Once the package is placed into the package compartment by the delivery person, the seat can be closed causing an internal latch, lock, or similar mechanism to secure the seat in the closed position, thereby securing the package inside the package compartment. To retrieve the package, the user can use a key to open a door positioned to provide access to the internal latch securing the seat in the closed position, thereby releasing the seat and allowing the user to open the package compartment and retrieve the package.

A lever on the U-shaped lower anchor is provided to release the anchor and hook from the pegboard.

In other embodiments, the disc may be fabricated from a kalle material and recycled materials; and in other embodiments, about 80% pig intestine, about 20% cellulose, and miscellaneous recycled materials. The device is manufactured in three different diameters. In the operational use as a coaster, the device rests under a drinking vessel containing a beverage, absorbing condensate material. In the operational use as a wiper, the device is configured to have sufficient absorbency to wipe off the surface of a surface, such as interior of a vehicle.
