In another embodiment the club head may also comprise a front component, which is manufactured as a single unitary piece, and a rear cap component. The front component may also be overmolded by a thermoplastic polymeric outer portion which may or may not cover the striking face and which provides additional reinforcement at the load bearing sections of the club head and allows a more facile connection to the rear cap component. In another embodiment, a club head having a main body, crown insert, sole insert and metal face plate frame is formed by forming the sole insert and crown insert from a polymeric material using a thermoforming or thermosetting process and then injection molding the main body over the sole insert, crown insert and metal face plate frame.

The adjustment member is disposed in the recess and positionable between a first adjustment position and a second adjustment position. In the first adjustment position, the keel surface is at a first distance relative to the portion of the sole surface. In the second adjustment position, the keel surface is at a second distance relative to the portion of the sole surface not equal to the first distance in the direction.

Abstract: A golf club head comprising a means for adjusting the location of the center of gravity and a slidable weight assembly are disclosed herein. The club head comprises two channels, each having at least one shoulder portion, a floor, and a rail extending upwards from the floor. The channels intersect at a junction, and a slidable weight comprising a top portion, a mechanical fastener, a clamping structure, and a keyed, anti-rotation structure is disposed within at least one of the channels. When the mechanical fastener is tightened, the top portion presses against the at least one shoulder portion and pulls the clamping structure upward so that the clamping structure grips the rail. The rails are spaced from one another at the junction, and the clamping structure allows the slidable weight to be moved into either of the channels without being indexed.

Abstract: A sporting implement, such as a blade for a hockey stick, may include an outer layer, a core, and a recovery gel positioned between the core and the outer layer. The recovery gel can form a film, and the recovery gel can be compressible, shape recoverable, and pressurized to a predetermined pressure. The recovery gel can be configured to provide an integrated agent for filling cracks that appear during use of the blade. The recovery gel can be configured to absorb energy impacts between the outer layer and the core. When a crack appears, the predetermined pressure can be relieved inside the crack and fills a cavity formed by the crack to provide cohesion between the outer layer and the core to recreate a new material in the place of the crack. The recovery gel can be configured to help prevent cracks from propagating and actively heals potential damages by reducing stiffness loss caused by cracks.

Abstract: A system for protecting a golf club is provided. The system includes a carrier having a first surface and a second surface disposed on an opposite side of the carrier than the first surface. The carrier is selectively movable between a constricted state wrapped around the at least one golf club and a relaxed state. The system also includes at least one sleeve depending from one of the first surface and the second surface and including a first opening disposed at a first end of the at least one sleeve that receives a head of the at least one golf club. The at least one sleeve may be surrounded by the carrier when the carrier is in the constricted state. A fastener may be supported by the carrier to selectively maintain the carrier in the constricted state.

The indicium on the golf tee toss device can be in a plurality of designs to promote collection of the golf tee toss device.

Abstract: The baseball/softball hitting training device includes a base, a frame body, and a ball suspension system. The ball suspension system is supported by the frame body. The frame body includes a vertical stem portion and an offset portion. An upwardly-projecting arm of the vertical stem and a downwardly-projecting arm of the offset portion define a vertical axis between them. The ball suspension system is supported between the upwardly-projecting arm and downwardly-projecting arm, with the ball held vertically intermedially via a tether in alignment with the vertical axis and positioned to allow the player to practice hitting. Height-adjustment mechanisms are also disclosed. The tethered-ball training device can optionally be converted to a tee-ball training device.

Abstract: A system for coordinating radar data and image data to track a flight of a projectile includes a radar, an imager, and a controller. The imager provides an image of an area into which a projectile is to be launched. The controller receives the image and an identification of a target within the image and identifies a target line connecting the target and a launch position of the projectile. The controller also receives data from the radar relative to at least a portion of a trajectory of the projectile, generates image based trajectory data by correlating the radar data and the image, and alters the image to include the image based trajectory data within the image and the target line within the image.

Abstract: A golf instruction method, apparatus and analytics platform for determining the state of a putted golf ball relative to a target using information about the golf ball and external variables and remotely displaying the same comprising a base unit, a mobile device or terminal, and an associated computer program including an analytics engine for analyzing a user's performance. The computer program determines whether and how a putted golf ball has missed said target and then stores, aggregates and displays that information for a user. The analytics engine is operable to aggregate data, analyze data and then correlate a user's actual skill proficiency to ball performance.

Abstract: A tennis ball target device is provided that may provide for at least one target element having lettering, a design, or other such visual indicia that may indicate where a user might strike the target with a tennis ball. In some embodiments, the target element may be hingedly connected at its base to a weighted base element, which in some embodiments provides the counter-force to the impact created by the tennis ball. Abstract: Rate of deceleration is an important factor in determining the severity of injuries possibly sustained when participants collide with a wall assembly while playing, for example, ice hockey. Decreasing the rate of deceleration of the participant during such a collision with a wall assembly, by extending the distance over which a participant decelerates, is a key factor in reducing head and spinal injuries. The present disclosure provides apparatuses for decreasing the rate of deceleration by providing a wall assembly having a moveable piece that includes a first position and a plurality of second positions with a bias of the moveable piece to the first position. The movable wall assembly can move independently of a support frame, thereby further decreasing the rate of deceleration of a participant in a collision. The movable wall assembly can be supported on a base and slidable with respect to the base.

Abstract: A method and system is provided of enhancing the variability of high-quality computer graphics from limited sources utilizing minimal processing and bandwidth in real time. An underlying backdrop 3D model is generated. Next, Partially Rendered Pixels (PRP) of animated 3D characters are generated having lighting and texture information compatible with the underlying backdrop 3D model. The texture and other ancillary data are removed or omitted from the PRP animated 3D characters leaving only a detailed skeletal model. The extracted texture and other ancillary data are placed in a separate PRP lookup table. A fully rendered video segment is created from the PRP and a selected set of texture and other ancillary data.

Abstract: A method of and system for handling latency issues encountered in producing real-time entertainment such as games of skill synchronized with live or taped televised events is described herein. There are multiple situations that are dealt with regarding latencies in receiving a television signal with respect to real-time entertainment based on the unfolding games played along with the telecasts. Systemic delays, arbitrarily imposed delays of a broadcast signal and variances in the precise broadcast times of taped television programs have to be equalized so as to provide fair entertainment.

Abstract: Example methods and systems for computing a reaction time from an indexed event occurring in an indexed recording to a reaction signal are described. An example method includes receiving a sample of ambient content of a computing device, determining a position identification of the sample of ambient content into an indexed recording to which the sample of ambient content matches, based on the position identification, synchronizing display of content on a user interface of the computing device to the indexed recording, and computing the reaction time. The reaction signal is generated by the computing device and is indicative of a user's response to the indexed event.
