Abstract: Provided is an apparatus for managing a player with a guard including a sensor sensing a vital information of a player to calculate an injury risk of the player to thereby manage a condition of the player, the apparatus including: a communication unit receiving the vital information from the guard and transmitting the injury risk to the guard; a memory storing a program calculating the injury risk to manage the condition of the player; and a processor connected to the communication unit and the memory to execute an operation implemented by the program, in which the program may include instructions using the vital information and pre-stored vital recovering ability data of the player to calculate the injury risk of the player.

Abstract: A method for monitoring biometric information for a user is provided. The method comprises a computer system identifying current activity for the user. The computer system monitors the biometric information for the user from an activity tracking device for the user while a current activity occurs. Finally, the computer system generates an alert when the biometric information is out of a desired range for the current activity.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a method and apparatus for a wireless exercise monitoring system for interactively monitoring an aspect of exercise, sports, or fitness utilizing a wearable device, such as a watch, eyewear, or smart apparel. The device is equipped with, or connected to, a digital camera. Sensors integrated with, or wirelessly connected to, the wearable internet device record physiological data during exercise and data measuring the amount of exercise performed. The data and visual images from the camera are transmitted to one or more internet servers, and may be shared with other mobile internet devices.

The scaly structure of the present invention has small friction when it is in smooth position, and the scale structure will be turned and opened oppositely to the bending direction when it is in tough position, bringing increased friction to obstruct the movement.

The method includes choosing control points of a polyhedron, generating an irregular domain based on those control points, packing the irregular domain with dimples, and tessellating the irregular domain to cover the surface of the golf ball. The control points include the center of a polyhedral face, a vertex of the polyhedron, a midpoint or other point on an edge of the polyhedron and others. The method ensures that the symmetry of the underlying polyhedron is preserved while minimizing or eliminating great circles due to parting lines.

Since the amount of light remaining in a dimple cover is increased, fluorescent characteristics of a fluorescent material is improved, so that beautiful colors and improved visibility can be achieved. Therefore, it is possible to improve golfers' performance.

After a series of throws, the point scores are totaled and the player earning the most points or the player first to reach a score goal wins.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a course difficulty rating method using a mechanical method to obtain an energy differential for obtaining a difficulty rating. More specifically, the present disclosure describes a difficulty rating method used to determine a relative difficulty of a cross country running course or a road racing course using energy information of a self-propelled vehicle. The method includes: obtaining an energy reading of a self-propelled vehicle as it is propelled on a first course; obtaining an energy reading of the self-propelled vehicle at is it propelled over a second course; and comparing the energy readings collected by the self-propelled vehicle over the first course and the second course to determine an energy factor course for the first course.

Abstract: A snow ski assembly is provided for use by an individual to slide across a snow covered surface, for example, under the force of gravity. The assembly includes a ski having a bottom wall for engaging a snow covered surface and an upturned peripheral region extending around a perimeter of the bottom wall to help facilitate sliding movement of the ski across a snow covered surface in any direction, without preference to a particular direction, and to help inhibit the ski from digging into the snow covered surface when sliding across the snow covered surface. Abstract: A method to implement a blackjack variation includes that, when the dealer is resolving the dealer's hand, if the dealer's point total is a preset total, then the dealer would automatically burn a card in the dealer's hand (such as the last card dealt to the dealer). The preset total can be twenty-one, so that, whenever the dealer's point total (after the dealer is done resolving the dealer's hand) is twenty-one, the dealer would burn a card in the dealer's hand. Thus, the dealer would typically have to draw another card, which could result in a better outcome for the player. (E.g., the dealer could bust or end up with a point total less than twenty-one).

Multiple persons each control a handle or lifting line and operate the crane through coordinated movement of the handles and lifting lines.

Abstract: A contextual user interface based on video game playback is described. An assistant device can receive video game state information indicating a state of a playback of a video game on a video game console. Using that information, the assistant device can determine characteristics of the playback and generate a button on a graphical user interface (GUI) based on the characteristics. A user can then select the button and cause the assistant device to instruct the video game console to perform a corresponding action.
