Abstract: Methods, systems and devices are disclosed for reducing the motion of a body part during a medical procedure that requires stability of the body part. In one example, the device consists of an object which has been customized so that it conforms to an individual's anatomy. When placed on an individual, the device stabilizes their body during medical imaging or intervention. Virtual targets within the body can be localized as physical locations on the body by adding markers on the device. These markers can be quickly and easily localized across multiple treatment sessions. Because the device is customized for each individual, it is comfortable yet effective.

Abstract: A system and method for molecular breast imaging (MBI) using pixelated gamma cameras provide easier patient positioning and biopsy access using compression paddles and movable gamma cameras. The paddles and cameras can be curved to better conform to the breast shape. A variable angle slant-hole collimator is provided to assist in stereotactic imaging for biopsy guidance. Methods for performing an MBI screening or diagnostic examination and guiding a biopsy with stereotactic MBI are provided.

Abstract: Disclosed is an X-ray image radiographing apparatus being economical by using a small width sensor, occupying less space, and providing an X-ray CT image and an X-ray panoramic image without distortion and with high accuracy. An X-ray image radiographing apparatus according the present invention includes a rotation supporter rotating based on a rotation shaft; a generating unit including an X-ray generator radiating an X-ray beam; a sensing unit including a small width sensor moving in a width direction thereof; and a controller changing a rotation speed of the rotation supporter or a frame rate of the sensing unit to compensate changes in magnification ratio according to a distance change between an area of interest of the subject and the small width sensor when performing an X-ray image radiographing sequence obtaining a number of CT images by rotating the rotation supporter.
