Abstract: A one-piece garment for use in physical exercise that appears to be three separate pieces of clothing and permits movement without requiring the user to adjust the fit of the garment as a result of the user's movement. The top of the torso piece is affixed to a bra and the bottom of the torso piece is affixed to a waistband which is in turn affixed to a pant, in each case to assist with avoiding the need to adjust the garment during exercise or other movement while maintaining coverage of the abdomen and the rest of the torso. The user can put on or take the garment off with ease similar to that of a one-piece swimsuit. The garment does not require the use of uncomfortable protrusive fasteners and avoids the need for the skin-tight or excessively loose appearance of typical one-piece exercise garments.

Abstract: A body protection assembly is disclosed for protecting a human body from injury due to an impact. An internal planar structure (102) defines the shape of the apparatus and an outer layer of a flexible sheet material (105) has a shape defined by the internal planar structure. The internal planar structure is constructed from a plurality of cells such that, in response to an impact, the cells at the position of an impact region deform to absorb kinetic energy. Furthermore, the outer layer of flexible sheet material extends the size of the impact region so as to increase the number of cells that absorb this kinetic energy.

Abstract: One form of the present application is directed to a protective foam face mask which includes a frontal portion structured to cover at least a portion of a face of a user, wherein the frontal portion defines an ocular cavity. The foam face mask further includes two side portions astride the ocular cavity extending rearwardly from the frontal portion, wherein the side portions are structured to cover the ears of a user, and wherein the frontal portion and the side portions are constructed of a foam. The foam face mask further comprises a mesh eye shield extending across the ocular cavity, wherein an outer perimeter of the mesh eye shield is encased in the foam of the frontal portion and the side portions, and wherein the frontal portion, the side portions, and the mesh eye shield form a unitary face mask structure.

Abstract: A transformable garment that folds and envelops the wearer with a garment body with panels that use origami folding and shape memory alloy (SMA) elements to assist to transform the garment from an expanded state to a retracted state is provided. Garment designs with transformable panels and sleeves can benefit those who have trouble dressing by allowing the garment to wrap around and fit the wearer without outside help. These types of clothes are expected to be beneficial for people with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and also for populations with other body movement disorders and elderly people.

Abstract: A glove is provided that enables suppression of cracks in a coating layer containing nitrile butadiene rubber as a principal component. The glove comprises: a glove main body made of fibers for covering a wearer's hand; and a coating layer which comprises nitrile butadiene rubber as a principal component and coats at least a part of an outer face of a palm region of the glove main body, in which: the coating layer comprises zinc oxide and a cross-linked product of the nitrile butadiene rubber and polycarbodiimide; and a mass ratio of the polycarbodiimide to the nitrile butadiene rubber is no less than 0.002. The mass ratio of the polycarbodiimide to the nitrile butadiene rubber is preferably no greater than 0.09. The content of the zinc oxide with respect to 100 parts by mass of the nitrile butadiene rubber is preferably from 0.3 to 5 parts by mass.

Abstract: A digging glove may include a glove and a digging claw member secured to at least one finger of the glove. The digging claw member may include a claw body and at least one claw tip profile extending from the claw body. The at least one claw tip profile may include an inner profile defining a main chamber, and an isolation chamber. The inner profile includes an extension member extending inwardly within the claw body separating the main chamber from the isolation chamber. The isolation chamber may extend at least within an inner portion of the at least one claw tip profile.

Abstract: An article of clothing includes a torso portion, a first sleeve, and a second sleeve. The first sleeve is coupled to the first side of the torso portion. The second sleeve is coupled to the second side of the torso portion. The torso portion includes a plurality of resilient bands, one disposed diagonally on the front of the torso portion, and two diagonally disposed on the rear of the torso portion such that the two bands intersect one another. The first sleeve and the second sleeve each also include a resilient band. The front band of the torso and one of the rear bands of the torso may have a first modulus of elasticity. The second rear band of the torso and the band of the first sleeve may have a second modulus of elasticity. The band of the second sleeve may have a third modulus of elasticity.

Abstract: The present invention relates to clothing having an anion-emitting silicone patch attached thereto and a method for manufacturing same. The clothing having an anion-emitting silicone patch attached thereto according to the present invention comprises: clothing; and a silicone patch which is adhered to the clothing and emits anions, wherein the silicone patch comprises anion ore powder and is adhered to clothing by seamless welding at a temperature ranging from 170 to 180° C. under a pressure of 45 to 55 psi applied for 9 to 13 seconds. Accordingly, the present invention manufactures silicone patches using an anion-emitting material and adheres same to clothing, thereby, as a result of the anions, improving blood circulation in the human body and relieving fatigue, and enabling the patches to be firmly attached to the clothes by silicone.

Abstract: A knit garment comprises a seamless, tubular torso section, a shoulder section knit continuously with the torso section along a front surface, and a single, continuous seam affixing the shoulder section to the torso section along a width of the upper back of the garment. Such a garment can be made by continuously knitting a double-layer web, interlooping the layers of the web to one another to forma central tube, severing the web, trimming material from the first layer of the double layers, folding the second layer over itself toward the first layer, and affixing the second layer to the first layer.

Abstract: A helmet has inner and outer shells separated by a plurality of interconnected relatively soft columns or posts. The columns each have a middle post or pillar section, a capital that is of larger diameter than the post, and a base also of larger transverse dimension than the post. When an impact above a design threshold occurs on the outer shell, the columns, particularly the post sections thereof, near the impact location compress and buckle, dissipating impact kinetic energy, while columns spaced from the impact zone stretch and support more of the impact force. The applied force is therefore reduced and spread out over a relatively large area, and a resultant wave created within the column manifold disperses additional heat, further reducing the force and torque applied on the outer shell and transmitted to the inner shell and onto the skull of a helmet user. A method and mold for fabricating the column manifold are also disclosed.

The face shield assembly includes a visor member, a face guard member and at least one lock-down strap. The visor member is rotatably-attached to the body. The face guard member is arranged over the visor member. A first end of the at least one lock-down strap is connected to the face guard member. A second end of the at least one lock-down strap is selectively-attached to the body. A helmet system including a fluid gutter is also disclosed.

The wireform has a first end pivotally connected to the housing for rotational movement relative to the rail system about a first axis. The pivot mount is slidably connected to the wireform at a second end of the wireform. The pivot mount is movable along a portion of the wireform, along a second axis. The yoke is connected to the pivot mount for rotation about a third axis and is connectable to the earpiece to permit the earpiece to rotate about a fourth axis.

Abstract: An insole inclusive of a hooked pad has an upper layer and a lower layer which meet and define a closed space for containing a gas flowing therein. The hooked pad is defined and divided into a bottom portion, long end portion, and short end portion. The bottom portion connects with the long end portion and the short end portion, with the bottom portion corresponding in position to a heel, the long end portion corresponding in position to the medial longitudinal arch, and the short end portion corresponding in position to the lateral longitudinal arch. Due to its special structure, the insole provides sufficient support, renders walking or running smooth, gives comfort to the foot, makes lengthy standing less tiring, has a long service life, and incurs low production costs.

In some embodiments, a fingernail brush of the present disclosure may include one or more vibration generators that cause bristles to vibrate at a sonic frequency, an ultrasonic frequency, or both, to enhance cleaning efficacy.

Abstract: The present invention relates to tooth cleaning devices that are designed for portable, discrete use to improve dental hygiene as well as cosmetic appearance of teeth. For example, discrete cleaning of the teeth after drinking dark-colored beverages in social settings wherein conventional teeth cleaning devices are unavailable or inconvenient. The present disclosure also describes processes for using and devices for storing and dispensing such devices.

Abstract: A circular paint “puck” is molded silicone or rubber with a diameter matching the bottom of a standard coffee cup or else a standard disposable paint mixing cup of 8 oz, 16 oz, 32 oz or 64 oz. The puck is a disk featuring cleaning surfaces on the top side and, on the bottom, suction cups for securing the puck to the bottom of the cup and preventing its moving during brush cleaning. A painter using the puck attaches it to the bottom of the brush-washing cup, fills the cup with water, and agitates paint brushes against the cleaning surfaces to clean them. The paint puck is made of flexible silicone rubber for economy, molding specialized surfaces, easy cleaning and easy removal from the cup. However, the silicone must have enough rigidity to provide a functional suction cup and for its cleaning surfaces to provide resistance to sticky, wet brush bristles covered in paint.

A paint puck set includes solvent container, stable footing and ultimate rinse cup topper with brush holders, flexible cup grip, brush scraping surfaces and drip tray.
