Abstract: The invention concerns a method of sustainably producing an pet food product or product, said method comprising the step of formulating a pet food product by replacing all or part of fish oil in the composition with a single microbial source of eicosapentaenoic acid (“EPA”) and docosahexaenoic acid (“DHA”). In a preferred embodiment, the microbial source comprising DHA and EPA derives from a microorganism/microbe of the genus Schizochytrium or Thraustochytrium.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments concern a composition and/or combination, and a method of administering the same as a feed, or to supplement the feed of, aquatic animals, particularly for aquaculture. Disclosed composition and/or combination embodiments may comprise glucan, silica, mineral clay, mannans, yucca, quillaja, a probiotic, and/or an adhesive agent. The adhesive agent may be selected particularly to facilitate administration to aquatic species. In certain embodiments the adhesive agent comprises an oil, such as soy oil, or a syrup, such as molasses, or combinations thereof. In some embodiments the composition and/or combination may further comprise polyphenol, an antimicrobial, and/or a vaccine. Also disclosed is a method for promoting growth and/or immune function in aquatic animals.

Abstract: A product having an internal substance protected by a rugged exterior shell is disclosed. The internal substance is reactive with the exterior shell but is separated therefrom by a coating on an interior surface of the external shell so that the product can be stored for a long period of time without the internal substance reacting with the exterior shell. The coating is meltable so that, when desired, the product may be heated (e.g. immersed in hot water or exposed to heat) in order to melt the coating so that the internal substance can react with the external shell so that the internal substance can excrete out of the exterior shell.

Abstract: The present embodiments relate to a product and method for creating dietary food drinks based upon the chimpanzee's diet, which consists of nearly 100% real, raw, and whole foods. The result closely portioned food drink that are comprised of approximately 60% fruits and berries, 25% vegetables, 10% nuts, and 5% seeds by caloric intake of the total products, not including water admixture, and consisting of highly absorbable nutrients. Entire foods are often utilized, including edible peels, seeds, stems, seeds, skin, rhines, pulp, and husks pureed and blended to an enjoyable consistency. The resulting products deliver super nutrient-rich, natural meals that are closely portioned to mimic the diet of chimpanzees.

The removable bottom is further configured to be coupleable to the bottle such that the frozen solid and the stem are positioned within the bottle and the bottom opening is sealed.

Abstract: The invention consists of an apparatus for fried food degreasing and warming. It is designed to enable a user to transfer from a cooking source fried food, typically consisting of food products such as fried meats, breads, vegetables and the like, to an apparatus that has a top lid and bottom lid affixed to each other in what is commonly known as a “clam shell” configuration. Attached inside of the top lid of the apparatus, via clips, is a specialized absorbent pad that has been designed such that fats and cooking oils are efficiently removed from the fried food. Additionally, the specialized absorbent pad can be manufactured in various sizes and dimensions to accommodate varying dimensions and quantities of fried food products.

A claim is directed to an edible composition comprising from about 0.0005 to about 3 percent by weight of a natural colorant; and from about 0.015 to about 0.15 percent by weight of enzymatically modified isoquercitrin antioxidant. Under conditions present in the salad dressing, the calcium carbonate reacts with the phosphoric acid to form surface modified calcium carbonate particles that dissolve over the shelf-life of the salad dressing to slowly release CO2 into the emulsion, resulting in a whipped, bodied texture for the salad dressing within the bottle or other container.

The starch may be modified enzymatically, physically, or by acid hydrolysis. Such gelling agents exhibit properties that may be useful in thickening or providing otherwise unique textures to foods.

Abstract: Methods for preparing thermally inhibited starch agglomerates are disclosed. Abstract: A food processing tool for extracting a consumable food product from a food item can include a first reamer having an outer surface, with the food item positioned on the first reamer, and a second reamer having an interior surface. The food processing tool can also include a drive mechanism fixedly coupled to the second reamer, where the drive mechanism can move the second reamer toward the first reamer so that the interior surface of the second reamer contacts the food item to compress the food item. The compression of the food item can alter a shape of the food item to a substantially flat shape and produce the consumable food product. The food processing tool can also include a receptacle sized and shaped to receive the consumable food product. Related methods for using the food processing tool are also provided.

The texture in each zone may be applied using a variety of methods such as printing. The resulting aerodynamic garment improves the performance of an athlete wearing the aerodynamic garment by reducing the aerodynamic drag experienced during the performance of the athletic activity.
