  • Patent number: 10092786
Abstract: The present invention relates to a fire-extinguishing composition containing an aldehyde/ketone compound. The fire-extinguishing composition releases a great quantity of active fire-extinguishing particles by making use of the heat generated from combustion of a pyrotechnic agent. The fire-extinguishing composition containing an aldehyde/ketone compound in the present invention reacts at a high temperature to generate free radicals and takes reaction with one or more of O-, OH-, H-free radicals necessary for a chain combustion reaction through the free radicals, so as to cut off the chain combustion reaction and take physical and chemical inhibiting effects to jointly achieve a fire extinguishing effect at the same time. Meanwhile, it takes synergistic interaction effects with the pyrotechnic agent to further raise the fire extinguishing efficiency of the fire extinguishing agent and greatly shorten the effective fire extinguishing time.

Abstract: A golf putting aide, that can be used as part of an independent game using golf equipment, which aide has a large annular platter with a series of evenly spaced spokes thereon on the upper side, and slip impeding means on the underside. Each spoke, is radiused on both side faces thereof, to match the curvature of a golf ball, such that on impact a golf ball will roll down the spoke toward a center opening in the platter rather than ricocheting off at an angle of incidence post impact. The spokes of the preferred embodiment taper inwardly from the rear surface toward the front surface, evenly on both sides of a center line, and taper downwardly along the top surface from the rear surface forwardly to the front. The device may be used at home on grass, at miniature golf locations or on a golf course hole with permission.

  • Patent number: 10092812
Abstract: Various embodiments facilitate location-aware distributed competitions. In one embodiment, a system facilitates a distributed sporting event that includes multiple players traveling over non-uniform courses that are remote from one another. The system includes a manager that receives state information, such as location information, from client devices used by each of the players. The manager then transmits location information for each of the players to the client devices, which are each configured to present a graphical representation, such as a map annotated with the locations of each of the players. The system corrects for disparities between the non-uniform courses traveled by the players, for example by mapping a location on a course traveled by a first player to a location on a course traveled by a second player. Various mechanisms for establishing the mapping between non-uniform courses are also described.

An inclination sensor along with a pole length sensor (pole length constant in a fixed length pole) has been placed into the pole for the achievement of the most suitable biomechanical performance, i.e. proper technique. The sport pole uses the Global Positioning System along with a topographical map to ensure that the slope of terrain does not affect the inclination sensor measurements. All collected data is analyzed by a control center, wherein correct usage models have been saved along with a collection of the user's anthropometric and fitness levels.
