Abstract: In some embodiments, anomaly detection may be facilitated via a multi-neural-network architecture. In some embodiments, a first neural network may be configured to generate hidden representations of data items corresponding to a concept. A second neural network may be configured to generate reconstructions of the data items from the hidden representations. The first neural network may be configured to assess the reconstructions against the data items and update configurations of the first neural network based on the assessment of the reconstructions. Subsequent to the update of the first neural network, the first neural network may generate a hidden representation of a first data item from the first data item. The second neural network may generate a reconstruction of the first data item from the hidden representation. An anomaly in the first data item may be detected based on differences between the first data item and the reconstruction.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for learning an entity's trust model and risk tolerance. An entity's trust score may be calculated based on data from a variety of data sources, and this data may be combined according to a set of weights which reflect an entity's trust model and risk tolerance. For example, an entity may weight data of a certain type more heavily for certain types of transactions and another type of data more heavily for other transactions. By gathering data about the entity, a system may predict the entity's trust model and risk tolerance and adjust the set of weights accordingly for calculating trust scores. Furthermore, by monitoring how entities adjust weights for different transaction types, default weighting profiles may be created that are customized for specific transaction types. As another example, an entity's trust score, as reported to a requesting entity, may be adjusted based on that requesting entity's own trust model, or how “trusting” the requesting entity is.

Abstract: An end-user device operable in a retail store records a voice conversation held in the retail store. The recording is transmitted to a server for comparing it to recordings of other conversations from a plurality of other retail stores. The server makes a recommendation based on the comparing. Embodiments of the invention are also directed to an analytics system that collects real-time metrics data for various virtual or physical retail stores associated with a plurality of contact centers. The system performs real-time analytics of the collected metrics data for identifying a product or service. The processor modifies, based on the real-time analytics, a prior service or product to be offered by a particular retail store, with the identified service or product. The processor pushes the modified service or product for display on the end-user device use in the particular retail store.

For example, during delivery an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) may capture one or more images of a plurality of delivery locations within an area. A computer system may generate one or more image templates or filters using the one or more images and subsequently use the image filters to verify a flight path or landing zone for a delivery by the UAV during flight.

Abstract: A method of managing delivery of a group of packages to a customer delivery address. A radio transceiver establishes a communication link between a tag and a computing device. The tag is associated with a package, the package being among a group of packages to be delivered to the customer delivery address. A radio signal is received at the computing device over the link. The radio signal is representative of tracking information associated with the package, the tracking information includes a unique package code and a unique group identification code. The signal strength of the radio signal is determined. The computing device determines that the package associated with the tag belongs with the group of packages based at least in part on proximity of the tag relative to the computing device and a unique group identification code associated with the customer delivery address.

Abstract: An initial indoor location inside a building is obtained with indoor positioning for a consumer mobile apparatus. Information relating to a common catalog including products available from a plurality of retail outlets inside the building is transmitted to the consumer mobile apparatus. A purchase order of products selected based on the information relating to the common catalog is received from the consumer mobile apparatus. A subsequent indoor location is obtained with the indoor positioning for the consumer mobile apparatus. If the subsequent indoor location is inside the building, a delivery location of the products inside the building is determined with the consumer mobile apparatus, and a delivery order of the products determining the delivery location and collection instructions for the products from the retail outlets inside the building is transmitted to a courier mobile apparatus.

Abstract: An energy event recording apparatus is mounted on each of a plurality of equipment installed at a business facility. When a change in the amount of the flow or stock of energy is detected in the apparatus mounted, each of a plurality of the energy event recording apparatuses records journal information, which associates the amount of change to a debit side item and a credit side item, respectively, and notifies an energy management server of the journal information. The energy management server calculates pieces of journal information conveyed from a plurality of recording apparatuses, respectively, based on the debit side item and the credit side item.

Abstract: Interposer assemblies may be inserted between a traditional shelf and traditional supports for the shelf. Each of the interposer assemblies may be configured to generate signals corresponding to changes in loading on the traditional shelf, and information regarding the changes may be determined to identify items placed onto or removed from the traditional shelf, and locations at which the items were placed or from which the items were removed. The interposer assemblies may include one or more load cells, such as strain-gage load cells, and analog signals generated by the load cells may be processed to determine a mass of an item placed on the shelf or removed therefrom. A gift or a merchant can also be identified in the interface. The person at the external location may be able to retrieve information stored in the payment terminal via standard communication channels. Abstract: In some examples, a merchant device at a point of sale (POS) location may present information to a merchant in a first language preferred by the merchant, and may present information to a buyer in a second language preferred by the buyer. The merchant device may switch between the different languages in response to detecting a change in the physical orientation of a display. For instance, in a first orientation in which the display is viewable from a merchant direction, the merchant device may present information in the language preferred by the merchant. When the orientation of the display is changed to a second orientation in which the display is viewable from a buyer direction, the merchant device may present information in the language indicated to be preferred by the buyer. Abstract: In order to validate a user to facilitate conducting a high-valued financial transaction via wireless communication between an electronic device (such as a smartphone) and another electronic device (such as a point-of-sale terminal), the electronic device may authenticate the user prior to the onset of the high-valued financial transaction. In particular, a secure enclave processor in a processor may provide local validation information that is specific to the electronic device to a secure element in the electronic device when received local authentication information that is specific to the electronic device (such as a biometric identifier of the user) matches stored authentication information. Moreover, an authentication applet in the secure element may provide the local validation information to an activated payment applet in the secure element. This may enable the payment applet to conduct the high-valued financial transaction via wireless communication, such as near-field communication.
