Abstract: An electronic vapor provision system includes a control unit including: a battery for providing electrical power to a heater which is used to produce vapor, and a controller. The controller is configured to collect information, during user operation of the electronic vapor provision system, relating to: power consumption from the battery due to operation of the heater to produce vapor, and re-charging of the battery. The controller is further configured to maintain a model of power consumption from the battery by the electronic vapor provision system and of the timings of re-charging the battery, wherein the model is formed or updated from the collected information. The model is further configured to predict from the model whether an estimated power consumption from the battery by the electronic vapor provision system will discharge down to a threshold level of charge before an estimated next re-charging time, and if so, perform a user notification and/or mitigation action in response to the prediction.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to aerosol delivery devices that may include components configured to convert electrical energy to heat and atomize an aerosol precursor composition. An outer body may at least partially enclose the components. An illumination source may be configured to output electromagnetic radiation. A wave guide may be configured to receive the electromagnetic radiation from the illumination source and illuminate the aerosol delivery device. The wave guide may define an increasing width from a first longitudinal end at which the electromagnetic radiation is received to an opposing second longitudinal end. Thereby, the wave guide may directly transmit the electromagnetic radiation across the entirety of the second longitudinal end to provide substantially even illumination at the second longitudinal end while employing less material and reducing the volume of space occupied by the wave guide as compared to cylindrical embodiments of wave guides. Related methods are also provided.

The rationale behind the development of this invention is to minimize electromagnetic fields/frequency (EMF); electromagnetic radiation (EMR); and electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) while managing moisture production within the same. Multiple textile barrier linings will serve as blocking measures to minimize the hazardous effects linked to various EMR/EMF emitting exposure as well as introduce moisture and absorption properties. In addition, this invention will address the problems with existing products and EMF/EMR protectors that are described as heavy, uncomfortable, and expensive to process.

Abstract: A garment of the present invention is a garment (1) including: a covering fabric; padding to be filled inside the covering fabric; and quilting stitches (2a, 2b). The padding is a polyester staple fiber cotton including fibers having a circular outer peripheral cross section and has an open fiber structure. The fibers constituting the padding have an irregular diameter, and a smoothing agent is fixed to surfaces of the fibers. Thus, it is possible to provide a garment free from problems of uneven distribution of padding after repeated washing, fatigue, etc., and having favorable water removability at the time of washing, quick dryability, and a favorable sliding property between fibers even though synthetic fiber cotton is used as the padding. This garment is suitable as a garment for sports to be washed repeatedly. Further, since the garment can be worn in a puffy state even when wet with sweat, rain, snow, water, etc., it dries quickly by the body temperature and prevents the coldness of the body.

The anti-slip attachment system may include a plurality of malleable, high-friction strip attachments. Each attachment may include an elongated body having a top and bottom surface. The top surface may be composed of slip-resistant material having a high coefficient of friction (e.g., rubber). The bottom surface may include a layer of adhesive material with a release layer affixed thereto. Removal of the release layer may reveal the adhesive material, which may then be used to securely attach the strip attachment to a desired location. The strip attachments may be selectively positioned along an interior surface of a storage compartment to prevent the inadvertent displacement or unauthorized removal of contents stored therein.

Abstract: A safety helmet with a rotary impact buffering function comprises a shell and an elastic liner arranged in the shell, wherein a gap is formed between the shell and the elastic liner, and a rotary impact buffering device enabling the shell to rotate relative to the elastic liner is arranged between the shell and the elastic liner. When the safety helmet is impacted by external force, the shell has the tendency to rotate relative to the elastic liner under the effect of component force applied to the shell in the tangential direction; however, through tangential deformation of the rotary impact buffering device, the shell can rotate relative to the elastic liner by a certain angle on the premise of keeping the elastic liner unmoved, and thus the impact to users from external force is greatly reduced.
