Abstract: An insole is provided that is constructed out of a mesh material that is stretched and suspended over a cavity formed in a shoe. The mesh surrounds a foam base and a rigid frame positioned under the foam base. The foam base is shaped so that a cavity is formed between the top surface of the foam base and the mesh positioned over the foam base to provide a “trampoline” effect for a wearer's foot.

Abstract: An article of footwear may include an upper configured to receive a foot of a wearer and a sole structure fixedly attached to the upper, the sole structure including a ground-contacting outer member and a removable midsole. The footwear may further include a motorized tensioning system including a power source, a control unit, a tensile member, and a motorized tightening device, the motorized tightening device being attached to an outer surface of the upper, and the tightening device being configured to apply tension in the tensile member to adjust the size of an internal void defined by the article of footwear. In addition, the power source and the control unit of the tensioning system may be configured to be removably disposed in the removable midsole.

The anti-inversion mechanism also includes a stop that is fixedly attached to the rib and restricts the degree of travel of the floating joint member along the rib and is positioned to prevent the respective rib from inverting in response to an applied force.

Abstract: An equipment bag having external shoe pockets at its lower side portions is provided. The shoe pockets are substantially in the shape of a shoe. When a shoe is inserted in a shoe pocket, the shoe's sole and cleats associated therewith, abut the side of the bag. The side of the bag that the cleats may abut is preferably reinforced with material to reduce the likelihood of damage to the bag or contents within the bag. The pocket includes expandable mesh side portions that allow the pockets to expand size to better receive shoes, and also to improve airflow through the shoes and reduce shoe odor. An adjustment system is also provided that allows shoes to be more snugly secured within the pockets.

Abstract: An article of collapsible luggage includes a front surface, a plurality of front perimeter walls forming a closed perimeter around the front surface, and a split wing assembly having a left wing and a right wing. Both wings are pivotally attached the front perimeter walls and configured to rotate between a reinforcing position and a collapsing position. In the reinforcing position, the wings reinforce corners of the collapsible luggage and maintain the plurality of front perimeter walls substantially perpendicular to the front surface. In the collapsing position, the wings do not reinforce the corners of the collapsible luggage, thereby allowing the plurality of front perimeter walls to collapse into a substantially coplanar arrangement with the front surface.

Abstract: A convertible device that converts between an activity mat and a storage container to capture and store numerous articles. Upon reclosing the activity mat, the articles are recaptured into the storage container. The device includes walls and a base, webbing connected between each adjacent wall pair, and a joint connected between the base and walls so that they are foldable into a third configuration wherein the footprint of the folded device is roughly the size of the base. In the third configuration, the walls are stacked relative to the base. The convertible device may further include two zippers for releasably holding the walls in a rigid and upright position in the first configuration. The webbing can be inwardly biased such that when the walls are urged from the second to the first configuration, the webbing folds toward the interior of the convertible device.

Abstract: The packages described by this invention all have reduced “head space,” that is, the distance from lid to lens. Packages contain dimples to achieve this reduced head space. Specifically, packages are designed with dimple sag equal to or less than 1.90-mm, or volume displaced equal to or less than 360 ?l. Combined with the existing primary packaging, it has been found that such conditions provide for reduction in folded lens rate during shipping and handling. As well, lenses stored or having an extended time in low head space packages in a “foil down” orientation now have characteristics closer lenses stored in a “foil up orientation”.

The cartridge has a reservoir that contains a liquid, such as nail polish or nail polish remover and a flow control member (e.g., valve) actuatable to allow flow of the liquid out of the distal end of the cartridge. The handle has a flow path therethrough that extends between its proximal end to an applicator implement (e.g., brush, sponge) attached to its distal end, the flow path in fluid communication with the flow control member when the cartridge is coupled to the handle. Selective actuation of the flow control member by the user (e.g., by squeezing the cartridge) allows fluid to flow out the reservoir and through the flow path in the handle to the applicator implement for application of the fluid by the user to a finger or toe nail.

The upper housing portion and the lower housing portion are twistable relative to one another, with the lid secured to the upper housing portion and twisting therewith. The lid and lower housing portion comprise engaging structures to secure the lid in a closed position when the respective engaging structures are aligned with one another. When the upper housing portion and lid are twisted relative to the lower housing portion, the lid is free to open upon reaching a sufficient amount of twisting movement.

Abstract: One or more reflectance modifying agent (RMA) such as a pigmented cosmetic agent is applied selectively and precisely with a controlled spray to human skin according to local skin reflectance or texture attributes. One embodiment uses digital control based on the analysis of camera images. Another embodiment, utilizes a calibrated scanning device comprising a plurality of LEDs and photo diode sensors to correct reflectance readings to compensate for device distance and orientation relative to the skin. Ranges of desired RMA application parameters of high luminance RMA, selectively applied to middle spatial frequency features, at low opacity or application density are each significantly different from conventional cosmetic practice. The ranges are complementary and the use of all three techniques in combination provides a surprisingly effective result which preserves natural beauty while applying a minimum amount of cosmetic agent.

Abstract: A self-righting toothbrush includes a head section mounting a set of frontwardly extending bristles and a tail section having a rearwardly extending lateral asymmetry. A medial section has a pivot surface that allows the toothbrush to pivot and roll on a horizontal support surface. The head and tail sections have respective centers of mass. In a non-bristles up position, one or both of the head and tail section centers of mass are spaced from a vertical plane that includes a pivot point where the pivot surface contacts the support surface and is perpendicular to a toothbrush rolling direction. Due to a moment imbalance dominated by the tail section center of mass, a rotational moment induces the toothbrush to pivot about the neutral pivot axis to a bristles up position in which both centers of mass are aligned in the vertical plane.

The data processing device is connected to an ergonomics database and is designed to evaluate the image data in order to determine the user's position data and posture data, to compare the determined position data and posture data to reference data in the ergonomics database in order to determine a measurement of a correctness of a corresponding position and posture of the user on the basis of the comparison, and to signal the determined measurement of correctness to the user.

A pair of legs is attached to a lower side of the base and configured to pivot between a stowed position and an extended position. Abstract: An edge trim for display cases, and methods for making edge trim, are described. Instead of using tape or an adhesive to attach trim to the outer rims of end panels, a shape pattern is created in an extruded trim piece. Then polyurethane liquid can be added to the interior of the panel so that it also fills in the shape pattern. When the polyurethane solidifies into foam it will create a tight bond between the panels and the trim pieces.

Abstract: A collapsible, two part easel for holding objects such as smartphones, cell phones, iPads, business cards, recipes, and calendars. The profile of the easel in the assembled position creates an angled support surface. The base of a viewable object rests on the top inside portion of the shelf created by the protruding support surface, and the back of the display object rests against the back angled inside portion of the perpendicular surfaces. The angle of the backrest creates a fixed viewing angle of the display object. The easel is easily assembled from its ship-flat position by rotating the perpendicular locking object support panel 90 degrees on its integral locking pivot cylinder already inserted into the variable sized backrest. The easels can be modularly locked together, or incorporate multiple easel supports on the back panel to support larger objects and increase the amount of graphics. The assembled unit, when the two parts are locked together becomes a structural support member.

Movement of the linkage toward the second position causes the seatback frame to move toward a fully reclined position and simultaneously causes the legrest platform to move toward a fully extended position.

The outdoor seating assembly includes a seat support structure; a seat portion coupled to the seat support structure, the seat portion configured to accommodate an individual disposed in a seated position; a seat back portion coupled to the seat support structure, the seat back portion configured to support a back of the individual; and at least one photovoltaic panel, the at least one photovoltaic panel attached to one of the seat portion and the seat back portion, the at least one photovoltaic panel geometrically conforming to a curvature of the one of the seat portion and the seat back portion. In one embodiment, at least one photovoltaic panel is coupled to the seat portion in an angularly adjustable manner. In another embodiment, at least one reflective device is provided for reflecting a portion of the solar radiation striking a seat member.

Abstract: A dual-height seat riser or booster provides an elevated seating surface for an adult individual when positioned on, for example, a bench or pew surface. The riser includes a pair of sidewalls having upper and lower edges and a seat member fixed offset to a midline so as to be closer to the upper edge of the sidewall and positioned at an angle so as to slope downward. The riser is configured such that when positioned on a bench with the lower edge of the sidewalls down and the front edge of the seat member forward, the seat member is at a first height, approximately 4 to 16 inches, and when the riser is inverted with the upper edge down and the rear edge forward, the seat member is at a second height, approximately 2 to 8 inches.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a multipurpose cushion formed from a contiguous material having a general shape of a rectangular or oblong base with a triangular portion that rises from a first end of the base toward a second end, the triangular portion covering a majority of the base portion. The cushion may be adapted for any of several uses including upright, vertical placement as an armrest and/or seat divider, or downward vertical placement as a head rest. The cushion may be adapted for applications using a horizontal placement, such as a seat cushion, a laptop device support, a foot rest, and a lumber or neck support for exercise and/or lying down activities. The cushion may further include a belt for use as a belted support in freely moving activities and exercises.

The frame is foldable about an asymmetrically positioned transverse axis into one of the two positions. In the first position, the frame extends to substantially cover the open perimeter of the crib disposed underneath. Soft goods supported from the frame define a generally level surface that is convenient for changing an infant diaper along with a storage compartment disposed at one end. The level changing surface encompasses a majority of the area encompassed by the frame. In the second position, the frame is folded so that the end portion opposite of the storage compartment is moved into a positon adjacently above the remainder of the changing table surface.
