to apply pigment from the hair chalk onto the selected set of hair strands. In a case where the chalk cartridge holds multiple sticks of chalk, there may be included a mechanism to select a particular one of the multiple sticks of chalk for pigment application at any particular time, even for the same or different portions of the identified set of hair strands.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the technical field of common household cleaning devices, more specifically, to a hand-operated sweeping device for the collection of particles. The trigger-actuated sweeping device comprises a circular rotating brush head unit that becomes operational once a trigger is manually compressed, causing the flow of dirt particles into a detachable particle collection unit. The mechanism of the rotation involves the compression of the hand-actuated trigger leading to a series of internal mechanical movements resulting in the downward vertical motion of a series of rods being translated into rotational motion of the brush head unit in the horizontal axis. Attached to an external shaft is the removable particle collection unit, where the clockwise rotation of the brush head unit results in the flow of dirt particles into an indented particle collection compartment.
