A representative smoking article possesses an outer housing incorporating a source of electrical power (e.g., a battery), a sensing mechanism for powering the device at least during periods of draw, and a heating device (e.g., at least one electrical resistance heating element) for forming a thermally generated aerosol that incorporates components of tobacco. During use, the cigarette is positioned within the device, and after use, the used cigarette is removed from the device and replaced with another cigarette.

Abstract: The present invention is a manual non-mechanized device that consists of a base and a guide. This invention is a device that provides an expeditious method to invert or turn inside-out and to reform or turn glove appendages back to the proper side, that has numerous openings, one of which accepts a guide. The guide is defined as an asymmetrical cylinder having two (2) opposing ends. One end has a concave configuration and above and adjacent to the other end are a couple of grooves that circumscribe the guide with a couple of flexible elements fitted therein. The latter end is fitted into one of the openings in the base, to be securely mounted therein without using threaded means. The present invention facilitates efficient cleaning and/or rapid drying of the lining and quick reformation to the proper side with a proper fit. The main objective of the present invention is to promote healthy, morbidity free hands in the workplace and at home.

The shield comprises a layer of a perspiration absorbent material, a layer of a perspiration impermeable material, and an adhesive composition suitable for releasably adhering the shield to the skin of a wearer's underarm. The materials are arranged such that the perspiration absorbent material is exposed over at least a portion of the inner side of the shield defining a first area, and the adhesive composition is disposed on the inner side of the shield defining a border circumferential about the first area. A portion of the shield is arranged to extend radially outwardly of the border defining a tab portion to facilitate easier removal of the shield from the wearer's skin following use.

A spacing pad is positioned within the rigid shell. Another helmet padding system includes a rigid shell configured to cover at least a portion of a user's head and be worn under a baseball cap. The rigid shell includes a lower edge and an upper edge. The lower edge extends around no more than half of the user's head when the rigid shell is worn under the baseball cap. A spacing pad is positioned within the rigid shell.

The ankle cuff is formed of unitary knit construction with the upper as a one-piece knit element and extends above a throat area of the upper. This enables the conduit for electrical discharge to be compressed, when a user takes a step. The base is terminally connected to the compressible central core, opposite to the cap coupler. The coupler-receiving receptacle traverses through the detachable cap, and the cap coupler engages into the coupler-receiving receptacle. This enables the detachable cap to function as an endcap that clamps the sole of the shoe between the base and the detachable cap. As a result, the detachable cap comes into contact with the user's foot and discharges static electricity through the compressible central core and the base, into the ground.

In addition, the articles may be formed from two or more materials in a single rapid manufacturing process. The rapid manufacturing additive fabrication technique may also include using of varying intensities of the laser to fuse material to form the articles.

Abstract: The present invention provides a shoe upper skin film for preventing dye migration, which comprises: a polyurethane skin or thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film having a color layer; and a thermoplastic polyurethane hot-melt film, wherein a film made of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer is formed between the TPU film and the hot melt film. Thus, when the skin film is bonded to a fabric, the dye of the fabric can be prevented from migrating to the skin film so that the color layer of the skin film can be stained from being stained.

Abstract: A snap hook includes a frame, a gate, and a screwdriver blade. The frame has a first hook portion and a second hook portion located on different sides. The gate has an abutting end abutting against an end of the first hook portion. The screwdriver blade is pivotally connected to the frame, and a working end is formed on an end of the screwdriver blade whereby the snap hook could be engaged with two objects through the first hook portion and the second hook portion. The gate blocks a side opening of the first hook portion, and therefore the object hanged in the first hook portion would not fall out accidentally. Furthermore, the screwdriver blade increases the added value of the snap hook.
