  • Patent number: 10032096
Abstract: A terminal uses a web application to control a printer on a network. The web application includes an API that permits the terminal to send instruction and inquiries to the printer over the network. The terminal submits, to the API, the printer's IP address and instructions for defining a print document or printer commands. The API then sends the print document or printer commands to the printer in accordance with the IP address. In this manner, the terminal can request status updates without sending a print job to the printer. The terminal sets the printer's ID address, identifies a type of status event inquiry, and submits the inquiry to receive the printer's current status related to the identified status event. To submit a print job, the terminal creates a print document using the API, sets the printer's ID address, and sends the print document as a print job to be printed.

  • Patent number: 10032102
Abstract: Excess radio-frequency (RF) power storage in RF identification (RFID) tags, and related systems and methods are disclosed. The RFID tag is configured to operate with RF power received in wireless RF signals from a RFID tag antenna if received RF power meets or exceeds an operational threshold power for the RFID tag. The RFID tag is also configured to store excess energy derived from excess received RF power in an energy storage device if the received RF power exceeds the operational threshold power for the RFID tag. Thus, when RF power received by the RFID tag is not sufficient for operation, the RFID tag can operate from power provided by previously stored excess energy in the energy storage device.

  • Patent number: 10032116
Abstract: A historical repository of device identifiers associated with sets of prior mean values and prior standard deviation values, is maintained. A device identification message is received from a suspect computer device and contains a device identifier and a measured device signature value. A mean value and a standard deviation value are determined based thereon, and used to update the prior mean value and the prior standard deviation value in one of the sets in the historical repository having an association to the device identifier. A prior frequency value is determined. A posterior probability value, indicating likelihood that the suspect computer device corresponds to a genuine computer device identified by the device identifier, is generated based on the mean value, the standard deviation value, and the prior frequency value. Whether the suspect computer device is permitted to access an electronic resource is controlled based on the posterior probability value.

  • Patent number: 10032119
Abstract: An ordering system receives release requests to release packets, where each packet has an associated sequence number, but the system only releases packets sequentially in accordance with the sequence numbers. The system includes a Ticket Order Release Command Dispatcher And Sequence Number Translator (TORCDSNT) and a plurality of Ticket Order Release Bitmap Blocks (TORBBs). The TORBBs are stored in one or more transactional memories. In response to receiving release requests, the TORCDSNT issues atomic ticket release commands to the transactional memory or memories, and uses the multiple TORBBs in a chained manner to implement a larger overall ticket release bitmap than could otherwise be supported by any one of the TORBBs individually. Special use of one flag bit position in each TORBB facilitates this chaining. In one example, the system is implemented in a network flow processor so that the TORBBs are maintained in transactional memories spread across the chip.
