Abstract: A track for a toy vehicle includes several track units. Each track unit has an upper layer and a spaced apart lower layer. Each of the adjacent units comprises two sections. A first section has an upper side for supporting the toy vehicle and a bottom side. A second section has an upper layer having a top side for supporting the toy vehicle and a lower base. The first section has a first connector, and the second section has a mating second connector. The first and second connectors are connectable so that first and second sections are connectable in an adjacent unit to form an adjacency relationship. Each unit includes a first section and two second sections. Two second sections are located at opposite longitudinal ends of the first section. The first section is bendable in a longitudinal sense substantially parallel to a plane on which a track is directed from one end to the other end in a track running direction.

Abstract: A bobbling toy exciter is provided for gently tapping the bobbling portion of the bobbling toy to create a continuous movement of the bobbling portion. A motor drives a flexible arm in periodic movement which causes the arm to strike the bobbling portion, for example the bobbling head of the toy. A bob or other mass may be added to the end of the flexible arm to more effectively strike the toy. The flexible arm may extend transversely from the shaft of a rotating motor. The flexible arm may also transversely extend from a pivoting vertical rod. The present bobbling toy exciter gently creates movement and action in bobbling toys which would require manual excitation, so that the user may continuously enjoy the bobbling movement.

Abstract: An electrochemical device suited to modifying a carbon dioxide concentration in an interior space includes a cathode chamber with an inlet which receives a feed gas containing carbon dioxide. A reduction catalyst layer in the cathode chamber reduces carbon dioxide in the gas to form an ionic carrier species. An anode chamber with an outlet outputs a gas comprising carbon dioxide. A solid electrolyte membrane spaces the anode chamber from the cathode chamber and transports the ionic carrier species between the cathode chamber and the anode chamber. The membrane includes an ionic liquid. An oxidation catalyst layer in the anode chamber oxidizes the ionic carrier species to form carbon dioxide. A voltage source provides a voltage difference across the membrane.

Abstract: A method and system for collecting gaseous nitrogen compounds into an aqueous solution are provided. The method enables the combination of gaseous sulfur and nitrogen compounds in the aqueous solution to generate ammonium compound components, to include ammonium sulfate. Sulfur may be pressure injected into the solution as gaseous sulfur dioxide. Optionally, carbon may be introduced into the solution as gaseous carbon dioxide. The sulfur may be earlier sourced by a burning of a sulfurous solid. The pH of the solution may be monitored and the introduction of ammonia, carbon and/or sulfur may be halted or constrained while the pH of the solution is measured outside of specified range. The solution may be allowed to age to permit a mix of compounds of ammonium carbonate, ammonium bicarbonate and ammonium carbonate to restabilize and thereby encourage a renewed surge of ammonium sulfate generation.

Abstract: A method is provided for making a magnesium(Mg)-iron(Fe) complex oxide. The Mg—Fe complex oxide is used for separating and purifying carbon dioxide (CO2). The present invention solves the problem of using iron ore in chemical looping combustion. The present invention comprises the following steps: At first, iron ore and magnesium nitrate (Mg(NO3)2.6H2O) are impregnated for reaction. After sieving within a fixed range of size, calcination is processed to obtain the Mg—Fe complex oxide. Not only the problem of using iron ore in chemical combustion loop is effectively solved; but also the whole procedure can be looped for a long time with a high CO2 conversion rate.
